There were twin brothers in Sam's new class, named Frank ( on the left ) & Casper ( on the right ). They both turned out to be really kind and friendly boys - & the first ones to talk to Sam, so when he made friends with them he had not just one - but Two new friends at Once! 

He was a new comer to their class & too shy to talk to anyone first before he got used to the new circumstances & felt safe enough in his new school, so he was spending all the breaks alone, reading some books & eating his lunch, when all of his classmates were playing outside, because they knew each other well.

It was just like that for his first 3 weeks in a new school, but on Monday, at the beginning of his 4th week there, his class twins noticed him sitting on a bench inside the school building & reading instead of going to the school playground with other kids, so they sat next to him on his left & right side & started a conversation. 'Hi, Newbie' said Frank. 'Hi' answered Sam looking up from his book. 'Why are you just sitting here & reading instead of playing with everyone?' was Frank's question. 'And why you haven't talked with anyone yet during the last 3 weeks you've been here?' asked Casper.

They both looked friendly & they were smiling at him, so Sam decided to answer both questions & continue the conversation. 'I'm sitting here & reading because I like to read' he answered Frank's question. 'And I haven't talked with anyone yet, because I'm shy & I don't know anyone in this school' was his answeres to Casper's question. 'Being shy sucks' said Frank. 'Yeah, it's a Waste of Time!' Casper agreed with his twin brother. 

'Maybe it is...' answered Sam 'But I can't do anything with it'. 'Of Course You Can!' said Frank happily. 'And don't you think it's high time to make some friends here?' asked Casper smiling at him 'You shouldn't spend the whole school year Alone!'.

'You're right' answered Sam. He closed his book & smiled back at the twins. 'So I guess we should start with introducing ourselves' said Casper. Sam nodded with a smile so Casper continued. 'I'm Casper - & that's my brother Frank' he said shaking Sam's hand. 'Nice to meet you' said Frank & also shook Sam's hand. 'Nice to meet you too, I'm Sam' answered Sam still smiling. 'Are you twins?' he asked them. 'Yes we are' answered Frank. 'How did you know that?' asked Casper.

'It's not hard to guess, you Dummy - just look at us!' Frank told his brother & they both giggled. 'We're the same age, in the same class, have the same last name & look alike - so Everyone sees that we are twins' said Frank and smiled. 

'I've noticed that... - And I have a Dummy!' answered Sam with a smile. 'Really?' asked both twins at the same time. They both looked interested. 'Yes, I have a real ventriloquist dummy at home' answered Sam 'My parents bought him to me as a birthday present for My 10th Birthday this year. 'When was it?' asked Frank. '9 days ago' answered Sam. 'Your Birthday was 9 Days Ago & you haven't Told us About It? - I Can't Believe That!' said Casper pretending to be shocked & disappointed about the news he heard in a funny way, so Sam & Frank laughed.

'My brother is Right!' said Frank smiling wide 'We couldn't be at Your Birthday Party - so We must make an After Party for You!'. 'That's Right!' Casper called cheerfully. 'You really think it's a good idea?' asked Sam. 'No, we don't...' answered Frank 'We think it's a GREAT IDEA!'. 'That's Right!' Casper agreed 'We are the Party types & we've never missed a Birthday Party of Any of Our Friends - so it Must Be Like That!'. 'Ok... - That's really nice of you' said Sam & smiled at them 'Thanks'. 'You're Very Welcome, Our New Friend!' said both twins at once again.

So what does your ventriloquist dummy look like?' asked Casper. 'He looks like a little boy in a green turtleneck, jeans & trainers & he has blue eyes & fair hair' answered Sam. 'Sounds cool' said Frank 'And what's his name?'. 'Timmy' answered Sam happily. 'Will you show him to us?' asked Frank. 'Sure I will. I'll take part in our school Talent Show with him' answered Sam proudly 'I'll be a Ventriloquist!'. 'Wow! - We can't wait to See That!' said Casper! 'We haven't seen a real Ventriloquist yet!' 'Oh yes, we have' Frank corrected him. 'Where?' asked Casper. 'On Tv' answered Frank with a smile. 'That doesn't count' said Casper. 'Oh yes, it does' said Frank. 'But now we'll see Sam's performance live - so it's going to be even Better!' said Casper. 'I hope so' said Sam smiling at his new friends. 'We'll keep our fingers crossed for You!' Frank assured him & Casper made this gesture to demonstrate it. 

Then the bell rang. The break just ended so they came back to the classroom together.
