Ainsley's P.O.V.

I walked into the gym and Keaton was waiting for me. He smiled when I walked in. He had the most adorable smile.

"Hey." I said to Keaton.

"Hey." He replied.

Well that was awkward. He leaned down and whispered something to me.

"You wanna go on an actual date tonight?" He asked in almost whisper.

"Um... Yes of course I do but what about Lo?" I answered wearily.

"You haven't told her yet?" He asked.

"No, I just don't want to piss her off and I don't know who to tell her." I said.

"We can do it tonight, after dinner." He said.

"How about tomorrow, I have a volleyball game tonight remember?" I stated.

"Oh yeah. I will be there." He said with a grin. "How about after that we just go on a walk or something."

"I'd like that." I said smiling. "See ya there Colt."

He had the biggest smile on his face like he just accomplished the impossible.

A couple hours later the final bell of the day rang and I scurried to the locker room. Lola was already there talking to Maya and Jess as she cornered me as I walked in. I looked at her.

"So anything you wanna tell me?" She asked.

Maya looked up from her locker and mouthed the words. "She knows, everyone in school is talking about it."

I decided to be honest with her hoping she wouldn't hate me.

"So Lo, I kinda lied to you about last night." I said.

"Oh I know. Keaton never just gives people a ride home." She said.

"Do you hate me?" I asked.

"I am mad because you didn't tell me the truth. But I could never hate you Ains." She told me.

"Can I explain the rest please?" I asked. She nodded.

"So yesterday Keat was being super nice to me, he brought me coffee and kept smiling and staring at me. I kept blushing not knowing what to do because he had never done this before. He asked me after English If I would meet him to talk that night and I agreed. At P.E. he even asked me to be on his team which he never did either. Maya told me maybe he had feelings for you but I didn't really think he did. He picked me up and we went to Yolo Froyo and while I ate my froyo he told me he had feelings for me. I was so shocked Lo, all I could think about was the rule we made when we were 7. Then he asked if I felt the same and I couldn't lie to him because I didn't want to hurt him but, I didn't want to hurt you either so I told him the truth and said Yes. He was surprised that I felt the same. Then he took me home. This morning he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. Please don't hate me." I finished almost in tears taking a deep breath so I wouldn't breakdown and cry . I also showed her the texts between Keaton and I.

"Ains, I was going to talk to you sometime about the rule anyways. I've seen the way my brother looks at you and I can tell he loves you. I couldn't be more happier! But I don't want you to hide anything from me. Also, I kinda knew this morning something was up because I have not seen Keaton this happy in years. I told him that if he hurt you I would kill him." Lola answered. Then she gave me a hug.

"So you aren't mad, because we have our first date tonight after the game." I said

"Of course not Ains, but I am going to pick out your outfit. I cannot believe that your first ever date is with my brother." She stated.

I smiled. "Thanks Lola, you are the best friend everyone need. I love you so much." I gave her a hug.

"There's that smile I love." She said.

"Ains I am so happy for you." Maya said hugging me. Then whispered in my ear. "I am not the one whole spilled the beans."

"I know." I answered.

Then Jess walked up. "I knew it." She blurted out. We all laughed. "Seriously I thought something was up between you." Jess said.

I texted Keaton quick before the game so he was all caught up.

Me: Hey um so Lola kinda just found out. She's not mad surprisingly and she said she supports us completely.

Then he double texted me back.

Keaton: That is great. I kinda knew she had a feeling about us. Can't hide anything from her no matter how hard I try.

Keaton: Good luck tonight Baby, I will be cheering for you.

Me: Yeah tell me about it. I thought she was gonna kill me.

Me: Thank you Babe. I will be looking for you.

I put my phone into my baby blue volleyball bag. Then I quickly changed into our volleyball uniform. Our uniforms were our school colors white, black and red. On the front it said AJHS and trailing horizontally by the collar on the back said Indians in bold writing.

"Better play well your boyfriend is here to watch you." Lola said grinning at me pointing to Keaton. I stuck my tongue out at her playfully

"I am so nervous I don't want to suck the first time he's seen me play." I said anxiously.

"Hon, he's seen you play so many times, remember he used to come to all my games because he's MY brother. If it helps just don't think about it. Cameron is coming tonight too. It's the first time since we've been together that he's come. So this is new for both of us." Lola pleaded.

We started our warm-ups and then I looked to see if I could see Keaton. He was sitting next to Cameron. They were both wearing matching t-shirts. Cameron turned around and on the back it said Lola's #1 Fan with the number 17 on it. Then, Keaton turned around and his said Ain's Boyfriend with the number 7 on the back. Lola and I turned to each other and smiled.

"My brother definitely likes you." She said.

"Apparently so." I giggled

"No, for real he would never wear a shirt like that if he didn't like you a lot." She replied.

"If you say so Lo." I answered.

Then the the referee blew his whistle which meant if was game time.

Maya's P.O.V.

I was in the locker room when Ainsley walked in. I knew Lola was going to corner her because Lola was talking to Jess and I about it before she walked in. I decided to keep my mouth shut and let Lola handle it. Surprisingly Lola wasn't mad that her brother and Ains could possibly be seeing each other.

I am so happy for her. I haven't seen Ainsley this happy in years.

I walked out of the locker room after wishing the volleyball players and went to the gym. I went to the third row of the bleachers in the student section and sat down next to Cameron, Keaton, Ashley and Morgan. I leaned over to Keaton.

"So when were you gonna tell everyone?" I asked.

"Whenever Ains was OK with it." He said.

Then Cameron and Keaton stood up and turned around. I turned my head to see what they were looking at. Lola and Ainsley were looking up the bleachers at them. There shirts were so cute. They were so supportive of there girlfriends.

Just then Brant walked up and sat down and put his arm around me.

"Hey cutie." Brant said as he sat down.

"Hey Babe, how was your day?" I said.

"It was good, I got an A on my History assignment you helped me with." He said and kissed my forehead. There were butterflies in my stomach still when he kissed me. Even though we've dated for over a year. "How was your day?"

"It was OK. I got a A on my History assignment too." I said. "I'm just a little tired."

"I'm sorry you're tired. We could go home and cuddle if you want." He suggested.

"I wanna watch the game. I told Jess and the girls I'd watch." I said.

"OK, but just so you know there's going to be a hoco dance proposal tonight." Brant said smiling.

"Wait are you asking me to the dance?" I asked.

He looked at me. "Sweetheart I thought you just knew you were going with me? I Of course you are going to be my date to Hoco. I just didn't think I needed to ask you since you are already mine." He stated.

"Oh, well that is true but a hoco proposal would have been nice. My dress if light pink so match accordingly Babe." I said giggling. "But yes Brant I will go with you."

"Good, I knew you couldn't refuse me." He chuckled.

"So who is getting the hoco proposal?" I asked.

"I don't want to spoil it. But, It's been long awaited." Brant said.

"Is it Keaton asking Ains or Cam asking Lola?" I pleaded trying to figure it out.

"Nope and Nope. I'm not spoiling it." He said smiling.

"OK fine." I said and shrugged it off.

Then the referee blew his whistle and the game started.
