Tyler Joseph, the flower who bloomed, was dead.

He was in the grave.

He succumbed to the cold waters of his mother when she thrust him into the utter darkness of death.

His blood ran cold.

Lord Joshua Dun, the leader of Trench, held his dead flower child in his arms after discovering his body in the water.

Behind his dead eyes, Tyler could see his beloved husband crying. He saw his pain, but could do nothing to stop it.

He saw Jenna in tears, his friends in awe, and the entire clan in mourning.

Concealed in a coffined tomb, Tyler lay in comatose silence and was never to awaken again. Everyone in Trench believed Ender Mastel and Wren Bondarenko conspired and killed him.

But, they were wrong.

The dead flower blossomed from the grave when Josh bestowed a kiss of true love upon him. With this kiss, it broke the curse that saved Tyler's flowered soul from the brink of death.

Now, Josh took Tyler's life into his own and the young flower became his flowered bride, ruler of the flower fields, and heir to Trench.

This marriage sealed their love and created a powerful bond that will aid them against the enemy of Trench.

Joshua Dun entered the council tent and took a seat on his throne; facing the brimstone fire. It had been a year since he married Tyler and the clan had grown stronger and prosperous.

With this new year, new lives were formed. Josh's must trusted servants, Makaiah Yurkovich and his wife Linh Tomanova Yurkovich, are expecting a child.

Aries Soroka and his wife Olene Soroka birthed a beautiful daughter a year prior to Linh's pregnancy. Their little daughter was named Alysane, and she is promised to marry Kai and Linh's child.

After Olene gave birth and Linh got pregnant, the two families made a pact to betroth their children to preserve the legacy of Trench. This pact was sealed by the covenant words of their leader.

Since it had been a year since Ari and Olene got married, Josh decided to hold a celebration for their anniversary. He assigned Kai and Linh to make the preparations.

At the same time, it had also been a year since Josh entered the covenant of marriage with his beloved flowered husband.

On that day when a meeting was scheduled, the Bandito council entered the tent. Josh awaited their arrival on his throne.

The first to arrive was Kai and his wife, who was holding her pregnant belly with her hand. Linh was 9 months along and it was only a matter of time until her child would be born.

Jenna Black led the couple into the council tent. As of the new year, the mighty blonde Bandito woman continues to maintain her role as female second in command to Josh.

She had also been promoted to Tyler's personal bodyguard. It was a position she took very seriously.

Once Kai and Linh were introduced to Josh and the other council members, the couple took a seat on the right side of their leader. Jenna went back and led in the next Bandito couple: Ari and Olene.

When they walked in, Olene was holding her daughter Alysane in her arms. The little girl glowed among the people with her golden hair she inherited from her mother and brown eyes from her father.

Whispers spread across the camp that Alysane would grow up to be a beautiful young woman, which is what Ari and Olene constantly prayed for.

The couple sat on the left side of Josh. Little Alysane reached her hands towards her parents' leader, which brought a bright happy smile to the Banditos' face.

This little girl wad part of a legacy that is determined to live on.

Finally, when all of the council members were seated, Jenna faced her leader to announce the last arrival to the meeting.

"Members of the council, may I present our flower lord, Tyler Joseph, the husband of our leader."

When she said those words, the council members rose to their feet. Josh stood from his throne; anticipating to see his bride, the flower boy he loved and married.

The boy he saved from the grasp of death.

After a few long minutes, a gust of blooming wind swept into the council tent with yellow flower petals.

Tyler Joseph had arrived.

As he walked into the council tent, the people stood in respect to their heir, which they've yet to receive. They took notice of how the young boy looked.

He was beautiful, dressed in a black dress with a sunflower kimono. He also dawned a flower crown that rested upon his brunette hair.

Many of the Bandito folk referred to Tyler as a songbird who ruled the flower fields with love, as his voice gave life to every flower that blossomed.

Tyler Joseph rose from the soils of the garden and made the Banditos feel alive.

The flower walked among the council members and made his way up to his husband's throne. Once he faced him, he bowed before him. Josh bowed back to his husband and kissed his hand.

"My flowered bride." Josh said.

"My lord husband." Tyler replied.

Many in the council knew of Tyler and Josh's marriage, but most did not know of the true purpose of the marriage. Josh married Tyler for love, but also to make him his heir.

The people are going to hear that announcement very soon.

After Tyler took a seat next to his lord husband, Josh ordered two of his Bandito guards to light the brimstone fire; signaling the meeting to begin.

Kai let go of his wife's hand and stood among the Banditos at the center of the council tent.

"Banditos of Trench, we have prospered through a very tremendous year. Our leader is now married and our clan is growing, and we intend to continue our strong legacy by celebrating the marriage of Ari and Olene Soroka, and the birth of their beautiful daughter Alysane."

The council members clapped, including Josh and his husband. Ari and Olene smiled and nodded in gratitude. Little Alysane made happy sounds, which made the people chuckle.

When the clapping seized, Kai turned to face his leader.

"Lord Josh, when do you suppose we plan this occasion?"

Josh was content with whatever his people decided. He only wanted his loyal Banditos to be happy.

"Whatever you decide is best." Josh replied. "I just want you both to be merry, as I always want for my people."

Kai bowed to his leader.

"Your wish is my command, my lord."

The Bandito turned back to his people.

"We will move forward with the preparations. With Ari and Olene's agreement, we shall celebrate in 3 days time."

Josh gave an approving nod. This was perfect, as it gave him plenty of time to plan the announcement of his flowered husband's legitimacy to the Trench throne.

When Ari and Olene agreed to the plan, the meeting was adjourned.

The Banditos walked out of the council tent and headed into the camp. Kai took his exhausted wife into the care of Rani, Fauna, Ilse, and Shiloh, who were chosen to assist Linh when the time comes to birth.

Ari and Olene carried their little daughter into the camp. Petruso and Dasha came to their side and greeted them with their little children: Lilya and Maks.

Josh and Tyler walked out of the council tent with their hands together. They observed their people as they went along their daily routines, which brought warmness and joy into the hearts of the couple.

In Josh's eyes, Dema would not stand a chance against the powerful clan that united together.

By proclaiming his flowered husband as heir of Trench, it was the first step of defeating the enemy. It was the only way to truly unite the Banditos for the future battle to save their homeland.

we are finally here! the final book of the trench series has officially started! im so excited to begin this story and conclude this series!
