Ɓen finished lacing up the back of Rey's dress. He leaned down towards her ear. "You look beautiful," he whispered.
Rey smiled. "Thank you," she looked at him through the mirror in front of her. "So do you."
He looked up at his reflection, he was covered in scars. "Rey, you don't have to lie to make me feel better. I know that I..." he trailed off.
Rey looked at him noticing that he was looking at the scar that trailed down his cheek. She turned to face him. "Ben, I love you just the way you are. I wouldn't change anything about you," she touched the scar on his cheek. "You are the most beautiful person I know, both inside and out." She hugged him. "Please stop thinking that you're not good enough for me. I believe that God created us to be together."
He kissed her forehead.
She looked up at him. "When we have a baby, I hope that it will look like you."
He smiled at her. "Well I hope our baby will look like you." He touched her stomach as though hoping to feel movement or slight swelling there. "Do you think you might be pregnant?"
Rey smiled at him. "You've asked me that every day for the past week. I told you it's still too soon for me to know."
Ben looked down, disappointed. "I know, I'm just excited about starting a family with you. I mean we're already a family, but I think it would be wonderful to have children."
Rey smiled. "Me too."
He led her over to the chair in front of the vanity and began combing her hair.
"How many children do you want?" he asked as he pulled her hair up into a bun.
Rey sat there thoughtfully.
She turned to look at him, offering a small smile. "As many as God will give us. I think it would be nice to have a big family."
She stood up and kissed his cheek. "What about you?"
"Well, I want to have more than one. Growing up as an only child was lonely, and I know that you know how that feels too."
Rey nodded.
"I do want to have a big family, but only if it makes you happy," he replied. "I don't want you to say that's what you want just to make me happy."
"It would make me happy," she answered sincerely.
He leaned down to kiss her lips. He pressed his forehead against hers as they pulled apart. "Well, then I suppose I can be honest, I would love to have ten or even twelve...if that's not too many?"
Rey giggled as she imagined ten beautiful children who all had black curls and dark eyes just like him. "That sounds nice."
He smiled. "Then we better start thinking of some names."
"Yes, we should." Rey tied the thongs on his tunic, then smoothed out the wrinkles in the fabric, moving her hands along his chest.
He watched her intently, cherishing the closeness he felt to her. He enjoyed mornings like this when they were able to help each other get ready for the day. It wasn't always easy to convince the servants to let them do so though. He and Rey were both independent, and even after a month they still weren't used to being waited on. But mostly they preferred being able to help each other get dressed. It was a special intimate part of their day, when they could talk and spend time together. Lately, they had mostly been talking about the family they hoped to have.
But he didn't mind when Rose wanted to help Rey though; he knew how much she needed a sister.
"I was thinking we could name one of them after your father and mother," Ben suggested.
"That would be nice," she replied, laying her head on his chest. "My mother's name was Kira."
"That's a beautiful name, I think it's perfect," he replied.
"I have to go help Rose get ready, the wedding is going to be in a few hours. I will see you soon." She tiptoed to kiss his cheek.
He nodded. "See you soon, darling."

Rey walked down the hall to Rose's room. She knocked lightly on the door.
"Who is it?" Rose asked.
"Rey," she replied.
"Come in," she heard Rose call.
Rey opened the door to find a group of servants helping Rose put on the beautiful wedding gown.
Rey went over and helped Rose lace up the back of her dress. Rose had done it for her so many times, it felt nice to return the favor.
"Excited?" Rey asked.
Rose smiled. "Yes, I've waited for this for a long time."
Rey nodded. "I'm so happy for you both. Are you nervous?"
"A little," Rose confessed.
"So was I," Rey answered. "But don't worry, there's nothing to be nervous about. I'm sure that you and Finn will have a wonderful life together."
Rose nodded.

When Rey was finished doing Rose's hair, they both stepped out into the hallway to find Ben waiting for them. He pulled Rose into a hug wanting to remind her that he loved her as a sister. He didn't want her to feel like she didn't have any family, especially today. He wanted to be a brother to her, he knew he couldn't replace her sister or her parents, but he also knew how lonely she must feel. She was one of the first people to forgive him and that was one of the reasons he'd become so close to her.
"You look beautiful, Finn will be amazed when he sees you," he said.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"Are you nervous?" he asked.
She nodded.
"Don't worry, I'll be right beside you the whole time," Ben answered.
"Thank you, it means so much to me that you're willing to do this for me," she answered.
He nodded, smiling at her. "And if he ever hurts you, I'll tie him to a tree again."
"You wouldn't really do that?" she asked.
He smiled and patted her on the top of her head. "Hey, nobody hurts my baby sister."
Rose smiled at him. "Don't worry, he is a good man, he wouldn't do anything like that."
Ben nodded. "I know, if he wasn't I wouldn't let him marry you."
Ben kissed her forehead tenderly then went over to Rey and kissed her lips.
"Are you ready?" he asked Rose.
She took a deep breath. "Yes."
Ben smiled at her.
