Hi, guys *waves* After a long time *guilty face* Sorry for the delay as I was busy and also not keeping well.

Sana asked Daanish to talk while she does the formalities. Daanish insisted he pay his bills but she sternly refused. After Daanish gave up, she smiled victoriously. Sana walked out of the room and glanced up. She noted the room number and walked towards the elevator. She met the same doctor, Dr. Andrew at the reception desk. They exchanged smiles and he handed her a form. He asked her to fill this and get the medicines from their pharmacy. Sana nodded taking the prescription from him. He smiled once again and said, - 'Take care of your friend.' He nodded
'Sure, Dr. Andrew.' Sana replied. After the doctor turned around and left, Sana turned to face the young man behind the reception desk. He gave her the bill and Sana took out her credit card from her wallet. After billing, she was guided by the man to the Pharmacy.
Once again, Sana got lost searching for the pharmacy. About ten minutes of struggling she finally found it. Sana got the medicines. A painkiller, one cream, some bandages, and cotton. Now, Sana found herself lost searching for the room again.
Darn it – Sana groaned.

'What took you so long?' Daanish asked as Sana entered the room.
She smiled sheepishly at him, - 'Got caught up with the formalities and the medicines.'
'Oh!' Daanish lowered his head and stared at Sana's mobile, - 'I am giving you unnecessary trouble.' He sighed.
'Stop whining like a girl, Ali.' Sana said brightly, and he looked up at her surprised. Sana smirked. Purposefully she imitated his tone from the park earlier. Daanish smiled shaking his head.
'You must be happy I won't be torturing you for a while.' He said. Sana grinned nodding her head. Daanish laughed and Sana joined him. Suddenly she gasped feeling her breath getting caught in her throat, as he held her hand gently.
Dhak! Dhak! Dhak! - Sana blinked at him. He smiled little.
'I am sorry. I pushed you too hard in the afternoon. I don't know what came-'
'It is okay.' Sana smiled clenching his palm tighter. Daanish's smile broadened. They looked at each other until Sana broke the eye contact. She fidgeted with the plastic bag and stammered.
'You-Your med-medicine.' She said forwarding it to him.
'Thanks.' Daanish said taking the packet from her.
There was silence as Daanish checked the medicine, read the content. Sana sat on the right side of the bed, beside his hanging feet.
'Um. I hope you have informed everyone at home as well.' She said. Daanish looked from the medicine.
'Yup. Thanks.' He picked up her phone from beside him and handed it to her. Sana took it from him and got up from the bed.
'I will be going then.' She said tugging her hair behind her ear. Daanish nodded. She felt his gaze on her as she picked up her handbag from the table beside the bed. She placed the sling of the bag on her shoulder and looked at him.
'Okay then. Take care. I will come tomorrow.' She said. Then she turned around. She had taken only one step when he called her, and she turned back.
Daanish smiled at her, - 'Thank you, Sana. For everything.' He said genuinely.
Sana smiled, - 'Hey, what are friends for?' Then she blinked at him. The two bid good-bye and Sana left the room.
She should be feeling bad that Daanish had an accident. Instead, she was happy. There were more reasons to be happy than upset. Sana bit her smiling lips as she got into the cab. She leaned against the seat and folded her arms. She stared out of the window. A smile lingering on her face.

'Where is your friend?'
Sana was startled when Ajith spoke right into her ear. She tilted her head and looked at him. He grinned at her. She looked away.
'He is hurt.' She replied not looking at him.
'Oh, Sad to know.' He held her shoulder and Sana cringed. He patted her shoulder and turned around. Sana watched him walk to a girl few distances ahead of her. Sana twisted her lips. If she didn't have to go to the hospital she would have followed Daanish's idea.
After her yoga classes, she called her boss, Adah and dropped a text in her team's main group chat that she will be late for work as she must go to the hospital urgently. She was relieved when Adah gave her the thumbs up. She then showered and dressed in a blue striped sleeveless button blouse and denim jeans. She hung the sling of her handbag on her shoulder and stepped out of the apartment.

She was glad she got the cab quickly. They reached hospital little late than she expected. Nevertheless, she was happy it wasn't a bumpy ride.
'Daanish?' Sana peeped in the room and found Daanish standing. His ankle bandaged and slightly lifted. The nurse held his arm helping him be steady on his feet.
'Hey!' Daanish greeted her. Sana smiled at him as she walked towards them.
'Maam. Could you pass me the hand crutch please?' The young pretty nurse said. Sana eyed her hand holding Daanish's arm momentarily before looking up at the nurse and nodding.
'Sure.' Sana replied dryly.
She handed nurse the crutch and she forwarded it to Daanish. Sana watched the nurse fix the crutch strap around Daanish's arm. Sana was happy he has worn a full sleeved navy blue sweatshirt. Daanish steadied himself on the crutch. He was still for a second but wobbled little. Before the nurse could hold him, Sana leaped and grabbed his free arm.
'You will be needing some practice to get used to it.' The nurse said with a smile. Daanish nodded. Sana helped him stand. The nurse left and Daanish groaned. Sana doesn't say anything.
Sana helped him turn around. Daanish limped and was about to fall to his side when Sana held his arm firmly.
'Just relax.' She said softly and moved his arm. She rested his arm around her neck and shifted closer. She turned her head to say something but found herself speechless. His face was in close proximity to her face. She stared into his Hazel eyes. Luckily, his glasses weren't broken. As they stared into each other eyes, Sana's gaze fell to his lips, but she quickly looked up and found Daanish's gaze darting down as well.
'So, Mr. Daanish.' Dr. Andrew's voice startled them, and they looked away from each other. Sana felt awkward.
Dr. Andrew asked some questions to Daanish and gave some guidelines for him to follow and then smiled at them. Sana thanked him and helped Daanish walk with her. His arm felt heavy around her neck, but she ignored it. She will apply baam later. Outside she got the cab and opened the door for Daanish. She helped him get in and then walked around the car. She sat next to him. He shifted little.
'You okay? Comfortable?' She asked looking at him concerned. Daanish nodded. Sana nodded as well but noticed that he was avoiding her gaze.

The car stopped in front of their building and Sana got down first. As she hurried to his side, Daanish had opened the door. She held his free arm and helped him stand.
'I hate taking help.' Daanish said sadly. Sana looked at him while holding his arm firmly.
'It is okay. You are taking help from me.' She replied. Daanish looked at her guiltily but she smiled at him. This time Daanish moved his arm and placed it around her neck. Sana helped him walk with her. He winced little as he limped. Sana pressed the elevator button to Daanish's floor. This was the first time she would be using the lift here. She never uses elevators not even in her building.
The elevator door opened, and Sana was surprised to see the tiny space. The two would have to cramp in. Sana being petite would easily fit in but Daanish would be taking most of the space. He smiled sheepishly at her, but she had a pleasant expression on her face. Sana liked how his arm was pressed against her and she wished the elevator ride never stops. But unfortunately, they reached the floor and the elevator door opened.
'Where is the key?' Sana asked looking at Daanish.
'One minute.' Daanish said and tugged his palm into his pocket and took out the key. He struggled with the keys. Sana bit her lip, she felt hesitant in asking him if he needed help. After a while, she couldn't control and spoke to him. He looked at her.
'Yes please.' He said cutely. Sana smiled and extended her hand. Daanish handed her the key.
She unlocked the door and stepped in first. Daanish limped inside. After he had entered, Sana closed the door behind him. She helped him to the sofa and made him sit on the sofa. He removed the crutch and looked very relieved. Sana smiled looking at him.
'You relax. I will make breakfast for us.' Sana said. Daanish looked gratefully at her. She smiled and turned around walking into the kitchen.
