"You trynna go skating tonight?" Janay asked while I laid on her bed.

I looked up from Netflix and gave her a crazy look. Key and I were spending the night.

"That's cuz Raymond ass bout to be there." Keyshawn said rolling her eyes.

I watched as Janay cheesed hard. She liked him and I could tell.

"You liiikkkkkeee him." I smirked at her and watched as she smiled even wider.

"Y-yeah. Him and I have been talking for a minute. He invited us." Janay said pointing to us.

"Wait! Is Darrin gonna be there?" I asked feeling angry and sad all over again.

I was ashamed to say it but I missed my bestfriend. No matter how long we've been ignoring each other, he was still my bestfriend.

"Probably. But I'll be good to show him what he's missing." Keyshawn smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"What am I possibly gonna wear?" I question.

Soon Janay and Keyshawn had me dressed in a crop top and ripped jeans. The short sleeved coral pink crop top  hugged my stomach. I thought I was showing too much fat.

"You look gorgeous. Don't worry about them." Janay said and i  smiled.

Broccoli by D.R.A.M played in the arena. People filled the staking ring. I could smell the popcorn and nachos a mile away.

We gave the guy our tickets to get our skates.

"All she wanna do is smoke dat broccoli." Janay sang as we tied our skates on our feet.

My eyes scanned the building. I had my glasses on. They were black and square. Raymond walked up to us smiling.

"Wassup Ray." I said giving him a smirk.

I nudged Janay and she blushed. He had her all shy for nothing.

"Y'all come on our side." Raymond cocked his head to the sides as we got up.

They had a table waiting for us. Of course Raymond and Janay say together. Keyshawn was with Reggie and Darrin sat with Tanisha.

I rolled my eyes and say on the other side of them. I watched as Tanisha rubbed all up on Darrin.

I shouldn't be jealous. I don't like him and he doesn't like me. He should be with a nice girl. Not her.

"I'm about to go skate. Have fun being lovey dovey." I said excusing myself from the table.

Keyshawn tried to pull me back but I didn't want to sit there. I don't understand why they invited me.

I swiftly skated across the polished hard wood floor. I had this look on my face. I was obviously feelin some type of way.

"Why that look." Darrin skated up beside me and I rolled my eyes.

"It's nothing. I'm sorry for pulling all that bullshit on you over the phone." I tucked my permed hair behind my ear.

He flashed me that smile that would make anygirls knees weak. I almost fell but I caught myself. I bit my lip as I looked at him.

"It's cool shawty." His smile made me melt. His eyes scanned my body and his eyes lit up.

Suddenly butterflies erupted in my stomach and I felt shy. I pulled on my crop top feeling some type of way.

"You shouldn't be wearing this." He said tugging on my crop top.

His fingers grazed my bare stomach and a tingling sensation was left behind.

Darrin and I walked to our houses together. I decided to go home afterwords and just come back to Janays house the next day.

I wanted to spend some more time with Darrin. I was nervous being with Darrin again.

"I'm surprised you didn't fall on ya ass." I said breaking the tension that was between us.

"Shut up. I know I can skate." He said laughing.

"And you didn't tel me you could play basketball." I playfully punched his shoulder.

"Yeah. My bad." He flashed his perfect smile again.

We walked up to my front door. Everyone was sleep. I used my key and opened the door until Darrin pulled me back.

He engulfed me in a hug. His hands snuck around my waist and my hands flew around his neck.

"Bye." He said walking over to his house.

"He did what?!" Janay screamed with excitement.

I smiled as I sat in Janays room. It was ten in the morning when I had knocked on her door. Keyshawn was here too but she's half asleep.

"Are you serious right now?" Keyshawn asked and I gave her a look.

"What?"

"It's ten in the morning. Shut the hell up." Key said and went back to sleep.

"Anyway, I thought he was gonna kiss me or something but shit a hug is good too."

"Looks like you liiikkkke him." She mocked me from the other night.

Knocking on my window woke me up from my slumber. I looked at my alarm clock as the time read 2:03am.

I opened my window to see Darrin. He looked upset.

"What happened?" I asked as he entered my room.

"You ever wondered why I ain't fuck wit nobody when I first met you." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Because I was the only one that you talked to."

He laid next to me on my bed. I was about to fall back asleep when he said something.

"I knew you was gonna be the only one down for me forever." He spoke.

"What happened to Tanisha?" I knew this was gonna be about her.

"She just acting funny."

Right at that moment I knew my best friends heart was about to get broken.
