It's been a happy peaceful morning the sandlot gang were going to the field today for practice until someone ruined their field.

Bertram: "Someone has been messing with our turf!"

Benny: "No but they aren't going to get away with it too far let's roll and see who did it!"

Of corse you didn't have anything to do with it but you were about to head over to the base ball field but then you saw the boys you ran from one direction then the next.

Squints: "Hey what's that noise?"

Benny: "Over there by the bushes!"

You were about to make a run for it but then you were spotted by you guessed it Squints your best friend.

Squints: "DARN IT y/n! You could have been killed! Where have you been?"

You: "I-I was on my way to see you until I saw.."

Squints: "You saw what?"

Benny: "y/n, did you do this?"

You: "No I didn't I swear!"

Squints: "If my bestie she says she didn't do it Benny she didn't do it!"

Ham: "Oh what makes you so sure!"

Benny: "Until I find out what's been going on here. Y/n's banned from the sandlot."

You: "What?"

Squints: "THATS NOT FAIR! SHE DIDN'T DO IT!"

Benny: "I'm sorry Squints but it has to be done. Let's move out and find out who did it. We all can be suspects. So Squints your banned from the field as well!"

Squints: "Your just a bunch of losers!"

You: "Back off Benny!"

When Benny almost punched Squints in the face, you stand in front of him for defence. You weren't gonna let Benny lay a finger on your best friend.

You: "You see on what this has becoming? The beast wants to divide us! That's what's been keeping us alive is by staying together! Instead we are fighting? What kind of friends are we?"

Benny: "Yeah? Well I plan to keep it that way!"

Squints: "Same here come on y/n! Let's go!"

A minute later on the way home, as mad as Squints was at Benny, he couldn't stop looking and smiling at what you did back there to protect him.

You: "Squints?"

Squints: "Yes?"

You: "You think that this whole thing will blow over by tomorrow?"

Squints: "Oh I think so. Benny's tough he'll get over it."

You: "Let's promise each other to be best friends till the end!"
