The next day, I woke up, feeling the weight of Jungkook's strong arm around my waist. He was snuggled close to me and was cuddling me all night. He was still asleep, eyes closed and thin lips slightly opened.

Feeling the urge to pee, I touched his face to wake him up. My body is so weak, and I need his help.

"JK," I whispered, touching his handsome face with my fingers. "Bangtan sonyeondan hwanggeum maknae Jeon Jung Kook." I chanted softly, trying not to startle him in his sleep.

His eyes opened and blinked at me sleepily, but then got up immediately with a worried face. "You need anything, Shanshan?"

"Y-yeah, sorry, I want to use the toilet," I answered.

"Oh, let me help you," he yawned and went to me, putting his arm beneath my legs and the other on my shoulder, then lifted me. "You're obviously losing weight." He commented, judging from the way he carried me effortlessly.

I put my arms around his neck and made a sad pout. He carried me towards the toilet and waited outside for me to finish my business. After that, he sat me on the counter and offered to brush my teeth, even washing my face.

"From now on, let me do everything for you. I want to do everything for you while we have the chance," he said while wiping my face with a towel. "I can even help you take a bath." He winked at me.

I hit his chest. "You're proving that you're a real pervert."

He grinned and leaned on my ears. "Only for you," he whispered, making me punch him more. "Agh! I'm just kidding." He took my hands and massaged them while chuckling at me. "How can you hit me that hard while you are sick, hm?"

"Serves you right." I gave him a smirk.

He pecked my lips, catching me off guard.

"That surprised you, isn't it?" He chuckled at my surprised reaction. "Serves you right."

Smartass.

I pulled his face and kissed him, making him surprised. I wanted to confess more. "I love you so much, Jeon Jungkook. I want to spend more time with you. I- I want to... marry you and have kids with you-"

"You want to have kids with me?" He looked at me with wide eyes while he smiled from ear to ear, making me confused.

"Is... is it... wrong? Don't you want it?" I asked anxiously.

"No, I mean-hmm- we can do it right now!"

Whoaaaa. I can't believe this guy. He's so quick-witted when it comes to dirty things. I couldn't help but pout.

"What I mean is in the future," I explained. I sighed at my idiot boyfriend, looking disappointed. "Hayoohh."

He tried to suppress himself and pursed his lips together. " I'm sorry. Please continue."

"You already ruined my mood. I was trying to confess to you in a right way," I snorted. The words I wanted to tell him already drained down the sink, and I lost the excitement to tell him. "Your dirty mind pissed me off!"

"Did I? Sorrrryyyyy." He patted me on the head and tried to soothe me. "Oh, come on, Shanshan... you want to have kids with me and...? How many do you want? Two? Three? Or maybe we can have ten!"

I slapped his hand away and crossed my arms. "Forget it. What I wanted to say is that I want to get healthy for those things to happen. So I agreed to Mark about meeting this doctor."

"You... what?" He asked, the words still sinking in his mind. "Do you mean Mark searched for a doctor to heal you? Is... is it possible? Can the doctor bring you back to your healthy body?"

I smiled at him. "We'll talk about that after breakfast. First," I stretched, "let's go."

"To-to bed?" He asked innocently, yet I knew he was being playful.

"Stop kidding me. To the dining room, of course. We have to meet Lily-noona and Min Ho for breakfast."

Everyone was gathered around the dining table, with Shanshan sitting at the middle. I was sitting beside Lily while Jungkook and Roger sat across us.

Since last night, I planned something for Lily, but right now, I was feeling nervous about it. After Lily pushed me out of her room, I felt like today is the right time to ask her out.

"Where have you been yesterday, Roger? I heard that you were out all day," Shanshan asked her stepbrother while we ate.

"I didn't go anywhere." Shanshan's younger brother answered.

"Roger." Shanshan called again.

This time, he sighed and answered. "I went to see Roald in jail."

We all looked up at him. He stared back at us.

"He's my brother no matter what, you know," he rolled his eyes and continued to eat.

"Why didn't you tell me you're visiting him?"

"Ahh, don't think anything wrong about it, Shanshan. I just went to tell him that he should at least learn a lesson in jail and reflect on what he did. He enjoyed his life as a carefree CEO, thinking that everything happens the way he wanted, and now he lost everything."

Shanshan put her hand on her forehead before looking at Roger to speak. "I understand that you still care for your brother. I trust you, Roger. But next time you should tell me about it. Your brother's case is not finalized yet, and he can still have the power to influence you and escape."

"Yeah and next time, call your sister 'noona'," Jungkook swooped in, making his voice sound demanding.

Roger stopped eating and looked at Jungkook with a frown. "Why?"

"She's older than you, be polite."

"We are in America right now, mister." The younger reminded.

Jungkook crossed his arms, not wanting to lower his pride for the teenager. "You grew up with her. You should-

"You're dating my sister, aren't you?"

The sudden question made Shanshan choke on her food. Lily and I both turned our heads to them, already suspicious because we learned that he spent the night in Shanshan's room.

"I love your STEP-sister," he answered, emphasizing the word 'step.'

Roger looked at him with mockery. "I asked if you're dating her or not-"

"Yes I'm dating her." Jungkook intertwined his fingers with Shanshan's and lifted them up. "Is there any problem with it?"

"There is!" Roger anf Lily replied at the same time, making both of them surprised.

"W-what do you mean?" Shanshan pouted at us. "Don't you want us to be together?"

"First of all, you didn't tell me. I'm your best friend! You should have gossiped about it to me first!" Lily yelled and pointed at her with a fork.

"Unnie, we only started last night-"

"LAST NIGHT??!" Lily literally stood up and screamed. "Did you- did you-"

"Aghhh! I didn't do anything to her. We just cuddled, that's all!" Jungkook defended. "Now sit down."

Lily dropped herself heavily on her chair. She got too worked out that she got stressed. "Really..."

"Jungkookah, are you..." I paused in the middle of my sentence. I wanted to ask him if he's sure about it. He knew that Shanshan would die soon.

"I know what you're thinking, hyung. But no matter what happens, I'm... willing to accept it," JK looked at Shanshan and made a smile.

"Thank you," Shanshan mouthed at him and put her hand over their hands.

"You're not the only ones here," Roger mumbled before forking a piece of meat.

"And you," Jungkook turned his head to Roger while they took their hands away from each other. " What's your issue?"

"Nothing much. I just wanna say Mark is better for her. I know Mark's personality. He's even more handsome than you."

I giggled at the kid's direct comment.

"Ehhhh, kid. But if we're going to choose sides, we vote for Jungkook," Lily chuckled at him.

Jungkook looked at Shanshan's stepbrother, looking so done. "Geuleul ttaelyeoya Hana?" ("Should I punch him?")

Shanshan elbowed him. "Don't be offended just because of a kid's comment."

"Ah! You don't have to hit me," Jungkook whined.

While the two couples argued, I glanced at Lily. She was watching at them with a grin.

Just then, a maid entered the room, holding a large bouquet of roses. "Did- did anyone of you order this flower? It isn't from the two siblings, though."

"Aw. Maybe it was delivered to the wrong address!" Lily said, clasping her hands. "But awww, the roses look beautiful, though."

"Oh! It was for you." The maid pulled out a card and gave it to her.

"Really? What? Then where's it from? Whoah, this is so sweet!"

Shanshan looked at me with a proud smile. "I think it's from Min Ho."

They all looked at me.

"I... yeah," I admitted.

I wanted to surprise Lily, and I was glad to see her reaction. I stood up from my seat and took the flowers, walking to Lily. "Lily you... you told me to confess to you in the right way. I'm sorry. I haven't been in love before, so I don't know how to express all my feelings towards you."

"You should have asked help from me," Jungkook murmured teasingly.

"Huh. Coming from a no-girlfriend-since-birth like you?" Shanshan sneered at him.

I just grinned at Jungkook. "I don't actually need your help."

Lily could not stop smiling as she looked at me softly.

"I thought that maybe asking you in front of everyone while Shanshan is still here would be the best moment. I fell in love with you at first sight and starting from that day, I have loved you. Your alluring smile and cheerful aura made me fall for you even more. Noona..." I looked at her.

Her eyes were gleaming with excitement and anticipation. Although I already knew her answer, I still asked.

"Will you be my girlfriend... and-and let me call you Lily from now on?"

The room grew silent for us to hear her answer.

"Yes!"

She hugged me, and I hugged her back, my cheeks immediately burning red! Finally, she's mine.

"Awwww, that was so sweet," Shanshan wiped a tear from her eyes. Although she looked sick, her spirit lifted. "I'm happy for both of you."

Jungkook, too, was clapping his hands while Roger was there furrowing his eyes with disgust.

"Why am I here?" I heard him whisper to himself, making me chuckle secretly.

"I can die now, knowing that both of you are couples," Shanshan said.

"What are you talking about? You're not going to die." Jungkook pouted.

Suddenly, another maid entered, interrupting the happy atmosphere.

"Sir Mark is here."
