Gia's POV

"Let's shower", Eli insists trying to pull me up from the bed.

"My whole body feels so sore", I whine fighting against his grip.

"Was I to rough?", he croaks out scratching the back of his head.

Let's just say I could tell Eli really missed me

"No I'm fine", I reassure him.

"Come on then, he groans lifting me up over his shoulder.

"Cheater"

Once we were dressed. We headed down stairs to watch TV.

"Are you hungry?", Eli asks while looking through his fridge.

"No", I respond not feeling hungry.

"What do you mean no? Look at you babe your so thin", he frowns.

"I'm just not hungry right now", I mumble feeling awkward.

"Too bad I'm ordering pizza"

I really missed Eli always taking care of me.

30 minutes later

"Pizza is here babe", Eli shouts across the room as he pays the delivery guy.

My stomach begins to growl as I sniff the delicious smell I haven't smelled in so long.

"What movie should we watch?", I shout back.

"What are the options boss?", he chuckles placing the pizza on the coffee table along with two plates.

"Paranormal Activity or Mean Girls?"

"Definitely not Mean Girls", he splutters opening our drinks.

"Meanie!"

"Don't worry babe we'll see it after gosh"

"I'm going home after its getting late dork"

"No your not your spending the night with me"

"I have to enroll in school again tomorrow", I sigh.

"No problem I'll take you", he winks as he takes a big bite of his meat lovers pizza.

"Your not going to leave me alone not even for a second are you?", I tease.

"Nope", he grins draping his arm over my shoulder.

I giggle feeling flattered and loved.

I take a bite of my pizza and immediately my stomach feels the grease making me gassy.

"Stop farting", Eli teases me as he laughs.

"Shut up you wanted to feed me now you pay the consequences", I snort grabbing another slice.

"Gosh I love you. I really was a mess without you.. I'm so fucking happy your finally in my arms again", Eli says as he lovingly stares at me.

"Eli I promise I'll never leave you alone ever again. I'm so sorry about everything", I sigh feeling guilty for putting him through this.

"Babe lets leave it behind us now okay", he sighs cuffing my cheek.

Oh how I missed this man

"I'm going to be placed in house arrest in a couple of days", I change the subject.

"I know that's why tomorrow after school your coming with me to finish my sleeve"

"I can't wait", I squeal.

My mom's phone begins to ring and I pick it up seeing the screen.

"What did your mom say?, Eli chirps in.

"Nothing just reminding me about tomorrow", I plainly respond.

"So are you ready to start looking for our own place?", Eli wiggles his brows.

"Babe I'm going to be in house arrest for a month, so we'll have to wait for that to be over with", I huff rolling my eyes.

"Baby don't worry it'll pass by fast you'll see", Eli strokes my arm hugging me tight.

He's right everything will happen within its time no need to rush anything.

"Are you still doing errands?", I mumble.

I didn't want to bring this up at all, but I must know.

"Babe", he groans.

"Elias I have a right to know", I sternly say.

"Yes"

"What are we going to do about this? You can't be in that any longer babe", I sigh shaking my head.

"Don't worry it'll all be over soon okay", Eli reassures me.

"You promise?", I mutter under my breath as I slump my shoulders.

"I promise", Eli cuffs my cheek intently making eye contact with me.

For some reason as I beam through his beautiful emerald green eyes I see something that sort of startles me.

I can see he's dead serious about leaving the drug dealing business very soon.

Which I'm glad, but I hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

"I'm sleepy", I mutter as I yawn stretching my arms out.

"It's only 8:00", Eli grumbles.

"Babe you should know how juvenile hall is. You do adapt to their schedule and I was barely released a couple of hours ago dork", I chuckle standing up from the couch.

In juvenile hall we went to bed at 8 p.m. and wake up at 6 in the morning to eat breakfast and do our daily exercises.

"I know lets go to sleep then", he gestures standing up from the couch as well.

We both head back upstairs to his room.

I quickly scurry on the bed getting under the covers.

What a difference from laying on an actual comfortable bed compared to the 1 inch mattress I had to sleep on for an entire month.

Eli crawls into the covers draping his arm over my waist pulling me closer to his body.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

My eyes suddenly begin to shut as drowsiness takes over.

There's no place like home

The next day

"Are you ready", Eli hastily grumbles.

"Yes gosh", I sneer.

"You take forever", he groans grabbing his car keys.

"It's my first day back into society leave me alone", I roll my eyes.

I decided to wear a navy blue tank top with black ripped jeans with black converse.

I straighten my hair feeling to lazy to do anything special to it.

As for my face I just put on moisturizer. I applied mascara onto my eye lashes and curled them up.

"Let's go", Eli demands pulling me by the hand and out the door we were.

"Stop acting like a dad", I sternly say crossing my arms across my chest.

"I don't want us to be late babe that's all", he pouts.

"Don't do that face!", I warn holding back my smile that's fighting me right now.

Eli pouts even more whimpering.

"Your forgiven", I snort no longer being able to stay mad at him.

"Your so beautiful", he suddenly splutters lovingly looking at me.

I can't help, but blush at his compliment. How did I ever get so lucky?

"Welcome back!", all my friends shout excitement filling the air.

Overwhelmed by all of the love and hugs by everyone my vision begins to blur.

"Don't cry Gia", Veronica strokes my back.

"I'm not I'm just really happy right now", I mutter under my breath trying to actually not cry.

"Hey guys", Claudia chirps in barely arriving to school.

"Hi", I croak out.

"Wow your so thin", is all Claudia says with a stern expression.

I furrow my brows at her weird behavior towards me.

"Come on babe", Eli grumbles with a sneer expression.

I nod, ignoring Claudia's stern glares she was throwing at Eli.

Just as we were about to leave to class. My body froze not being able to move at all.

I was paralyzed. My stomach turns into many knots making me feel suddenly ill.

My eyes almost bulged out of their sockets as my lips begin to quietly shake.

When I heard an all too familiar deep voice I haven't heard in 2 straight years and I never thought I would ever hear that voice again.

To be honest that's what I at least hoped for.

"Gia"

"Gia is that you?"

"We need to talk now", Lulu nervously whispers as she runs over to me gripping my arm.

I didn't say a word to Lulu nor did I dare make a move even if I wanted to make a move I couldn't.

My eyes trail over to Eli who has a confused face expression as he take glances at me and at the person who's calling me from behind.

Some how I managed to turn slowly to face this person.

I swallow down hard the lump that was stuck in the back of my throat.

My eyes land on those familiar dark chocolate brown eyes I haven't seen in so long.

Those very same eyes that beamed at me while my heart shattered into a million pieces.

"It's been a long time", he smirks.
