Will Ned Leeds Me To HOCO? (Homecoming)

At school today, everyone was talking about how Spider-Man rescued the decathlon team. I walked over to Peter in the hallway to greet him. "Morning, Pete." I greeted. "Dawn, how are you feeling today?" Peter asked. "Well, turns out that I'm claustrophobic now." I sighed as Ned came running up behind me. "Dude, how does it feel to be famous when nobody knows it's you?" Ned asked. "Crazy, dude." Peter replied. "Should we tell everyone?" Ned asked. "No." I replied. "Should I tell everyone?" He asked again. "No, dude. That's not a good idea." Peter replied. "Come on, let's go to class." I said. "I'm not going to class." Peter explains. "You're already in so much trouble for ditching the decathlon." I commented. "Guys, I figured it out. The wingsuit guy is stealing from Damage Control." Peter continued. "What he steals from there, that's how he builds the weapons. So, all I have to do is catch him." "But we have a Spanish quiz." Ned reminds him. "Ned, I'm probably never gonna come back here." Peter said. "Mr Stark is moving the Avengers upstate, so, when I bring this guy in..." "Dude." I interrupted. "You want to be a high school dropout?" "I am so far beyond high school right now." Peter said. "Parker, my office." The principal ordered.

After school, I decided to go on my PlayStation and play some Kingdom Hearts. As my character died in the game, my phone started ringing. Unexpectedly, I got a call from May. "May?" I asked. "What's going on?" "Please tell me Peter's there with you!" May begged. "Um, sorry, May, but I haven't seen Peter since school." I explained as May began hyperventilating through the phone. "I'm sure he's fine." I hung up on May, switched the tv to cable and turned on the news. Spider-Man was trying to stop a ferry from sinking. "Oh, shit." I gasped.

The next day, I waited for Peter outside of the principal's office with Ned. "Are you expelled?" Ned asked. "Do you have to go to that high school on 46th where the principal has a crossbow?" "Pretty sure that's an urban myth, and, no, I'm not expelled." Peter explains. "You're so lucky." I sighed.

Before 5th period, I bumped into Liz by accident. "Dawn, I'm so sorry." Liz apologized. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm alright." I said. "Actually, I was wondering if you could give me some ideas for asking my crush to Homecoming?" "Sure, who is it? If you don't mind me asking." Liz asked. "Ned." I replied. "He's really smart and caring." "Hmm, I might have an idea." Liz explains.

I found Ned and Peter in the band room, putting together some pieces of the Death Star. "Hey, guys." I greeted. "Sorry to interrupt, but is it alright if I have a moment alone with Ned?" "Yeah, that's fine." Peter replied, heading out in the hall. "What's up?" Ned asked. "Oh, um, well, okay." I hesitated. "Ned, we've been through everything together. I never really noticed how much you mean to me until now." I handed a piece of paper that read: Will Ned Leeds me to Homecoming? "Yes." Ned gasped. "Of course I will."

Tonight at Homecoming, Ned and I mainly hung out with Michelle. I was shocked when I saw Peter with Liz tonight. The next thing I knew, he ran away from Liz. "Ned, something's wrong." I said. "Let's go." Ned replied, following Peter down the hall. We looked out the window to see Peter fighting someone in the bus parking lot. When Peter couldn't fight back, Ned noticed his web shooters. Both of us grabbed one and aimed at the gun and shot webs. "Nice shot!" Peter complimented, taking the devices and sprayed webs at the enemy. "Ned, Dawn, the guy with the wings is Liz's dad." "What?" Ned asked. "I know, I gotta tell Mr Stark. Call Happy Hogan, he's Mr Stark's head of security. And get a computer and track my phone for me." "Will you be okay?" I asked. "Hurry, we gotta catch him before he leaves town." Peter explains, swinging to fight Liz's dad.

Luckily, the library was unlocked. I logged into the computer as Peter called Ned. "Hello? Ned? Dawn? Can you hear me?" Peter asked. "Go for Dawned." Ned replied. "It's our couple name." "Guys, I need you to track my phone." Peter said. "Yeah, but where is it?" I asked. "I left it in his car." Peter explains. "Genius move." Ned compliments. "Okay, he just passed the GameStop on Jackson Avenue." "Hey, where are the headlights on this thing?" Peter asked. "I'm in Flash's car." "I'll pull the specs." Ned said. "Okay, you're on speakerphone." Peter explains. "You stole Flash's car?" I asked, laughing. "Awesome." Peter started screaming over the phone. "Peter, are you okay?" Ned asked. "I've never really driven a car before, only with May in huge parking lots. This is a huge step up." Peter replied. "Hey, have you gotten through to Happy yet?" "We're working on that. Just gotta backdoor the phone system." Ned explains. "You are the guy in the chair." I commented. "Takeoff in 9 minutes." I heard someone say. "Hello? Hello? Who is this?" "Uh, Mr Happy, this is Ned and Dawn." Ned said. "We're associates of Peter Parker. Got something very important to tell you..." "You gotta be shitting me!" Happy complained, hanging up on us. "How are we coming up with those headlights?" Peter asked. "Round knob to the left of the steering wheel, turn clockwise." Ned read. "Got it. So, where's my phone now?" Peter asked. "He stopped at an old industrial park in Brooklyn." I replied. "What?! That makes no sense!" Peter yelled. "I thought he said he was going out of town." "Weird. Oh, we reached Happy, but I don't think he likes you." I explained. "Sounded like he was catching a flight, something about taking off in 9 minutes. He was surrounded by a bunch of boxes." "Boxes?" Peter wondered. "It's moving day. It's moving day. He's gonna rob that plane! I gotta stop him!" "Okay, you're getting close, it's on your right." Ned said. "Turn right!" "Peter, are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah." Peter replied. "Just keeps trying to get through to Happy." "It's been an honor, Spider-Man." I whispered. "What are you doing here?" The librarian asked. "There's a dance." "Uh, I'm looking, at porn." Ned lied.
