Friend

The rest of the day was kind of a blur, but I was happy when I got home. I had gotten plenty of stares from the students and teachers. I knew why, though. It wasn't that odd.

When I got home, my friend was waiting for me. I smiled at her.

"Hey." Kim smiled, waving.

I hugged her, "What are you doing here?"

She grinned, "I want to be a singer or a writer, so... I decided to come here."

"You know you can WRITE songs to SING, right?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes, "Yes, I know. That's obvious."

"Yeah, because songs don't just come out of thin air." I whispered.

She giggled, "True."

"You're going to end up being a writer..." I smiled.

She rolled her eyes, "If I stop making fanfiction and start making my own stories with my own characters, yes."

"You will NEVER stop the fanfiction." I laughed, poking her.

She put her face in her hands while laughing, "I know."

I stared at the book in her hand, "Hey, what's that?"

"It's just a story I'm working on." She shrugged, before putting it back in her binder, "The others were annoying at school, today."

I frowned, "I didn't see you."

"It's fine. Anyway, how was your first day?" She asked.

I grinned, "I made a friend named Ella/Jordan."

"She like me?" She asked.

I shook my head, "No."

"Ohhh! I understand now! Okay... can I meet her/him someday?" She asked.

I stared at the floor, "I got their number, so... you could text them."

"Okay... can I have your phone for a second?" She asked.

I took my phone out of my backpack, "Fine."
