The four of them were going about with their lives well.

Sunghoon was diligently working towards his ice skating career.

Jay in badminton and Jake in soccer,they were working really hard.

Both on the field and off the field- to woo Rara again.

As for Rara,she never felt more confident. She became a student faculty and mentor to the juniors in the department. She also started working in the college radio. So she was booked and busy.

She didn't have time for silly boy problems.

But that doesn't mean Jake and Jay gave up.

Jay would wait outside her class,checking to see if his hair was brushed properly.

She came out and would glance at him.

"Yeah Jay?"

"Yeah...you seem to be working really hrd these days...so I brought you some strawberry milk-"

"I don't like strawberries" she says and leaves.

Jay groans as he has his hand over his neck.

Next up. Jake.

He would wait for her at the gates.

"Yah. Rara. It looks like it is about to rain,get on my bike,I will drive you home quick." He says gesturing her to get on.

"No." She says.

"What?"

"I said no. You wanna hear it in Spanish? nOh!" She says sarcastically.

"Okay. Look. I don't want you to catch a cold after walking in the rain-"

"I would rather catch a cold and fall sick than get on your bike." She coolly says making him sigh.

"Neither of that is going to happen. I am here."

They turn around to see Hoonie ,The Umbrella Man walk in.

"Let's go My Lady?" He puts the umbrella over her just as it starts to drizzle. She gladly nods and walks away with him.

Jake scowls at Hoon who makes fun of him by putting out his tongue.

"Aish. Why is he making it harder for me?! He doesn't even like her in that way in the first place." Jake groans as he gets drenched in the rain.

Sunghoon and Rara are walking in the rain.

"Yah...really thanks for staying by my side in this mess."Rara thanks him as he chuckles.

"Of course I will. What are friends for?" She grins at him.

"Ooh by the way. The Inter University Marathon is coming up!" Sunghoon excitedly says.

"Yep. I am on the College Radio,so I am going to cover that too." She says.

"Woah!! So you are going to come! Won't you take part too?" He asks.

"You think I should?" She asks him doubtfully.

"Of course! You are really good at running! Very athletic! You should definitely go for the tryouts!" He says cheerfully.

She nods with a smile, "I will give it a try them,since our champion athlete is recommending it."

Tryouts- A few days later

Rara missed being on the field. She was into sports during high school- mostly because she wanted to tag along with Jaeyun,but she discovered she was pretty good at it and really enjoyed it.

Jake was Lazing around waiting for his tryouts to strt until he spotted a familiar face.

He hurried up to her.

"Rara?" He said with a surprised chuckle.

"Wae?" She asked without even turning her head to him.

"I didn't expect you would come!"

She turns to him now and gives him a cold glance.

"Why? You think I am just a goody two shoes who knows how to mug up things for an exam?"

"Yah...I didn't mean it that way-"

"I could probably outrun you. Keep that in mind." She says making him chuckle.

He falls back on the grass beside her,and looks up to her dreamily.

"You know? Don't keep doing this...your new attitude"

"What?" She asks him,with a frown face.

He gets up and brings his face closer to hers,making her lean back.

"Your new attitude...is so hot..you are making me fall even more for you." He smirks and winks before getting up,leaving her flustered.

"He has got some nerve. I will just show him what Oh Rara is made of today." She grits her teeth.

Coach Park
"Alright guys line up,let's do the 400 meter tryout now."

Rara watches from the sidelines along with others.

She hears the others conversing.

"Oh gosh...the visual attack is killing me!" A first year whispers.

"Our uni's F3 are taking part! Jay Jake Hoon!"

"The opponents will surrender with just one look from them...aaah!! Why are they so hot!!"

"Lol,let's see how well they run. That's what matters. " Rara snickers.

There were about 10 people in the first set,and both Jay and Jake were in this heat. They glared at each other,knowing Rara was watching. Both wanted to impress her.

Coach Park lifted the gun.

"On your marks....Set...Go!"

The crowd started screaming as soon as the boys took off.

Jay and Jake were in the lead. Both being pretty athletic.

Jay came in first,Jake being a close second.

"Ha,How You Like That" Jay sniggered at Jake who scowled.

"This is only a tryout,don't exaggerate it. Let's see who wins the real deal!" He frowns.

They turn their attention to Rara who meanwhile walked up to a nervous Sunghoon.

"Aah...I am not sure if running is for me..." He said slowly.

"You got this Hoonie! Just relax and give it your best! I am rooting for you!" She smiles positively.

"You are?" His face glows up as she nods.

"Okay. Hwaiting then!" He cheers up as he shows a fist.

Jake and Jay scoff as they watch the scene from a distance. She wasn't even paying attention to them.

In the second heat of boys,Hoon came in fourth-just enough to qualify.

"Woohoo! You did it Hoonie!!" She goes up and hugs him as he hugs back giggling.

JayKe burn in jealousy.

He just came in fourth and she was celebrating so much. She didn't even spare them a glance for winning.

Next up were the women's tryouts.

"Rara!! Go go!!" Hoon screams from the sidelines as she gives him a thumbs up.

Jay and Jake are watching her with a smile as they hear a couple of other comment next to them.

"Aww...Rara and Hoon support each other so much! They must be a couple!"

"Aniyo!" Both of them yell at once,startling the ones around them.

They have fierce looks,as they watch her.

"On your marks...set...go!"

"Come on Rara! You can do it!" The F3 cheer for her.

Rara is a natural in the field. She eases past her opponents and wins the race eventually.

"Woohoo Raraaaaa!!" Hoon gives her a high five as he hands her a towel which she uses to wipe of the sweat.

"You made me proud!" He chuckles.

"Thanks Hoonie. For getting me back on field."

"What are friends for?" He smiles.

Finally it is time for the announcement of selected ones.

Coach Park
"After due deliberation,the panel and I have come up with this list for the upcoming track and field events. Each and everyone was placed accordingly in such a way,so that we can bring home all the medals!"

The students tensly waited for the results.

"400m Relay Male"

"Yoon Yedam
  Bang Yoondam
  Park Jongseong
And....Sim Jaeyun"

Hoon's face drooped gloomily. Though he won,the boys in the other heats must have been faster,so he didn't make it in. Rara pats him on the back gently.

"400m Relay- Female"

"Han Jia
  Kim Minji
  Oh Haneul
And...Jang Liyah"

"What the actual fu-?" Sunghoon was ready to throw hands but Rara held him back.

"Rara...even that girl- Liyah! Who came in fourth in some heat got into the team! You! You literally placed first and you aren't there??" He spoke in anger.

Jay and Jake were also confused.

"How come Rara isn't there on the team?" Jay wondered.

"That makes absolutely no sense. This is rigged." Jake groans in frustration.

Rara clenches her fist. This is not fair. Not at all. What kind of politics is this?

Just as she was about to go and ask the panel to be transparent with the results,another announcement came.

"And finally,the 4 X 100 Mixed Relay-

Vinnie Kim
Park Sunghoon
Oh Rara

"Ohhh" Rara and Sunghoon looked at each other, a smile slowly crept up to their face.

The mixed relay was a very important part. Their University hs not been able to win it ever since it was first started.

They must get it back this year.

"We did it!" They squealed and jumped around in excitement together.

Coach Park
"You all are required to come to the ground after classes every day for practice. Be sure to be here on time. We are going all in this time! We bring back glory to our Uni! Do you understand?!"

"Yes sir!! All the athletes say in unity.

A new spirit of sportsmanship was ignited in them.

Rara was walking back alone,as Sunghoon had to go back to the rink.

She felt someone's shoulder gently brushing against hers. She looks to her left to find Jaeyun's dreamy dark brown eyes staring back at her.

"What?"

He smiles like a fool as he shakes his head.

"Now I get to spend more time with you~" he hums as he does his 'pointing hand signs' and walks backwards,winking at her.

She shakes her head and walks the other way.

"Such a flirt. He won't get his way around that easily this time."
