Rahul took prince to his bedroom. He tried to contain his emotions before Ana, but once he was alone with prince, he let them go.

Prince was sitting on his bed and Rahul kneeled down in front of him. He kissed both his tiny hands and when he touched his cheek, he remembered Ria hitting him and his inability to protect him. He didn't realize, he was crying and his tears hit prince's thigh.

"I am sorry prince, I couldn't protect you. I failed you as a parent, but I promise, I will take care of you. I love you"

"Ssh .. Idata ...don't cry ... don't cry ... I love you too." Prince pulled Rahul's head into his lap and started consoling him, even though he didn’t fully understand Rahul's statements. He thought Rahul missed him and was sad.

They both held each other for some time and then Rahul picked him up and hugged him, kissing his cheeks and his forehead. It was the happiest day of his life, holding his son and having Ana back in the mansion with him.

He knew, he need to be careful with his emotions around prince, till he can win over Ana. He was still afraid Ana might run away, if she feels, anyone is going to take away prince from her. He realized it was the main reason, she never tried to find out about prince's father.

He stocked on prince's favorite chocolates and gave him to celebrate their union. Prince bit into his chocolate and then realized his manners and offered Rahul a bite. They were Rahul's favorite too. Both of them sat down and feasted on chocolates. Rahul was ready to face the world again, feeling stronger with his son by his side.

He knew he had to make some calls and felt very tensed about it. He cannot keep Mandy in the dark anymore. She cooperated with him, without asking any questions and probably knows by now, that Ana is home and will fly back immediately from Florida. He had to stop her from coming back. He needs Ana to be alone with him, so that he can work on building trust between them. He decided to ask Mandy to extend her vacation, till things get sorted out.

Prince was still in his lap, eating chocolate. He had chocolate all over his face and was looking really cute, that Rahul decided to leave him like that. He called Neha on the video conference system in his bedroom.

The huge video screen in his room lit up with their image and started dialing Neha's Florida IP address. Luckily for him, Neha and Mandy were in the same bedroom talking.

"Hey guys ..." Rahul answered as soon as the system connected.

"Hey! ... OMG! Ana is back." Neha screamed looking at prince in Rahul's lap.

"Thank God! Where is Ana? I don't see her. OMG! Look how cute he looks." Mandy came forward looking closely at the video screen.

"Mandy! " Prince screamed pointing her to Rahul

"Ana is in her room. She just came home and probably searching for you." Rahul told them.

"Oh! You didn't tell her, I am in Florida?" Mandy questioned him.

"No, not yet. I need a favor from both of you."

"Sure Rahul, go ahead" Mandy replied.

"You need to continue your stay indefinitely in Florida, till I give you all clear to return. Also you cannot tell Ana anything about our previous conversation or this conversation. She is going to call you and ask questions. Just tell her that you need to help Neha and extending your vacation."

"Ok sure, will do. But I need to know what is going on?" Mandy and Neha, looked at Rahul, surprised at his request. He never asked for favors, so something big was cooking and they need to know.

"I can tell you, but am not sure, if you guys can handle it .." Rahul wasn't sure, if it was wise to share it on a video call.

"No, you have to tell. I can take any news, but can't bear this tension of not knowing what is going on." Mandy replied firmly. She closed her eyes and prayed to God, to give her strength.

"Ok, here I go. I am really excited and want you guys to listen carefully."

"Enough with the suspense, just go ahead." Neha screamed.

"Ok .. ok. I , Rahul Shah, today .. am really proud ... to  introduce you to my son, your grandson and future heir to Shah empire .... Charlie Shah ... also popularly known as prince." He lifted prince up for a close shot. Prince started giggling at the attention he was receiving. He knew, they were talking about him, but didn't understand the details.

"What? .... wait! ... what? ... how is that even possible?" Both of them screamed. Mandy almost clutched her heart and her breathing became heavy.

"I will tell you the details, but first digest the news and get some air." He asked Neha to get some water for Mandy and let her recover from the news.

After few minutes Mandy and Neha recovered and sat in front of the video monitor, holding hands, ready to hear the details.

Rahul explained, how he found out that Ana was his sweetheart and the full story in detail. He didn't however give details about his blackmail and how he lured her back to mansion. He was sure, Mandy and Neha, wouldn't agree with his methods.

"So, as you know now, I did talk to experts in this field and I need to work on trust issues, before I tell Ana the truth, so I need some privacy to make it happen. You can't tell this to anyone, till I convince Ana. This has to remain a secret." He reiterated, to make sure they understood.

Mandy and Neha, couldn't stop tearing up, after hearing the entire story. It was the best news, they could ever imagine.

"I felt it and kind of knew it. Whenever I saw prince, I had the feeling, that it was you. You looked the same at his age. Oh! I want to hold him now. I can't wait Rahul. Sorry, I promised you earlier, but now, it is torture, not to be with my grandson."

"Common Ma, you can't go back on your word. We can't loose Ana again, it's too risky."

"Rahul, I promise, we will keep your secret and Ma is going to stay here with me, till you and Ana get together. But you can bring prince and Ana here, for a day or two, this weekend. We won't say or do anything to make her doubt us, but Ma will get a chance to enjoy with prince."

"Ok, I can do that. Don't tell Ana about the trip. I will make it a surprise."

Just then Mandy's phone started ringing. Neha looked at it .., "Its Ana, we will talk to you later Rahul. Thanks for the sweet news. Bye"

Rahul disconnected the link and then took prince out to play some golf.

Ana sat in front of Ahmed as he started narrating the events after Ana left the mansion. Ana couldn't believe the things she was hearing.

"What! ... really? ... Rahul was mad at Ria for hitting prince?" She asked again to reconfirm.

"Yes, Ana! He marched like a madman towards Ria's room."

She knew Rahul liked prince a lot, but hearing his reaction, when he came to know Ria hit prince, her heart leapt with joy. She knew Rahul had a kind heart.

"What happened then?"

"I don't know what happened inside the room, but he came out and went straight into his office and cancelled the marriage."

"OMG!  What are you saying? " Ana was shocked and covered her mouth completely surprised.

"True, the marriage was cancelled.  Rumor is that Ria cried for hours and tried to convince Rahul to change his mind, but he didn't budge."

"I can't believe he cancelled his marriage over that incident."

"I told you, he is a man of principles. He will never allow hurting a child go unpunished."

"What happened after that?"

"Nothing, Ria left the mansion. I heard Rahul sent Miso to search for you. Did he find you and bring you back? "

"No, no one found me. I don't think anyone was looking for me. I came back on my own. Where was Rahul?" She replied carefully, avoiding the blackmail part.

"Rahul left the same day and came back only this morning. He was probably at his Central Park flat. Mandy stayed back in Florida. The whole house was a dead zone until you came back today."

"Thanks for the update, Ahmed. I need to check on prince" Ana replied and left quickly to check on prince.

She moved away from Ahmed quickly to hide her feelings. It was too much for her to digest. Last twenty four hours, her life has been moving in a see-saw fashion, between hell and heaven.

She could feel the glow in her heart and face, on hearing the news about the marriage being cancelled. She felt like someone magically killed the dementors eating her soul and filled her with new life and energy.

The same Rahul, who was a monster in the morning blackmailing her, now suddenly looked like an angel. She tried to figure out the reason behind the blackmail with the new information she had now.

"If Rahul didn't marry Ria, then why is he taking revenge on me? Maybe because his marriage got cancelled because of me or is he trying to lure back Ria by showing her his revenge? Or is he doing this because I rejected him earlier? I still can't rely on him. I can't let my guard down. He kicked me out twice, without giving me any chance to explain. He can do it again. There is something behind this contract and I need to find it. I need to talk to Mandy and get more information. There must also be some reason for her to stay behind in Florida. Also I can't see Miso anywhere, though I have a feeling that he is around me somewhere, watching me. He should have some answers." Ana walked to her room slowly thinking about her situation.

She dialed Mandy's number and heard it ringing on the other side.
