We arrived at a skate arena decorated with all kinds of Christmas lights with a huge Christmas tree above the whole view as Christmas songs played.

"I've never seen anything so beautiful", I mutter under my breath admiring the view ahead of me.

"Hey hey I thought I was the most beautiful you've ever seen?", Eli raises a brow.

"Yes Eli your #1 don't worry", I say rolling my eyes.

He smiles wide like a little spoiled boy that he is.

We are now waiting in line to purchase our skates.

Tonight was pretty cold, but I didn't mind at all since I'm in New York.

We finally received our skates putting them on leaving our shoes and belongings into a locker Eli payed for.

"Yes?", He responds as we head up towards the arena.

"I don't know how to ice skate", I say nervously.

"No problem I'll teach you", he smirks holding me tight by the waist.

As soon as my feet touch the ice floor my legs began to wobble like a baby deer learning how to walk for the first time.

I quickly held onto the rail not wanting to fall on my ass.

Eli chuckles, "come on babe it's easy".

"No it's scary! It's a thin line between life and death!", I scoff holding onto the rail like my life depends on it.

"Yes I do", I reply looking at him.

Suddenly I let go of the rail holding onto him as he held me tight.

We started moving slowly getting closer into the crowd.

It's been 10 minutes and I'm still standing on my feet.

"I think I'm getting the hang of this", I say smirking at Eli.

He just winks at me giving me a kiss on my forehead as we start to skate faster.

I looked at this elderly couple who were holding hands while skating.

Snapping my head away from them to look at my soulmate I realized there was no sign of Eli.

"Over here", I hear a familiar deep voice say to my right.

I turn my eyes locking with those gorgeous Emerald green eyes I love so much.

"Eli?!", I scowl.

"Look at you skating on your own.. Congratulations", he winks.

As soon as I realize what he said, I smile as I do a little dance of celebration for learning how to skate.

It's been an hour and a half that we've been skating around the arena.

We decided to leave getting our stuff from our locker taking the skates off.

We handed over our skates to the worker leaving hand in hand out of the arena area.

"It's 10:15 p.m.  Before the countdown begins babe", Eli says looking at his cell phone.

I nod, "let's get something to eat?".

"I know the prefect place", Eli winks pulling me with him as we walk.

20 minutes later

We head into Pizza my heart, as soon as we step in I sniff the delicious smell floating in the air.

We head over taking a seat in a booth for two.

Eli signals a waitress who starts to head over to us.

"What can I get you Eli?", The elderly waitress smiles getting her notepad with a pen out of her pocket.

"Hello Martha nice seeing you.. Can I get half combination and...", Eli turns to me, "what do you want babe?".

"Hawaiian", I reply smiling over to Martha.

She smiles back at me while writing down on her notepad.

"Who's this beautiful young lady?" , She asks glancing back at Eli.

"This beautiful goddess is Gia.. My girlfriend", he responds never breaking eye contact with me.

"Nice to meet you Gia... I'm Martha... I've been knowing Eli and his family for quite awhile now whenever they visit NY" , she says extending her hand to shake mine.

I quickly shake hers smiling at her, "Nice to meet you too and they're obsessed with pizza huh?" I asks chuckling.

"Yes it's crazy", she replies chuckling along with me.

"Don't hate", Eli throws his hands up.

"I'm not hating babe I'm more of a Tacos kind of gal", I say winking at him.

"You two are so adorable", Martha giggles walking away.

"It's 11:45 p.m. We need to get going", he signals Martha for the check.

Martha then comes over with the check and Eli pays.

"Have fun you two", She smiles waving bye to us.

We arrive at New York Square where there's hundreds of people cheering and dancing while performers are singing.

"I think we're too late... Back row for us", I say looking into the crowded crowd.

"Never that", Eli replies grabbing my hand.

We spotted the tall buff figure walking towards us I've came to know as Eli's body guard.

As soon as he came to us he directed us into the crowd pushing people aside for us to enter through.

We ended up in front of the row a little away from the rest of the crowd as Eli's bodyguard and two others stand a few feet behind us.

Hearing the music made me start to swing my hips side to side throwing my hands up in the air.

"Glad your having fun", Eli whispers into my ear as he grabs me by the waist from behind.

"Thank you for bringing me", I say turning my head to the side giving him a kiss on his cheek then turning back to the stage.

Calvin was done performing as the host Pitbull walks up on stage speaking into the Mike.

"Alright everybody it's time to start the countdown into the new year Dale" , Pitbull says as the people start yelling from excitement.

Eli grabs onto me tighter from behind leaning his chin on my shoulder.

Happy New Year!

Eli spins me around smashing his lips onto mine without hesitation I kiss him back.

Our lips moved in sync together as everyone else in the crowd yells and start popping bottles as other couples kiss each other as well.

We pull away to see fireworks being blasted up into the air everyone chanting.

"Happy New Year baby", Eli looks down locking his Emerald green eyes with my hazel ones.

It's 3 a.m. and we barely get home from our night out.

Today was so prefect absolutely perfect.

I enter the room throwing off my boots and coat as I jump onto the bed.

Pulling off my knitted dress, I throw on a pink tank top and shorts as I let out a yawn.

Suddenly I feel something heavy jump on the bed behind me.

Before I can turn and look I feel strong muscular arms wrap around my waist pulling me in close.

After 20 minutes, Eli comes into the room and pulls out a pair of jeans and a black shirt from the closet.

"Where are you going at this time?", I furrow my brows at him.

"I have to handle an errand", he replies not looking at me while putting on his clothes.

"By errand... You mean job", I growl annoyed.

"Don't do this", he gives me a glare.

"So you do dirty jobs here too Eli?!", I mutter as anger starts to rise in my voice.

"Go to sleep I'll be here as soon as I can", he says ignoring myquestion from earlier as he heads over to me.

He leans down trying to place a kiss on my lips, but I quickly turn my head the other way.

He sighs rolling his eyes then exits out the door shutting it quite loudly.

I grab a pillow from the bed throwing it at the wall.

My anger is boiling at this bullshit.

It's 6:45 a.m.

Eli still isn't back!

I Literally been up waiting for him to come back from his stupid errand this whole time.

My eyes start to feel heavy.

"Whatever!", I mumble to myself as I turn off the TV pulling the bed covers up.
