The stands were filled the cheering fans. It was a bright, sunny day, perfect for a ball game. "Come one! One strike!" A man shouted, hoping the pitcher would throw a strike out. The crowds cheered as the baseball player swung and hit the ball. He ran towards first base, rounding towards second. The ball was caught and the fans groaned.

"Which of you gents ordered a beer?" Rapunzel asked as she walked around, carrying a tray. She got to sit in the VIP booth with Jackson along with some of his friends and family members.

"Oh, let me help you with that." Jackson offered as he stood up from his seat. He didn't want Rapunzel to do so much work. After all, they were supposed to be hanging out and having fun.

"Jackson, you unwittingly imply that I'm clumsy." She teased as she pushed him back down into his seat. She could handle this all on her own. And she was going to prove it to him.

"Sorry, I was confusing you with somebody that I used to know," He smiled as he took a beer from her. "Rapunzel Corona, this is Hank and Eric from Sportsmagazine." Jackson introduced.

"Nice to meet you." Hank greeted as he took a beer from her.

"They were kind enough to give me a job." Jackson explained as Rapunzel walked through the row, handing each of the men a drink. She was going to do her job well.

"Hi there." Eric smiled, graciously taking a drink. It was a hot day and he needed something to drink to clench his thirst.

"How do you do?" She politely smiled, showing off her white teeth. She walked down the aisle, making sure to sway her hips a little. After spending a couple years during high school waitressing, she knew a few ways to earn a little more tips.

"And... And this is Walter, my father-in-law." Jackson added, pointing to the man sitting in front of him. Jackson wanted to make a good impression on Elsa's family. He wanted to make sure that he was fit for the family.

"Future father-in-law." She corrected, standing in front of Walter. After these next couple of days, he wouldn't be Jackson's father-in-law anymore. She just had to make that clear.

She handed him a beer, making sure to put on her sweetest smile. Rapunzel couldn't be suspected for anything. "Thank you," Walter nodded, surprised by Rapunzel. "If he gives you any grief, you come and see me." He teased.

Rapunzel smiled and looked up at Jackson, wondering what he thought about that comment. Jackson smiled, that was typical of Elsa's father. Jackson nodded towards the left of Walter. "And this guy you know."

"Papa Joe." Rapunzel smiled, placing a kiss on his lips as she sat down on his lap. Papa Joe was Jackson's father. Rapunzel had meet him millions and millions of times before. They were so close that she almost considered him her father.

"I told him he should make you best man, darling, but he had to go with his baby brother." He smiled as he rubbed Jackson's little brother's head. Rapunzel stood up, ready to give him a hug.

"Best-looking guy in any room!" She teased.

"Hello!" He greeted, standing up with her. She gave him a hug and placed a kiss on his cheek. Jamie was one of the sweetest kids you'd ever met. Rapunzel had a special place set in her heart for him.

"Great to see you." She added, patting his back with her free hand. They were hugging for a long time, making Jackson somewhat annoyed. He thought his little brother was being stupid.

"Hey, that'll do," Jackson commented, making all of the guys whoop. He reached over, tapping Jamie to let go of Rapunzel. "Jamie... Jamie, that'll do."

"Sorry." Jamie apologized as he let go of Rapunzel. He had always liked her.

"Now, remember, it is the duty of the best man to dance with the maid of honor." She smiled, still holding onto Jamie's neck. All of the men began to cheer. Jamie reached over, trying to grab a beer, but Papa Joe was quick to pull his arm away.

"Dance. You can't dance. When did you learn how to dance?" Jackson scoffed. Rapunzel popped out one of her hips, knowing exactly how to answer his question.

"I've got moves you've never seen." She flirted as she swayed her way through the row. The men all oohed and awed. What did she just say? A few chuckled and whistled, knowing what she meant.

"You're an imposter," Jackson laughed, standing up from his spot. Rapunzel handed her tray to Hank as Jackson walked towards her. "What did you do with my best friend? Huh?" He questioned.

"I'm still your best friend," Rapunzel grinned, placing her hands onto her hips. "You just haven't seen me for a while."

"All I'm saying is that some people might find that kind of perfection boring day after day, year after year." Rapunzel stated as the stood out on the balcony, watching the ball game. They had left the VIP room so they could hang out, just the two of them.

"See that's what I thought at first. How can you like someone that perfect? No potential for long-range likability," Jackson replied as they stood out in the hot sun. Rapunzel hummed, knowing what he was getting at. "But then she does have a few good traits.

"Such as?" She questioned, placing a hand on hip. She looked over at her best friend, waiting to see what his answer would be. Hopefully, it was something stupid, like that she loves to clean.

"When I hug her, even in public, I don't have to let go right away. She lets me hold her as long as I want," He explained. The announcer stated who was up to bat as Rapunzel let this comment process through her head. "What?"

Rapunzel shook her head. "Nothing." She quickly answered, turning back around to face to game. Wasn't that something she did? Wouldn't she let him hug her? What was the big deal?

"Uh, yeah, I forgot. You and that yucky love stuff. You always get like that when it gets sentimental." Jackson stated. She turned and looked at him. Wow.

"I don't not!" She denied, pulling her long, blonde strands out of her face. She couldn't believe he just said that. She scoffed again and faced the game.

"Okay." He finished. He knew she was denying it because she knew it was true. He didn't have to explain himself to her. Rapunzel's never really liked love stuff. He's known that since he met her.

Rapunzel just had to ask him. She had to know what his answer was or it was going to slowly kill her. She turned around, facing him again. "Well, when we were... When you and I were... W-when we were-" she stuttered.

"Together?" Jackson finished, hoping he found the right word. She nodded her head and hummed. She was glad he finished the sentence for her, otherwise it probably wouldn't have fumbled out.

She looked down, afraid to know his answer. "Well, did I... When..." She mumbled, trying to find the right way to ask. This was a tough question.

"Yes." He answered, making her look up. Being her best friend, he knew what she was trying to ask. She stopped and stared at him as she pulled her hair back behind her ears. The wind had picked up since earlier today.

"'Yes' what?" She questioned.

"Yes, you pulled away when I tried to hug you in public." He explained. She looked anywhere but him. Why? Why did she pull away? Why was she soo disgusted with just simple acts of love?

She debated with herself about how to make herself look better. If she was getting beat because she pulled away in public, she had to fix it. "Well, I've changed," she smiled. "I mean, I'm not the girl that I once was."

"Really?" Jackson asked. Rapunzel hummed and nodded her head. Oh god, he was totally going to see through that lie. That wasn't even believable. "Any relationship over two weeks that I should know about?" He questioned as he sat down on the ledge of the balcony.

"This is not about longevity, Jackson. This is about being comfortable with the yucky love stuff." She stated as a player smacked a ball, causing a loud uproar from the fans.

"All right." Jackson softly cheered.

"And I am." She added, hoping to grab his attention again. He looked her over and smiled. Thee Rapunzel Corona was okay with yucky love stuff? He didn't believe it for one second.
