Twenty Seven 𒆜 Like Leaves In The Wind
He found her walking, along a silent neighborhood street. Street lights, hazy in the low hanging mist, cast an eerie reflection against his windshield and he almost drove right by her, except the hair along his arms and up the back of his neck stood up and he pulled the car over, right there and got out walking to the back.
She walked with purpose as she had done since the day he met her but her shoulders were hunched over in the damp chill of the night air.
He walked a few feet in her direction and stopped. Again, he was picking up on a thought or an impression of interest and it was not coming from Belicia.
She had blocked him completely from her essence so he knew for a fact, something dark and dangerous lurked in the shadows, but he didn't dare take the time to discover the orgin. His heart beat dully against his chest.
He had wanted to bring Bel's Kitsune forth with her complete agreement and desire. Not like this. Not with uncertainty hanging between them. He knew how much he loved her but he desperately wanted her love in return. He hated feeling like he might be stealing her feelings from herself. He groaned inwardly but continued on, heading toward her and she looked up but her eyes stared right past him and a lump formed in his throat.
When she walked right past him without a word he stopped and said her name into the darkness.
Belicia heard him and grit her teeth. She had no fancy to indulge him, in fact what she wanted more than anything was to forget he even existed or punch him in the face but her name on his lips mesmerized her, and a strange, craving urge made her stop. She stood there for long breathless moments in the dark and finally she turned around.
His back was to her. He had stopped where she passed him. His head hung down in defeat and she sensed his strangled thoughts. She searched his essence, his soul, his intentions.
She felt the sorrow that enveloped him like molasses and the crushing defeat she felt in his heart moved her. Her arms dropped to her sides from where she had them crossed over her chest and suddenly she found herself walking in a hurried clip, back to him. A cry escaped her as he turned, and when she reached him, he bared his soul before her, opening his arms to whatever she chose to bring at him, but she walked straight into his pulsing essence and when they fell into each other arms their essence fused and he gasped audibly, embracing her.
His warmth fused into her bones. A violent wind picked up around them and she clung to him as the sound of an ancient pitch cadence resonated in her blood. It released a frequency through her body that resulted in an irreversible exchange of their essence.
"Baby, hold on to me," he growled, his voice husky with potent ecstasy.
He heard her cry out as an iridescent aura emanated around them and his Kitsune rushed inside her, filling her with levels of mushrooming waves of power, until her body quaked and began to shift.
She felt her skin quiver, stretching and cracking with a life of its own as it gave way to something she could not stop, and she did not want it to stop. She relaxed and let it happen, closing her eyes in raptured bliss.
Koya watched her face with rapture as her body received his Kitsune and shifted. It was a miraculous moment, and he felt weak with the exchange. A rumble erupted from Koya as he shifted.
After the initial melding Belicia shifted to various features until the transformation was complete and she retained her human form. Her eyes fluttered open and as their gazes met she suddenly found herself inside him, her Kitsune running rampant with joy. Koya's fox descended and his teeth settled on her neck, puncturing the skin with a mark she would wear forever more.
As his body returned to its human form his lips crashed down on hers and he kissed her with fiery abandon bringing his arms up around her back between her shoulder blades to envelope her with safety. He felt the moment she released herself to him and he drew back taking her face in his hands and looked into those amber flecked eyes which held a new mystery within them.
"My beautiful, beloved Kitsune," he murmured. "I love you," he whispered hoarsely.
Without words Belicia communicated to him of her forever faithful love as he walked them to his car opening her door for her and she got in. He got in beside her, started the engine and took the wheel.
"Are we going to Ava's?"
"No, love. Your parents are home waiting for us. There is much you need to know and your mother will explain."
"My mother?" Belicia asked.
"Mmhmm," Koya nodded. "It's a long story and goes back generations. My parents will be there as well. It is a tale of fated ancestry. Like leaves in the wind," Koya smiled. "Blowing without destiny but somehow, landing where they are meant to be."

Hidden among the shadowed eaves of a nearby home, Desiree Dunn watched with growing fascination, as Belicia's body received its predestined divinity and Desiree shook with an almost orgasmic desire watching it happen.
Bel was one of them now and even if Desiree hadn't been the one to bring her to the ecstasy laced moment, what was that to her. When she had kissed Bel earlier in the evening at Noah's she'd seen the look of surprise and then realization on Koya's face and she reveled in it for a moment.
He would surely know now, why she had kissed Bel. The thing was, Bel didn't know why. So it had gone unanswered.
Well, you couldn't blame a girl for trying, Desiree thought wryly.
He may have thwarted her designs for now, but she had time. They had a whole entire year of school left and she knew they would not be jetting Bel off to their mountain in the sky anytime soon.
She'd have to remind herself to thank Koya later, for getting Tuto out of the way. That made everything a whole lot easier. Of course, she would have done it herself if she had her abilities.
It was so hard to live without them.
But Belicia could help her with that. And Desiree was determined to make it happen. She needed Bel, and Koya was either going to have to share, or give her up all together, but Desiree didn't see him doing either one willingly.
Desiree sighed and slinked away to the place where she had hidden her car.
Tomorrow was another day, she told herself and placated her annoyance with the thought of seeing Bel in school next week.
A low, guttural, yapping howl of anguish escaped her against her will as she slipped off into the night.
THE END... for now, :D
