Friday Night(the date)

Astrid

Hiccup didn't tell me where we were going but he did say to dress warmly. I settled on a cream sweater, light jeans, a pale blue jacket, and just plain sneakers. I walked out where he said he'd meet me. He was standing there. dressed in grey pants and a rust red pullover. He offered me a smile. 

"Hi, Milady". He said, 

he took my hand and kissed it gently. I felt my face heat up, I didn't blush often but when I did naturally I blushed redder then a tomato. He opened the passenger door of his car for me like a gentleman. 

"Thanks". I said. 

"Anytime". He said. 

"Now tell me where were going dragon boy". I said. 

He gave me a smirk and didn't respond.

Hiccup

"The Ice Rink"??! She said. 

"Yep, I'm gonna teach you how to skate". I said. 

Dad had taught me how to skate and I once heard Astrid say she wanted to learn, but she never did. So I wanted to Teach her. 

We went into the ice rink. Got our skates and I got on the ice. 

"You'll be fine, Ast". 

"If I fall you're catching me". She said. 

"Of course". I said, I offered her my hand. Which she accepted and I pulled her onto the ice gently. She slid a bit. 

"You, ok". I asked. She nodded. 

"Its just like roller blades Astrid, just push off. ok?". 

"Whatever you say, just know if I fall on my face its all your fault". 

I let go of her hand and on her first attempt she fell on her face. 

I leaned down. "You alright, that was a nasty fall". 

"She got onto her knees. "You're fault". she muttered with a grin.

"Hey sis look, its Hiccup and the Ice queen". I said 

Ruff gave me a look like I was an idiot, i get that look a lot. 

"But, isn't Elsa the ice queen"? She said. 

"What an interesting sis-covery". 

"One might say a Bro-fessional sis-covery". She said

"You to muttonheads, your missing the point". Snotlout said to me. 

"Whats the point". I said scratching my head. 

Snotlout rolled his eyes. "Hiccup clearly has a gambling problem and Astrids helping  him through it". 

"YUOR SO RIGHT"!! Me and Ruff said. 

I saw Heather and Fishlegs face-palm.

After skating we drove home,  we talked and I felt like almost nothing had changed between us. We were still best friends but now we were more to each other. We parked in front of his house. We walked to my doorstep. 

"Sure you'll be alright". He said. "Y-you'll call if anything happens"? 

"Of course muttonhead". I said.

Suddenly she grabbed my shirt collar and hauled me towards her. Then her lips collided with mine. 

It was longer then any of our other 2 kisses but t still made my legs weak and my brain turn to jello. I drew her closer to me and kissed her back hard. 

When we finally broke apart I gulped in air. Once I remembered how to form a complete sentence I said

"Astrid, I lo-"

"Astrid"! Alvin was opening the door and growling. 

"Get in here now". He boomed. 

"yes, Alvin". Astrid mumbled, she gave my hand one last squeeze and entered the house.
