Niall POV
As we walked down across the street, I couldn't help but wonder why he was being so nice to me. I mean I dressed more different than most boys do. I wear nice and comfy sweaters and flower crowns. I don't know if he is doing this to be nice or he just is trying to do something else.

"Niall? We're here." I hear Zayn speak snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh uhm yeah okay this place looks nice." I manage to say. "Yeah this place has killer coffee and some great pastries." He says looking up at the little shop.

"Shall we go inside?" He asks, a playful smirk on his lips. I look up and he had his arm extended out to me. "U-umm sure." I say shyly linking my arm with his. "Let's then." He says and we walk inside arms still linked. As we approach the counter I see on of my best mates old girlfriends working the counter.

"Oh Niall! I haven't seen you in forever!" She exclaimed. "Oh um hey Dani." I say back. She comes around the counter and gives me a quick hug. When we part I see Zayn giving her a cold glare. "So, Niall who's this? Oh my goodness is it your boyfriend?" She asks in a rush. I turn red and quickly rack my brain for an acceptable answer.

"No um Danielle meet my friend Zayn." I say emphasizing friend. "Ohh I see what's happening here. Okay you two what do you wanna order?" She asks with a sly smirk directed at me. Gulp.

"Uh can I have a mocha with caramel and cinnamon? Niall what do you want?" Zayn asks and turns to me. "Uhm how about a white chocolate mocha Frappuccino iced?" I ask as politely as possible. "Okay then your total will be... 10.23." Danielle says sweetly. She shoots me a glance an obvious smirk on her face. I look over and Zayn was paying.

"Oh no Zayn it's fine I got it" I say reaching in my pocket. "No Niall I invited you therefore I pay." He says a smile on his face. I flush. "You didn't have to do that you know." I say as we walk to a table. "I was kind of the reason we were late for class. If I would've ignored Cole, we would be in class." I say lowering my head at the thought.

"Hey." Zayn says softly tucking his fingers under my chin forcing me to look at him.

"It's okay Niall. Besides I'm pretty sure I'm at least a little bit happy we're missing math. Gives me time to get to know you better." He says rubbing the back of his neck.

"U-uhm, my mate has a football game tonight and I was wondering if maybe you would want to uhm come with me?" He asks in a quiet voice.

Did I just hear that? Oh. My. Chuck. He just asked me to a football game?! Omg calm down Niall..

"of course! Uhm I mean sure.." I said quietly. This was gonna be awesome..
