A Deal With The Devil

"Are you fucking kidding me, Isabella?!" Edward bellowed at me in shock as I saw everyone in the café turn their attention to us.

"I knew you won't believe me but I saw it in my own eyes, Ed," I replied desperately. If not Ed then I didn't know there was anyone who would trust me. Whom I could trust.

"And what do you think you're going to do now?" He asked me in a calm voice but his expression looked like he was literally pissed off.

"I think I-I've to go to talk with him now."

"Can you understand what're you talking about? If I assume what you've just said is true then do you think the police would believe me if that creature do something to you?" His voice was impatient and I had never seen him this angry before.

"Ed, please calm down and try to understand my situation too. I can't always live in your house and I promised mom to take care of that house in her absence. It'll be just a negotiation. Plus I've saved his life, he won't dare to ki-"

"How do you know?! Fuck Isabella, he's a monster. Didn't you hear the reports of girls missing? I'm sure it's none other than him. What if he also-"

He stopped abruptly and faced in another direction to control his outburst. I saw as he clenched and unclenched his jaw to suppress his emotions.

"Isabella, I'll make up with a way to gain your house back. Just give me some time. But please, don't risk your life with those dangerous thoughts. I would be damned if something happens to you." Holding my palm together he pleaded me with my eyes and I just nodded my head wearily.

I didn't know how long it would take before he showed up again.

Because if he would, I wouldn't hesitate to at least try to negotiate with him. I couldn't always let Ed be bothered by my problems. He had already done so much for me. I had to solve my problems on my own.

Reaching for my pocket I picked up the lock and entered my home.

The home that didn't belong to me anymore.

Tears prickled my eyes at the thought of leaving the house forever.

Everything became too much for me. I hoped I never went out that night. Things wouldn't have changed then.

Opening my room door I gasped out loud to see Sap- Beast King was sitting on my bed in his magnificent glory. His eyes— now bluish yellow were fixated on me, nervously holding the door handle.

"Yo-you?" I managed to whisper and in a flash he was there, stood in front of me.

I gulped audibly to see his intimidating height towering over my tiny frame. A dangerous amount of power was emitting from him and if not for his oh-so-attractive face I would run and never turn back.

But something in him was holding me. Pulling me in like a spider web.

"So, did you already decide your wish, Bella?" My heart skipped a beat by the way he pronounced my nickname. It was the most satisfying sound I had ever heard after my mother's death. I found it surprising that I liked him calling me Bella which I didn't even let Ed call me.

Looking up at him, I saw his face was mere inches away from me. His orbs were swirling back and forth between Blue and yellow. I had to stop inhaling for the closeness of his rather cold breath fanning over my face.

"I-i want you to gi-give me back my house," he raised an eyebrow at me. "We can co-come up with anything more profitable for you?"

I saw keenly as a dark look gloomed his features before his lips twitched upwards in a slight smirk.

'That's it. I again doomed myself.'

"Are you sure, Bella?" His voice was magnetic, tugging me into an abyss.

Into his abyss.

"So be it. I want you to come with me to my castle. You've to work there as a maid until you pay off your father's debt."
