Eli's POV

It's been a few weeks since coming back from Cancun. I haven't seen nor heard of Gia.

She hasn't really been coming around to our circle. She must be all up on Nathan. The thought of it bothers me so much.

Lately, I've been going to Gold's Industry Enterprise. My father and grandfather have taking me under their wing to show me around and even let me make a few minor decisions for the company.

I'm starting my first day at my company as my grandfather's personal assistant next week.

I'm currently meeting Ray at the bar to grab a few drinks. I know what your thinking, what am I doing hanging out with Gia's ex who I beat up in high school? Well as crazy at it sounds he's actually a cool dude and we've gotten along since Cancun.

"Hey bro", Ray says shaking my hand taking a seat next to me at the bar.

"Two beers", I say to the bartender.

"How's life?"

"Crazy.. my baby momma be tripping sometimes", Rays sighs.

"You should of used the rubber", I chuckle taking a swig of my beer.

"It was one time I got carried away", he snorts.

"One time is enough.. didn't you learn anything in sex ed?", I shake my head.

"I was to busy checking out my fine ass teacher to listen to shit", Ray gulps his beer.

"Your a fool"

"Enough about me.. wassup with you?", Ray steers.

"Nothing much just starting my first day at work at my company next week", I respond.

"Cool cool.. are you and Gia friends yet?", he raises a brow.

"No, honestly I can't be friends with her because I know I'll always be wanting more", I truthfully say.

"You fucked up bro", Ray teases.

"Like you", I retort.

"I know", he huffs sipping the last of his beer.

"That day you broke up with her.. she was so devastated.. you really hurt her, she was like a zombie for months and it literally took all of us to give her an intervention", Ray adds.

"For real? Fuck I feel more shitty now.. believe it or not I was fucked up too.. the day I broke things off with her.. I was never the same still ain't the same", I confess.

"Why you do it bro?", Ray furrows his brows intently waiting on my response.

"My father convinced me to break up with her.. he's always been a good talker. He saw me as trash that day for doing what I did. Gia was progressing a lot and going into the right path and my father saw me only pulling her back. I was facing 25 to life. I eventually agreed that I wasn't good for her and I didn't want her waiting for me putting her life on hold. I wanted the best for Gia even if it was without me. Believe me it was fucking hard breaking her heart the horrible fucked up shit I said to her that day. The way she was crying and begging me broke me, but I couldn't go back I had to end things for her to keep progressing. And oh boy did she progress alright"

"Wow that's deep.. why did you do it?", Ray asks.

"Do what?", I furrow my brows at him.

"Murder those people at that warehouse?"

"They were a threat.. they wanted to kill Gia", I huff finally after four years I get to let another soul know the truth behind that bloody night.

"What the fuck! Are you serious! Why? does Gia know that?", Ray eyes widen a baffled expression plastered on his face.

"I used to be a drug dealer working for them and no she doesn't know ", I sigh.

"Damn I never knew that, yet again I wouldn't know since I hated your guts in high school", Ray firmly says.

I chuckle at his remark. This guys really has great humor.

"You need to tell her this Eli", he adds giving me a serious face.

"She's moved on.. her heart belongs to someone else now", I frown not really believing I'm saying this.

Ray just beams at me almost like he's examining me closely.

"Well I gotta go bro", I say getting off of the chair shaking his hand.

"Nice catching up see ya"

Gia's POV

"Babe do you want red chili or green chili for the fajitas?"

"Red!", Nathan responds.

I'm currently cooking dinner as Nathan watches his sports game.

10 minutes later and I'm finally done.
"Come and eat", I shout.

"Dinner was so delicious thanks", Nathan kisses my cheek as I wash the dishes.

My phone starts to ring and I go grab it noticing it's Ray.

I hang up on Ray thinking about what he said. I can feel a huge headache making its presence as I think about why Ray is so persistent about me talking to Eli.

Wait? Since when is Ray worried about Eli?

"Babe!"

"Yeah?", Nathan responds.

"I'm going to my mom's house real quick gotta pick up a new blender", I say heading out the door.

"Okay drive safe"

Eli's POV

I'm currently doing my daily work out plus shoot with my old boxing coach that likes to call himself Master Ramirez from when I was a young kid.

"Thank you for being this years boxing model to promote my gym", Master Ramirez thankfully grins.

"It's an honor", I smile patting his back.

Master Ramirez has taught me a lot about how to give good blows to people who mess with me. Thanks to him plus real life practice I know what I know about fighting.

"Oh by the way there's a young lady asking for you out there", master Ramirez waggles his brows at me.

I furrow my brows wondering who could it possibly be. The only person that knows of this place is Ray since I brought him in here one time.

I make my way towards the exit of the building. I come to a complete halt as my eyes widen seeing the one person I wasn't expecting at all. I can feel my heart beat slow then rapidly as my body heat goes up immediately.

Our eyes lock intently beaming at each other. Her cheeks start turning a bright pinkish/reddish color and she scratches her arm. A soft smile forms on her smooth plump lips causing me to smirk.

Gia
