🔥Appearance: Kagero is certainly one to stand out in crowds, with his imposing height and muscular build. He has sharp features and pointed ears, with deep crimson scales scattered almost like freckles that especially congregate around his forehead and eyes. He has two small horns on his forehead along with two larger, curved horns that travel towards the back of his head. His eyes are a fiery shade of golden-orange, with cat-like pupils that grow and shrink depending on the lighting. His hair is wavy, shoulder length and has a natural gradient, fading from a white shade to a dark grey at the tips, usually bound back in a ponytail. On his back sits a large pair of dark red dragon wings with a darker orange membrane. Across the rest of his body are those patches of dark crimson scales that mostly gather around his wings as well as his arms. His hands are plated in red scales with lighter orange scales fingertips and claws. He also has a long, scaled tail with small spikes atop it that ends in a sharp point. He has a circular scar around his lower neck, almost as if it were made by a collar...

🀄Quirk Name: Typhon

🀄Quirk Type: Mutant

🀄Quirk Abilities: Typhon, named for the fearsome mythological dragon, is a quirk that gives its user the traits of a powerful dragon, including scales, horns, wings and a tail. These scales permenantly coat portions of the user's body and are impervious to burns along with being as durable as armor. The user is also granted the enhanced senses of a dragon, such as the long fangs and jaw strength for a powerful bite, enhanced overall strength and speed as well as minor pyrokinesis.

🀄Quirk Drawbacks: Portions of the user's skin that are not covered with scales or protection are still as vulnerable to injury as the average human. The user's stomach is especially vulnerable to injury due to being so soft and with the least amount of scales present. The user also has extremely high metabolism to stabilize such supernatural strength and has to maintain a hearty diet high in protein. While the user is able to breathe fire to some degree, this ability is limited due to their insides being susceptable to burns. If the user overuses the manipulation of flames, they will suffer from a sore throat that will worsen the more they exceed their limits until they eventually burn away their vocal cords. The user cannot fly for extended periods due to the strain on their wings sustaining their weight in the air. The user is also technically somewhat cold-blooded and is significantly hindered during cold weather, being unable to use their flames effectively and experiences lethargy.

❣Personality: People have their preconcieved notions about what to expect from someone with a draconic quirk. Complete stereotypes such as being loud, crass, hot tempered and too vain to be truly intelligent. Kagero fits almost none of those bills. While he can be rather loud and extroverted, this only occurs when he doesn't realize his own volume at times. He's a fairly social individual, with an uncanny amount of patience for being supposedly written off as a hothead, though there are certain things he will not tolerate. On the surface, he seems sweet if a little bit excitable at times. However, beneath that polite exterior lies something far darker. He is someone who will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals, a fierce determination unlike any other. He never truly forgets those who wrong him or stand in his way, as he has a burning sense of vengeance inside. While rather prideful, his pride won't keep him from getting his hands dirty or using violence to get his way if nessecary, even if he prefers pretty words. He is methodical in his deeds and rarely is a word or an act of violence the result of impulse, a dangerous combination with others assuming he's simply another average tempermental dragon.

❣Affiliations: None in particular, though he has had a few encounters with the League. He doesn't like the idea of working underneath someone due to his own insecurities, so he often takes charge of low level crooks and turns them into dangerous criminals under his wing.

🔥Backstory:
Kagero, due to unknown circumstances, had to be abandoned by his biological family at birth. Luckily, shortly afterwards, he was adopted by a lovely quirkless couple and their families, the Mochizuki clan. Sadly, the couple were unable to have children of their own and treated Kagero as their own despite his obvious Mutant quirk.

Others in their neighborhood, however, were not so kind. While some places are slowly becoming more tolerant of individuals with Mutant and 'Villainous' quirks, many other places did not. They frowned upon such powers, and Kagero was no exception. Other children often gave him a hard time for his obvious traits like his scales and claws, calling him a monster. It would not have been so hard had some parents not joined in on Kagero's isolation by telling their children to not play with him, that he could easily hurt them. Parents who were not used to dealing with quirks like Kagero's only served to worsen the boy's self esteem. Though, he never said anything to his family out of fear, he thought it would cause drama and make his family lose their lifelong friends.

One incident in particular at his daycare would traumatize him horribly. During a bout of playfulness around the age of 4, Kagero had gotten too rough with another child and ended up hurting them by accident. The child, naturally, forgave him since he didn't mean to. The instructor did not. No matter how much Kagero insisted it was an accident, she didn't believe him. This combined with some accidental fires while he was still working on controlling his quirk had made her punish him for the misbehavior. Badly. In order to keep Kagero from biting or causing any more fires, he was muzzled for the rest of the day and only released once it was time for him to go home. In a later incident, he was even collared and chained to a post to keep him from running around chasing('terrorizing', supposedly, but he was again only playing. His struggling to escape is what gave him that ringed scar around his neck).

Naturally, his parents were furious when they noticed their child come home with that scar. Once they were able to, they had him transferred out immediately, and moved to a different prefecture that was more accepting.

Things got better, at least, physically. While Kagero was no longer physically abused, kids were still kids and many still berated him for his animalistic traits. His trauma, paired with his growing bitterness, had caused him to lash out more at others in defense. He was in pain for so long, and nobody came to save him except for his parents. The heroes did nothing to really help with the social injustice, they were too busy flaunting and showing off to really stop and help where it mattered. He lost faith in hero society, with the only pro hero he truly trusted being Ryukyu. She had a somewhat similar quirk to his, and he admired how genuine she was compared to others.

His family was never rich, they found it hard to find work as a quirkless couple and often worked themselves to the bone to sustain themselves. Again, heroes had done nothing to actually help those in need, nothing to help those with unconventional quirks or the quirkless. They were so busy fighting lowlives that they rarely did a thing to help society as a whole. Out of desperation and hatred, Kagero had begun to turn to crime to provide for the people he cared about.

And now as a senior in high school, he has become a respected crook in the criminal underbelly of Mustuafu. And one of the more dangerous people that the heroes so desperately search for.
