(Harm's pov)

Shots were fired, my heart started to pound. I couldn't find Jonah anywhere, no matter how loud I screamed, there wasn't an answer! I had my gun in my grip, as a stood up I saw Jonah "Jonah!!" He looked at me then smiled. He ran to me and held me close, "I love you" He kissed my head then grabbed my hand and started to run. Shots were fired once more, but not into the sky. The shots were fired into me, I look at Jonah then fall to the ground. "J-Jonah?" He looks at me then picks me up and starts to run faster until we were in a safe place. "H-harm, d-don't worry. I'm here!" The medic of the gang came over and got the bullets out. "Jonah, she's lost a lot of blood. You almost got yourself killed trying to save her" I pretended to be asleep just so I could ease drop. "Are you really going to let a girl get you killed? You need to pick your life or a girl?"

(Jonah's POV)
Did this so-called man, just ask me to pick between my life or the woman I love. I looked at the ground then back to the bastard's face. "I'll choose her, over my life, any day! The fact that you want me to decide like that makes me want to kill you right here! But I'm not that type of person!" I say as I walk to harmony and kiss her lips softly. "I plan to marry this beautiful woman one day! You or anyone won't stop me from living my life! Now leave before I change my mind about killing you!" He ran out of the safe house without looking back. I guess, I had a badass effect on people to make them scared of me. "Harm, wake up, babe!" Her eyes fluttered open. "I know you weren't asleep" she smiled brightly, "do you really want to marry me one day?" I smile.

(Harm's POV)
My bones hurt, I touch my side "FUCK!!" I scream. Jonah looks at me and smile, "good morning to you too!" I roll my eyes as a tear falls down my face," What happened last night?" He sighs then holds my hand "you got shot" my eyes widens as I look at my side. "I want to go home!" I couldn't look at his face, I felt as if I almost got him killed because he was trying to keep me safe. "Babe...." He looks at me once more than at the ground "I know what you're thinking, you didn't almost get me killed!" He held my hand then kisses it softly. "Harm, you sort of can't go home." I look at him confused, "what?" I look at him with my eyes filled with fury. " Your brother, would sort of kill me if he found out that I got you shot and almost killed you" I roll my eyes, "you're scared of my brother" he starts to laugh "haha NO! I don't want to kill him!" I raised an eyebrow then look at him. "So how did I get her?" He smiles to looks at me, "I carried you here, babe!" I smile then groan at the pain. "Are you okay?" He looks at me, them back at my side. "I'll get that medic" he stands up and walks out. I try to stand up, but the pain is unbearable, I let out a small scream. Jonah busted through the door and over to me, "Jonah! It hurts!" He pulls me close then the medic walks in "u-uh Mr. Jonah sir" Jonah looked at him then the medic looked at me, but he looked scared. I wonder what happened, the medic looked at my side then sighs "the stitches busted open during the night. "Shit!" Jonah yelled out then looked at me, "AHHHH" I screamed as the medic pushed on my side. "I have to put new stitches in!" I look at Jonah, then a tear falls down my face. The medic starts to stitch me up, I couldn't help but scream at the pain. "Jonah!!!" He held me close then the medic looks up at us "all done sir" Jonah helps me stand up so the medic could wrap me up, "do you want to go home?" He looks at me as I nod. The drive home was quiet, but he held my hand the whole way. When we pulled into the driveway, my brother was standing outside. Jonah got out and walked over to my side and opened the door. He picked me up and started to walk in, "where have you been, Harmony!" Jackson screams at us, I felt Jonah's anger grow, but he stayed calm. "She's been with me, dude" Jackson looked at Jonah with anger. "Jackson, she's fine!" Jonah raised his voice, then sat me down. I held my side as pain struck me, before I knew it I had fallen to my knees "ahhh" Jackson looked at me then back at him. "What did you do to her!" He pushed Jonah back, "what did you do!" He pushed him once more. "Jackson stop!" Jonah looked at me then picked me up. "Jackson, I would rather not fight with you. My girlfriend is in pain and I need to take care of her!" Jonah looks Jackson dead in the eye, "Girlfriend? Like hell!" Jonah sat me in his truck then went to Jackson, "I told you I'm not fighting with your ass!" Jackson pushed Jonah again. Shit, Jonah's going to kill him. Jonah pushes Jackson against the truck.

(Jonah's POV)
I look at Jackson in the eyes, I'm not scared of him. Harmony's in pain, and I'm scared I'll lose her. "Jackson, I'm not fighting with you dickhead!" He looks at me, I push him away. I get harmony out of the truck and take her to her room. I lay her down and lay beside here, "harm, I'm sorry" she smiles at me then plants a kiss on my lips. "Thank you for not fighting with him." She smiles as she kissed me once more. She lies on my chest and falls to sleep, I stay up most of the night making sure her wound doesn't come open again. She held me close, like she thought I would leave, but I'm not going anywhere. Does she think I'll leave? I thought about it for a while. I got up to get some water, Jackson sat on the stairs quietly. He looked up to see me, "hey dude, can we talk?" I look at him and nod, then sat down beside him. "Look, I'm sorry. Ever since dad died, I'm scared to lose her. She's tried to kill herself once, you saved her. It hurts because her big brother wasn't there like I promised her" I look at him and sigh. "Dude, I understand. I'm scared to lose her too, that day that it happened. I've never cried so much in my life, she's all that I have, I love her with all my heart. I almost lost that beautiful soul once, and I don't plan to let it happen again. Dude, I'm going to marry her one day." He looks at me and smiles, "dude, are we good?" I laugh, "yeah man, we find, don't worry about it." He looks at me, then at his phone. "Man, I have to be honest with you. It would be an honor, If you married my sister" I smile, then push him over a bit. "Dude, that means a lot. I think I'm going to wait for a while. I'm still trying to get to graduation." He laughs then sighs, "just be good to her, she's all that we have. I never see mom anymore, she's probably out with her new boyfriend" we laugh then I walk back to her room. "Night dude" I lay down by her and rub her head.
