Gia's POV

Today is the day of my release, so I'm being escorted to the registration unit.

I quickly glance over seeing Davina and Bianca standing near the classroom waving bye.

I smile at them, but quickly frown knowing I won't be seeing them anymore until they're released.

"Come on", Officer K mutters under her breath.

I turn around, so she can hand cuff me. Once hand cuffed we exit the unit that's been my temporary home for a month.

After walking down many hallways, I notice a another officer walking behind a tall tan skinned male walking opposite of us.

One thing about being in juvenile hall is that females and males never mix.

It's crazy how we're both locked in the same building, but never cross paths.

As we walk closer down the hall my eyes widen as I recognize this person.

Gabriel

It took everything in me to not say anything to make him look my way.

However it's like he sensed my staring because he suddenly looks back.

His face brightens up when he notices me, but then he furrows his brows.

By the looks of his face I can tell he's confused as to why am I even here.

Gabriel disappears once he turns to a corner at the end of the hallway.

I wonder how long he's doing

We enter the registry room as officer K hands my mattress to another officer.

"Your mother brought you clothes Hun", the female officer softly says handing me a plastic bag with a pink t-shirt and gray tights along with a fresh pair of undergarments.

As I walk over to the changing room the officer stands on the door frame monitoring me.

I absolutely hated having to change in front of strangers. I'm so glad this is the last time I would ever have to go through this.

Once I was fully clothed, I throw the pink shirt and brown pants in the dirty laundry bucket near the changing room.

"Ready?", Officer K smiles.

"Yes I'm ready", I respond following her into a room.

"Mom", I squeal a huge smile forms on my lips as I see my other standing next to my lawyer.

Officer K takes the hand cuffs off of me and I quickly run up to hug my mother tight.

"I hope you won't be back here", a familiar voice speaks up.

I pull away from my mom's arms and turn to see Jaslina my probation officer.

"I won't", I bluntly respond still feeling a certain way towards her.

"We shall meet up in a few days to discuss house arrest", Mr. Naboa informs Jaslina as she nods in agreement.

I forgot about house arrest

Great

However I don't care as longest I'm out free in the world where I can be around my mom, Eli, and friends.

Speaking of Eli where is he

"Where's Eli?", I croaked out.

"He's at a meeting with his grandfather", My mother responds with a smile.

Once my mother and lawyer signed paperwork. We exited the building.

It's been a whole month that I've been boxed up away from the world.

I should feel excited, but in a way I feel weird almost as if it's hard to believe I'm actually free now.

As we step out the door away from the building I feel the cold breeze hit my face making my hair fly back.

The smell of wet dirt and the feel of the wind confirms I'm officially free..

I look up to see the beautiful baby blue sky with little clouds drifting blocking the sun from shining bright.

The trees blowing back and forth as the wind hits making the leaves fly everywhere.

Being locked up for a while sure made me appreciate nature.

"You okay baby girl?", my mom asks suddenly.

"Yes just taking a while to adjust I guess", I say giving her a small smile.

"Do you want anything to eat?", my mom asks as we get near our neighborhood.

"No I already ate breakfast in there", I say watching out the window everything we pass by.

"Can you drop me off at Eli's house?", I quickly add feeling anxious to see him.

"Your roots are really grown out. I'm going to take you to get your hair dyed before you see him", my mom snorts.

I can't help, but snort along with her. I haven't seen myself for a whole month since mirrors aren't allowed in there.

40 minutes later

We arrive at a hidden salon in Jcpenny. This is the same place I got my balayage highlights at.

"Hello how may I assist you?", a pretty hair stylist in her mid 30's beams at my mother and I.

"My daughter would like to dye her hair", my mother responds with a smile encouraging me take a seat on the chair.

"what would you like to do with it Hun?"

I look at myself for the first time in a month and let me tell you my mom wasn't joking about my roots being overgrown.

My hair grew so much as well as me losing so much weight. I look so scrawny I dislike it. Also my skin color brighten up 3 shades lighter.

"I want to go back to my brunette hair", I mumble feeling unsure.

"No problem", the hair stylist says as she gets everything ready.

"Also I would like to trim my hair it's a bit too long", I smile.

"Okie dokie", she giggles.

I need a change for a new beginning

1 hour later

"All done", the hair stylist says spinning me around to see the mirror.

"I love it", I squeal loving the results of it.

After my mother pays, We head towards the car.

"Now take me to Eli", I demand not wanting to waste no more time away from him.

"You don't want to change clothes?", she furrows her brows.

"No, I need to see him as soon as possible it's been a whole month mom please!", I practically beg.

"Fine", she giggles.

49 minutes later

My mom stops in front of Eli's mansion.

My heart is thumping so fast feeling nervous to see Eli.

A part of me is nervous as fuck to see his gorgeous face as the other part is excited to feel his touch again.

"Thank you", I gratefully place a small kiss on my mom's cheek.

"Your welcome baby.. Here take my phone call me when you want me to pick you up", she says handing me her phone.

I grab the phone along with my new beige backpack my mother bought me at the store.

"I love you", I genuinely say as I walk away towards Eli front door.

My mother drives out of the driveway disappearing in the corner.

After three knocks no one answers I'm guessing no ones home.

Eli must not be back from the meeting yet

I decide to make a phone call to Lulu which I fucking miss so much.

I'm baaaaaack

Lulu lets out a loud long scream that hurts my ears through the phone.

I laugh so loud imagining her face right now.

I need to see you now I miss you so much

Gia
Come pick me up at Eli's house

Aww you saw him already

Gia
Unfortunately no I came to surprise him, but he's not home

Lulu
I'm on my way stay put

Before I can say anything Lulu hangs up. I can already imagine her speeding all the way over here.

While I wait for Lulu I send a text to Eli.

Thankfully I memorized his number by heart when I was locked up.

Text message to Eli
Hey babe it's Gia, as you know I'm out now I dropped by your place, but your not home. I'll be at Lulu's place.

It sucked not being able to see Eli yet. Hopefully I get to see him soon.

Beep beep!

I hear a car's horn as I look up realizing its Lulu.

"I missed you!", Lulu sniffles.

"I missed you too", I hug her tight a tear slipping down my cheek.

I really did miss my best friend this whole time.

"When did you dye your hair?"

"Two and half hours ago", I chuckle.

"I love it", she squeals.

"Your so skinny you lost too much weight Gia", Lulu splutters a glossy sheen on her brown eyes.

"The food there isn't greasy at all you know plus the exercises there are very effective"

The whole car ride to her house she was telling me about everything that has happened with Jesiah, school, and with her family.

This girl really needed to elaborate I can tell.

"Lock the door", Lulu mutters.

"Tell me everything! How was it being locked up?", Lulu asks looking at me intently.

I start from the very beginning.

Eli's POV

The 5 hour meeting was finally over.

Today is the day I've been eagerly and desperately waiting for.

Gia gets released today.

I really wanted to be there, but my grandfather wanted to introduce me to future partners, for when I take over later on.

I pull out my phone to see a text message from an hour ago.

Hey babe it's Gia, as you know I'm out now I dropped by your place, but your not home. I'll be at Lulu's place.

My eyes widen as my heart begins to thump fast.

Anxiety takes over me within seconds.

I need to see her now

Gia's POV

"Damn Gia even in juvenile hall you be turning up", Lulu laughs playfully slapping my arm.

"It was self defense", I chuckle.

I felt my mom's phone vibrate. I look at the screen seeing a text message from Eli.

I squeal feeling so excited to finally see the love of my life.

"He's on his way isn't he?", Lulu chirps in.

"Yes I'm going to wait outside", I smile.

"I'm so glad I saw you first ", Lulu winks.

I grin while putting on one of Lulu's olive hats to look more presentable for when I see my love.

After hugging Lulu. I take a seat outside her stairs.

I start to play candy crush on my mom's phone while I wait on Eli to arrive.

Eli's POV

I have no idea how many red lights I passed just to get to Gia quicker.

Doing a complete stop I rush out of the car heading towards Lulu's house.

There the most beautiful girl in the world sat on the stairs.

The girl that changed me

The girl that I completely fell in love with

The girl I missed so fucking much

The girl I'm going to marry

The girl that's finally free and back in my arms.

For some reason I lost the ability to speak. I just walked silently never breaking my gaze away from her.

I frown as I notice how much weight Gia lost. I haven't seen her for a month, she's so thin.

Also I noticed her hair color is different. She's a brunette now.

When did she dye it?

"Babe?", I mumble feeling all sorts of emotions.

Gia quickly looks up straight at me.

Oh my those hazel eyes sparkled in the sun light almost appearing fully green.

"Baby!", Gia sniffles as she abruptly stands up hugging me tight.

I instantly wrap my arms around her waist definitely feeling her bones.

She's so thin

"You have no idea how much I fucking missed you", I mumble out holding back my tears.

Suddenly I feel my shoulder begin to feel wet from Gia's tears.

"Don't cry baby", I stroke her back trying to comfort her.

"I'm so happy to be in your arms again Eli", she mutters under her sobs.

I missed her touch, her scent, her face, her body, her smile, her laughs, her love, and most importantly I missed her.

I dreaded for this day so much and now it's finally here.

I'm never letting Gia go ever again.

I pull away from her tight hug as I cuff her cheek looking intently into her glossy eyes.

I lean down smashing our lips onto each other.

Our lips moving in sync together very passionately.

I can tell we both longed for this kiss for so long.

Everything around us disappeared only us existing in this moment.

I can feel Jr Bulge out like crazy making it obvious he missed his mate very much.

"Well hello Jr", Gia chuckles as she steps back from my bulge.

"Let me show you how much we both missed you baby", my husky voice whispers into her ear.

Before Gia can respond I pick her up throwing her over my shoulder heading towards karma.

"Babe!"
