"You are here." Jay says calmly.

Jake nods his head in a matter of fact way, "You too?"

"It's their own reunion,of course they will be here." Vinnie shakes her head.

"Yo my bro's! Here!" Sunghoon yells out to them waving his hands as Rara shoots him an alarming glance.

"Come over here! " He beckons them to join their table.

"What are you doing dumbo?" Vinnie almost smacked him.

"Hey,I am just calling over my friends." He grins.

"Are you sure this was the guy you are besties with Rara?" Vinnie whispers as the latter shakes her head.

"I regret it now."she sighed.

Jake and Jay cautiously made their way to their table.

"Hey,it's been long!" They wave to everyone.

"Oh annyong." Vinnie says bitterly,throwing glares at the duo.

"I guess." Heeseung rolls his eyes.

Hoon couldn't stop laughing.

"Welcome mah bros."

The duo's eyes then fall on Rara.

"Hi Rara..." Both of them say.

"Hi guys."she smiles and nods.

They awkwardly sit down next to Vinnie who looked like she could kill them with her death glares.

Opposite to them were Rara and Hoon.

They made small talk for a while,updating each other with what was going on with their lives.

It was not as awkward as they expected it to be,and they got along pretty well.

"Woah you guys together now??" Jake was bewildered.

"Why? Is that so hard to believe??" Vinnie scowled,ready to punch him.

These two would never get along in any universe.

And Sunghoon decided to have some fun.

"So Rara,we were talking about you. Why aren't you dating?" He shoots a side glance at the two guys who tense up at the mention.

"Yah,I worked all these years to get that gold medal. Why won't you recognise that?" Rara shakes her head in annoyance.

"Exactly. Merit before men." Vinnie gives her a thumbs up.

"Anyway,someone who is destined to be with her will show up." She says sneakily.

Someone suddenly cover Rara's eyes.

"Guess Who?"

Everyone at the table were astonished.

"Jungwon ssi!" Rara says and he takes his hands off her eyes and props down next to her.

"Bingo!" He grins.

Then he looks at the rest of the table,everyone was shocked at his sudden appearance.

"Ah,now let me introduce myself."

"I am Dr Yang Jungwon. I work with Rara ssi." He extends his hand to both the guys in front of him,who refuse to take it.

It's Hoon's lucky day today.

He takes Jungwon's hand and shakes it.

"It's a pleasure meeting you Dr Yang."

Vinnie and Heeseung also greet him with a smile.

"Just call me Jungwon,I think we are all the same age." He said.

"Woah. Rara how come you never told us about this co worker of yours??" Sunghoon grins as Jungwon blushes.

"Woah...he even got dimples...that's Rara's ideal type." Vinnie whispers to Hee,but it reaches Jay and Jake who scoff.

"Jungwon ssi,I thought you left."Rara said.

"Ah I did. To park my car. The volunteers said friends and family could join too. So I came over,since I had nothing better to do anyway. Is it alright with you all though? I don't want to disturb your reunion..."

"Ayee the more the merrier! We are so glad you came along!" Heeseung reassured him.

And like that,the whole day went by. Rara had fun with her friends.  Jay and Jake...well,not so much.

"I have to get going now...my coach asked me to be back by 5pm."Jay apologetically says after a while.

"Ah,it cannot be helped then. Thanks for coming today. It was fun." Rara said and Jay smiles.

They watch him leave.

"It pretty late,we all should also get going I think...?" Vinnie says looking at her watch.

"Yeah,if it gets dark it would be hard to drive." Rara agrees.

"Okay Rara ssi,I will drop you off then-" He offers his hand to Rara. She hesitated,but gets up on her own.

"Okay,we will get going then..."Rara waves everyone good bye and locks eyes with Jaeyun for a moment.

His eyes filled with longing and regret.

"Take care Rara..."he smiles.

"You too...Jaeyunie." she smiled back.

"Thanks for inviting me Rara ssi,it was fun today." Jungwon grins.

"I didn't invite you." Rara smirked.

"Right,I invited myself,but still hd fun thanks to you." He chuckled.

before he could finish his sentence, Jungwon receives a call.

He picks it up.

"Hello? Oh...oh...I will be there. Don't panic. I am on my way!"

His forehead is wrinkled with worry.

"Doc Yang, everything okay?" Rara asks.

"Yeah,a family emergency. I am afraid I have to leave..." He seems torn though. He promised to take her home. But his family house was on the whole opposite side of the city. Rara seemed to sense that.

"Aah don't worry about me,I can take a taxi." She said.

Jungwon felt guilty. It was late now,it was ready dark outside. And they were in the middle of nowhere. He couldn't just drop her off there,and let her wait for a taxi. He didn't know what to do.

Someone knocks on Rara's side of the window.

"Who is that?" They look out to see-

"Jaeyun ah!" She is surprised.

"Why did you stop the car? Everything okay??" He was panting for breath. She could see his car parked a few metres behind them,and he seemed to have hurried here as soon as their car halted.

"Oh thank goodness!" Jungwon got out of the car and ran out to Rara's side,opening the door for her.

"Rara ssi, don't wait for the taxi,Mr Jake,please take Rara home for me...I have an emergency to take care of...I just received a call..."he explained.

Jake was getting flashbacks from college. Jay had asked him to the exact same thing years ago.

"She is my best friend too. I will take her home for her,not for you." He says in a matter of fact tone,and offers his hand to Rara,to get up.

She takes his hand,surprisingly,he didn't expect her to.

"Doc Yang, everything will be okay. Don't worry hmm?" She reassures him and he nods.

They get into their respective cars.

Jake and Rara sit in awkward silence for a while.

"Let's go ...?" He turns towards her and asks.

She stares for a moment and breaks out into laughter.

"It's your car,why are you asking me for permission to drive? "

He grinned. Now he felt like they were slowly getting back to being good friends. That's all he wanted.

As they drive,they started to talk.

"Yah,why were you driving this side? I thought your place was on the opposite side of the city." She said.

"Ah...I just wanted to make sure that 'Doc Yang' would get you home safely." He admitted sheepishly.

She giggled.

"Thanks mister."

'Yeah I mean how long have you known him,we never know-"

"He graduated top of his class from Seoul National University. Used to work at a corporate hospital until last year,but that when he quit. He wanted to serve the society and do non - profit work instead of becoming a part of the medical mafia. I approached him for my hospital and he accepted."

Jake was quite impressed. He did seem like a good guy.

"But still, I cannot trust you with anyone." He pouts,making her laugh.

"Yah,you should worry about your own girlfriend." She says,flustering him.

"Girlfriend..?"

"Oh,you do have a girlfriend,don't you?" She asks,now wondering if he didn't have one.

"Ah...well...yeah I do..." He admits,fixing his eyes on the road.

"Ah ...I thought so." She nods slowly,deep in thought.

She was right back then. Jake didn't realy love her,and was confusing his closeness with her as love. With their time apart,he must have found someone he really loved. She now was relieved that it was a good decision she made.

"How is she like?" Rara asks.

Jaeyun takes a deep breath,and thinks of his girlfriend. Thinking about her brings a smile onto his face.

"She is kind,sweet,cares about me. She believes in me,has faith in me....and she loves me.I believe that."

"But I will always love her more. Even if she ever stops loving me,I would never,I could never." He says at the end.

Rara is moved by his description.

"I am sure she would never let go off you Jaeyun.  I am sure she loves you as much as you do." She smiled.

They reach Rara's place.

Both of them get out of the car,and Jaeyun walks her to her doorstep.

"Thanks for dropping me home " she smiles.

"Also,I hope I get to meet your girlfriend someday."adds.

She turns around and starts to walk in,but stops in her tracks when he speaks.

"But you have already met her."

"Uh?" She is confused.

"You know her better,even better than me."he walks closer to her,eliminating the distance between them. He gently turns her around to face the mirrored door.

Rara sees her own reflection in it.
Her heart skips a beat.

"I said this before,and I am saying it again. It has always been you,and it will always be you, Oh Rara,the only one I will ever love."

"My feelings have not changed,and they will not change. Even if you make me wait for a thousand more years. Because this heart is not capable of treasuring someone else like it has done you." He says sincerely,not breaking eye contact once.

"Just like you said before,do you think she loves me as much as I do?" He asks.

"Jaeyu-" he doesn't let her continue.

"No,I don't deserve her. And I know that. I have like a fool hurt her and played with her feelings. I don't deserve her love."

He takes a few steps back from her.

All of the sudden,it starts pouring. He is out in the open and gets drenched.

"But,I wanted to tell you this. I will always love that girl." He smiled and quickly hurried over to his car and got in,before she could say anything else.

"Jaeyunie..." She was speechless,as she watched his car driveway.

"Jaeyunie..."
