Today of all days, you haven't been your self.   You feel all groggy and your stomach has been hurting you since this morning. You were about to eat a bite of eggs that benny made you and then pain exploded. 

You:  "Okay! That's it. I'm done with breakfast."

Benny:  "Come on now y/n you can't just not eat. You have to get strength somehow."

You: "Might as well face it Benny!"

You told Benny everything about what's been going on.

Benny: "I know you're scared to eat but you don't have to be afraid of a meal."

You: "But every time I eat I now get sick! Please don't tell Squints? He'll go doctor on me!"

Benny: "I won't but if I keep this from Squints, how will he feel about it?"

You: "Probably he'd be feeling bad and wanting to help. But I don't need constant saving Benny! I'm a big girl. I can handle myself."

Benny: "Okay then Miss. Big girl. Then show me what you got at the field today." 

You and Benny left and head over to the baseball field. You were about to hit a home run until then your stomach jabbed you with pain again. Then, you collapsed into you guess it. Squint's.

Squints: "What happened?"

Benny: "Y/n has been acting like this ever since this morning!"

Squints: "Ever since this morning? Why didn't you tell me!"

Benny: "Because she wants to have a little bit of independence".

Squints: "And YOU LET HER?"

Squints took you back to his place where you can be properly taken care of. Squints gathered everything he needed to help you get well. 

You woke up and see a cup of apple juice in front of you. You started drinking the juice. 

Squints: "Slowly. Y/n. I wish you can come to me sooner so I can help you."

You: "I-I'm sorry bestie. I was just-"

Squints:" It's okay y/n just next time when you have things like this tell me and I'll help you. Okay?"

You: "I can't say no to my best friend so Okay."
