Ragini

We reached home after shopping for three hours and then having lunch later. Laksh went to his house while I moved to my room to get freshen up. I changed into a T-shirt and loose pajamas before making my way out of my room. Mom and dad were still at work. It was only two in the afternoon. I looked around the empty house. I didn't have anything to do. I smiled brightly as I made my way out of the house to the bodyguards' house .The door was closed but not locked. I opened the door and got inside. I was making my way to Laksh's room when I heard some sounds from the kitchen, so I turned my way.

I saw Laksh standing in the kitchen with his back facing me. He was drinking water from the bottle. He was still in his uniform. I rolled my eyes at that. This man is seriously obsessed with his uniform. I tip toed towards him and stood at his back.

"Bhooo..." I said loudly, trying to scare him.

He slowly turned to me like nothing happened. He started laughing at my failed attempt to scare him. I pouted crossing my arms around my chest.

"Do you think your rough and tough bodyguard will freak out because of this?" he asked in between his laughs.

I didn't say anything but kept standing there with crossed arms. He kept the bottle aside and moved towards me. He kept his hands on the kitchen counter on either sides of me. I was feeling tickling sensation inside my stomach thinking what was he going to do. I denied to react as he moved his face closer to mine.

"Okay! I got scared. Fine?" he asked when his face was only a mere inches away from mine.

Huh... He thinks that I'm a baby who don't understand things? I'm a grown up girl.

"Don't lie! I'm not stupid." I said.

"Okay! I didn't get scared. Now fine?" he asked.

I just rolled my eyes at that. He chuckled as he snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me to him. My hands directly landed on his chest while butterflies started doing bhangra in my stomach.

"Why did you come here?" he asked pushing my hair back from my face with his free hand.

"Why? I can't come to meet my secret boyfriend?" I asked lifting my eyebrows up.

"Yes, you can! Anytime! But everytime, you have to give a gift to your secret boyfriend." he said smirking.

"Oh! You want me to buy gifts for you. If you want gift for every time I visit you then I guess I'm going to come on footpath soon." I said in a serious tone.

He laughed at that.

He looks so good when he laughs. His eyes half closed and his face turns reddish when he laughs for a quite long time. How can just a laugh make him look so gorgeous and irresistible? God!

"I don't want any costly gift." he said when he was done laughing.

"Then?" I asked confused.

"You're so cute and innocent." he said pecking on the tip of my nose.

"A kiss will do, for every visit." he said winking at me while a naughty smile was playing on his lips.

I blushed hard at that. A few days ago, I didn't even think that he must be having this side also. It must have been very stupid of me to imagine him like this. You can't blame me for that. His expressions were always hard as rock.

"Oh I see!" I said as I circled my hands around his neck.

"And you already visited me today and I want my gift." he said as he moved his face closer to mine to capture my lips but I turned my face and his lips landed on my cheek.

He looked at me with wide eyes. I laughed at that.

"You said a kiss. You didn't say that a kiss on lips." I said smirking.

"This is not a kiss." he whinned like a child.

"A kiss is a kiss darling." I said chuckling as I came out of his grip.

He looked at me with a pouted face. I couldn't help but stare him. He was looking cute.

I picked up an apple from the fruits basket and hopped upon the kitchen counter. I was about to take a bite but Laksh snatched it out of my hands. I looked at him shocked. He moved towards the sink and washed the apple. He came back to me and gave it to me. I smiled at that. He took a stool and sat in front of me.

We kept talking and enjoying each other's company. We talked about our school life, college life or any other random thing. Laksh told me that he's very intersted in sports, more in volleyball and this job of a bodyguard has become his passion now. After about one hour, I left for my house. I didn't want to but I had to. I just love being with him.

I was in my room, getting ready for Yash's wedding. I wore the lehenga my designer designed for me. I liked it a lot. She did a great job.

I like being simple and natural so I didn't call any make-up artist. I was getting ready myself. I left my hair free with soft curls at the end and put on very light make-up. I turned towards the door as someone knocked on it.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Ragini, are you ready?" came Laksh's voice from the other side.

I will be going to the venue with Laksh. Mom and dad will come there directly from their office. We're going early to see the arrangements and all as Yash wants us to. He don't have a family so we're his only family. Me, Laksh and Ryan are taking care of everything with him. We did all the preparations of his wedding. He's having a simple wedding with just close friends and a few relatives of the bride. He's the sweetest guy I've ever met and he treats me like his little sister.

"Yeah..." I answered as I remembered that Laksh was at the door.

The door got open and he entered inside. He was wearing a navy blue colored suit which was fitting his well built body perfectly. There was a baby pink shirt under the suit jacket and he wasn't wearing any tie today. His hair were styled greatly with the help of gel. He was looking amazingly handsome and not to forget, very different from his usual bodyguard look. I couldn't divert my eyes from him.

He entered inside with his eyes fixed on me. He stopped in front of me.

"You're looking beautiful." he said without blinking his eyes. I blushed at the compliment.

"Thank you! You too looking great!" I said smiling at him.

"Thank you to you too..." he said, not taking his eyes off my face.

"Uhm... Let's go!" I said as I looked around for my clutch.

"Wait..." he said.

I looked at him confused. He held my hand and pulled me to him.

"Don't mess up my hair." he said before capturing my lips.

I widened my eyes at first but then started responding back as I circled my hands around his neck. One of his hands moved to my waist. I shivered when his rough and cold hand came in contact with my bare waist. He was pulling me to him as much as possible. I started moving my hand to his hair when he growled in between the kiss. I giggled inwardly as I pulled my hand back to his neck. The kiss we shared on our date was our last kiss. We broke the kiss while panting heavily.

"You ruined my lipstick." I said as I traced my thumb on his lower lip which was having my lipstick on it.

"Couldn't stop myself." he said chuckling.

I blushed deeply as I pushed him towards the washroom. He left to clean his face while I turned to the mirror to fix my lipstick again. He came out after a while and we left for the venue. We kept talking non stop in the car and we were getting to know each other better. He parked the car in the parking lot of the marriage hall. Both of us got out of the car and started moving inside. It was late evening and preparations were still going on.

"I'll look at the decorations. You check the caterers." I said turning to Laksh.

"No! We're going to check everything together." he declared.

I gave him a confused look at that. It'll be easier if we'll check everything separately.

"I don't want anyone ogling at you." he said looking around.

I also started looking around and realised that mostly the decorators and other people who were doing different arrangements were males. I couldn't help but smile at that. My boyfriend is getting possessive!

"Fine!" I said giggling and both of us started looking at the arrangements.

He was just moving with me. While I was busy checking the arrangements, he was busy staring me, making it difficult for me to focus and not to blush. I was just pushing his face away when no one was looking. But he would turn his face to me the very next second.

"Put a flower vase and tissue papers on this table." I said pointing to the empty table.

The man nodded and left. I then turned to look at Laksh.

"Stop staring." I said.

"I will not." he said stubbornly.

"Why not?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"I like staring you." he said looking into my eyes and then winked.

I shook my head with a smile as we started moving to the food section.

After about two hours, guests started arriving and the hall started crowding. Yash also came after sometime. He came towards us. I hugged him and he reciprocated.

"Looking great, Mr groom!" I said.

"You too." he said smiling at me.

Laksh also hugged him. Just then Ryan came with my parents.

"God! They were not ready to leave the office. I thought I'll miss the wedding." said Ryan as soon as he came towards us.

"You were worried about missing my wedding or the food?" asked Yash crossing his arms around his chest.

All of us chuckled as Ryan glared him.

"Na, mujhe bakra halaal hote hue dekhna hai." said Ryan smirking.

Yash frowned at that. The bride and her family also came after sometime and the wedding rituals started.

"I'll be back in a while. Let me test the food. I don't trust this Yash and his choices." said Ryan making faces.

We rolled our eyes as he left for the food section. I then looked around for my parents and found them sitting at a table with another couple.

"I'll be right back." I said to Laksh.

He nodded and I moved towards my parents. They smiled looking at me.

"My princess is looking so beautiful." dad said as he smiled at me.

I smiled back as I looked at mom. She also said the same. I then looked at the couple sitting in front of them.

"So Vijay, she's my beautiful daughter Ragini, about whom I was talking. The one who's lighting our lives." said dad introducing me to the man who was maybe in his late forties.

"Yeah, she's really pretty. Nice to meet you beta." said the man.

The woman also complimented me. I gave the couple a warm smile in return.

"Ragu, they're Mr Viijay Sehgal and his wife. Vijay is my old friend. They were living in London from a few years. Only a few weeks ago they've come back and settled in India again. We wanted to meet so I invited them here." dad told me.

"Oh! That's great!" I said.

Just then my eyes fell on Laksh who was looking here and there, getting bored. He was standing leaning to a pillar.

"Please continue. I'll excuse myself now." I said politely and escaped from them.

I moved towards Laksh and stood in front of him.

"Feeling bored?" I asked him.

He looked at me and nodded. I chuckled at that. Both of us then made our way to a table in the corner, away from the eyes of my parents and other people who knows me, hehe...

I was looking at the bride and groom who were taking the seven vows around the agni. I met Yash's fiance Priya a few days back. She's really a nice girl. She'll be a great life partner for him and will give him the love he deserves.

I looked at Laksh as he held my hand in his and rested our hands on his thigh. He was playing with my fingers while his other hand was elbowed on the table and his head was on his hand. His eyes were looking sleepy. I looked for the time in my phone. It was showing eleven.

"Are you tired?" I asked.

He lifted his eyes from our entangled hands to me.

"Hmm... A little. I slept late yesterday and got up early today because I had to meet my family. I went to my house in the morning. It's almost one and half hour from your house. My parents and devil sister didn't let me take rest for a second. They were talking non stop and were asking me thousands of questions about how I'm doing and why don't I come home more often. They sees me in weeks. They said that I was there to spend time with them not to take rest. I came back in afternoon and got ready and then we're here. And now, I guess we're going to stay awake all the night." he said yawning.

I started moving my free hand in his hair. It's been more than a month that he's my bodyguard. I was attracted to him from the very first day and with every passing day, I started liking him more and more but didn't admit because he was my bodyguard and I was into my 'I don't like my bodyguards' philosophy'. His case is also almost similar to mine. Things took a turn from the day when I went to his room to cut his suit into pieces. Haha... With that encounter, our feelings started growing more. Though, we're boyfriend girlfriend from five days only but we've got closer and comfortable in this one month. So it doesn't seem that we've just got into a new relationship.

"You're spoiling my hair." he said lazily.

I was about to stop when he said.

"But I like it." he said smiling.

I smiled back at that and now I think that it's turning into something more than just attraction and liking.
