Chapter 47| Visiting the Old Castle

Hi, guys *waves* This is a long update, so Enjoy

**************************************

Two weeks later, Sana was very excited. No, not to visit 13-14th century old Castle but she was excited to spend some time with Daanish. Sana wasn't much into history, just like she wasn't much into other subjects like chemistry, bio, physics, and mathematics. Unlike her, Daanish enjoys everything that has to do with studies.

Sana rolled her eyes as she wore ladies watch on her right wrist.

Such a nerd... hot nerd – Sana grinned to herself. She leaned forward and applied lip balm on her lips and smacked them. Quickly, she applied her kohl and combed her short hair making them rest on her shoulders.

'Oh!' She glanced at her watch as she grabbed her keep all. She was getting late. Hurriedly, she left the apartment and locked it properly.

Sana adjusted the sling of her bag as she stepped out of her building. Daanish stood at the edge of the pavement in front of his building. She took a moment to look at him. He stood facing her, but his eyes were glued to his mobile. Even casual grey Tee with the sleeved pulled up few inches below his elbow he looked hot. Denim and dirty brown shoes complimented him well. Daanish adjusted his thin wayfarer glasses and looked up. Sana snapped out from her staring session and straightened. She waved at him and smiled widely. He waved back. Quickly, she climbed down the stairs of her building and walked to him. On the way, she kept pulling down her floral printed blue and white summer dress. It was way above her knee and so, she felt highly uncomfortable. Also, it had an elastic around the waist that was tight.

Why did I wear this dress again? Oh, yeah to compete with Nadia

Luckily, Nadia wasn't with them. She left and that was the best part for Sana but last week Nanu also left that had upset Sana. She had begun to be very fond of that elderly woman. Still, Sana admired Nadia's guts and confidence especially after her reaction to Ajith, but some feelings don't change. Sana was still envious of her.

'Come on, we are getting late.' Daanish pointed at his watch with his index finger.

'Sorry.' Sana huffed standing in front of him. They turned to leave when Sana stopped. 'One minute.' She said. Daanish stopped. Sana held his arm and bend her right leg. 'Sorry.' She muttered as she adjusted her white sneakers. Daanish pressed his lips tightly while shaking his head. Once again, she smiled at him, but he doesn't. Sana's smile dropped.

'Come.' He held her hand and took her with him.

They took the nearest subway, Sana guided Daanish most of the time. She hasn't ever used the trains or the subways, but she had some idea. Finally, they climbed on the train that will take them to the train station. Since it's Saturday, they managed to find a seat. Together they sat beside each other. Sana folded her legs placing one over the other. She placed her bag on her thigh to avoid skin show.

Damn! She was regretting her decision big time.

'Music?' Sana extended one of the earphones. Daanish nodded and took it.

'You like hip-hop, rap, metal, Bollywood?' Sana asked as she skimmed through her playlist.

'You have something soft, melody with no lyrics.' Daanish asked. Sana gaped at him. He smiled and took out his phone from his denim pocket.

'Listen to my playlist.'

A boring melody played, and Sana instantly felt bored. But she looked at him, smiled and nodded. Minutes later, Sana felt her eyes droopy. So, she leaned back and on its own accord, her eyes closed. Sometime later Sana felt someone tug her dress and she work up with a jolt.

'Sorry.' Daanish said moving his hand back. Sana straightened.

'Actually, you fell asleep and your dress was slipping up so-' Daanish replied. He was red in his cheeks.

**** Sana realized while she was asleep, she had moved her legs, leaned back completely and stretched her legs front. Her knees were wide apart as well.

How un-lady like? – She cursed.

'It is okay. Thanks.' Sana said. She realized her keepall bag had fallen at her feet. She felt embarrassed. Avoiding Daanish's gaze she picked up the bag and placed it on her thighs again.

'The station is coming in five minutes.' Daanish said and Sana nodded. She looked around and noted that the boggy was almost empty now except for them and three other people. Luckily, all were women. Sana was relieved. Even when asleep her panty was shown, which it must have, then only these women might have seen. Unless Daanish... Sana looked at him and felt even more embarrassed.

**************************

Daanish paid for the train tickets and looked around searching for the platform.

'Come.' Before Sana could react, he held her hand and took her with him. The Castle opening time was 10 and closing time was 5. It will take them three hours to reach their destination – The Raby Castle. While running, Sana glanced at the huge clock, it was exactly ten.

Sana huffed as they stopped at a platform. Daanish looked relieved. He glanced at his watch.

'The train will be here any minute now.' He said. Sana simply nodded. There was a guy on the platform checking tickets and a machine for checking bags. Sana placed her palms on her hips and took deep breaths. Before she was completely calmed, Daanish held her wrist, again, and took her with him. Sana doesn't protest but she kept mentally cursing him.

They had their tickets and Sana's bag checked then they waited for the train. After the train arrived, Daanish let Sana get on first. He followed her, checking the ticket for their seats. Sana liked the cozy train. The seats facing each other, a large glass window on the sides and a foldable table in between the seats.

'This one.' Sana stopped in her tracks when she heard Daanish. She turned around and found him few seats behind her. She adjusted her bag and walked towards him.

Since they had seat facing each other both got the window seat. Their adjacent seat was empty for now. Slowly, the compartment began filling up with people. Sana kept praying no one sits beside her or Daanish. Sana felt happy when a sweet voice echoed in the compartment informing them that train was about to start. She looked at Daanish and they exchanged smiles. Soon, the train began moving. Sana folded her arms and leaned to her side. She leaned her head against the window and stared out.

At one point she stretched her leg and her feet accidentally hit Daanish.

'Sorry.' She looked up at him and found him fast asleep. Sana shifted and admired him. He had his hands resting on the foldable table, his head thrown back and his mouth slightly open.

Aww! Sana thought in her head. She admired him for some time before turning her head and looking out at the meadows again.

*********************************

The train halted and Daanish was jolted from his sleep. Quickly, Sana leaned back and pretended to be asleep.

A moment later she heard Daanish call her name softly. She woke up pretending to look dazed.

'What- Where?'

'We reached.' Daanish said. Sana looked at him and nodded. As Sana picked up her bag from the empty seat beside her, Daanish wiped his glasses with the hem of his Tee.

The two then got down. Sana first followed by Daanish.

They left the station and entered a village. Daanish acted like a tour guide as he took her around. Sana was amazed because Daanish hadn't been here before, yet he knew everything. With a cheeky grin, Daanish told her that he learned everything from the internet.

Sana admired the area. There are many tourists walking around, some shopping while some having gala time while clicking photos.

'Let us have some breakfast.' Sana said placing her palm on her stomach. Daanish looked at her and nodded. Looking at him she realized his glasses were photochromatic. Sana looked around and spotted a small café. They walked up to it and took their seats in the open area. There was a menu card on their table. Sana picked up one and passed it to Daanish. She scanned the menu card and then looked up at Daanish. He had his eyes fixed on the Menu card.

'I will get Pasta.' Sana said brightly. Daanish nodded thoughtfully and a second later he looked up.

'I will get some spaghetti.' He replied. Sana nodded and then turned her head. She spotted a waiter and snapped her fingers to get his attention. When he looked at her, she waved at him. He nodded and walked up to them.

***************************

After their food, they walked through the narrow streets and towards the Castle. Sana could see the building. Even if she didn't, Daanish got so overexcited that he kept pointing at it. At one point, he held her hand once again and took her there. On the way, he stopped to get two maps of the place. He handed one to Sana. She didn't know what to do with it. Nevertheless, she took it from him.

They got their tickets and entered the Castle. Sana looked around the building awestruck. Daanish got two audio guides and handed one to Sana. Once again, she had no idea what to with it. She hung it around her neck and walked with Daanish.

The things Sana enjoyed was clicking selfies and admiring the architecture of the place. Daanish was so involved that he was pausing on every place listening to the audio guide. Sana was selective but even that was boring. She had a hard time controlling her yawn.
