Eli'S POV

"DO YOU GUYS KNOW HOW MUCH TROUBLE YOU ARE IN?!", Mr. Marin shouts slamming files down on his desk.

I couldn't stop glaring at Aiden.

How dare he get into my fucking business

"HELLO!", Mr. Marin slams his hand down hard snapping me out of my focus.

"Just get it over with", I roll my eyes knowing what's going to happen next.

"These two seem to not get it.. We're taking them down to the station", Officer Rodriquez intervenes.

Unfortunately I knew these two pigs very well due to my convictions in the past

"No! I'm the captain of the football team! This would shatter me!", Aiden pleads like a little bitch.

"You should of thought of that before messing with my girl bastard!", I grit my teeth annoyed as fuck.

"I was protecting her from you!", Aiden snaps back.

This little bitch wants these hands again

"ENOUGH!", Mr. Marin yells frustrated.

He signals Officer Buzz to take Aiden out of the room.

Once it was just me and Mr. Marin alone in the room.

He sat down on his chair as he lets out a sigh.

"Are you dating my niece?", He mutters under his breath.

Niece?

"Gia is your niece?", I furrow my brows in confusion.

"Yes she is", he responds.

Oh! Duh they both do have the same last names and no wonder he's always protecting her at school

"Look.. Gia specifically asked me to not let anything happen to you, so here's what I'll do", Mr. Marin looked me in the eyes.

I nod for him to proceed

"I'll just suspend you for this week alright?", He raises a brow.

"Yeah sounds good", I reply thankful.

"Before I release you.. Does my niece know about your record?", He gives me a stern look.

Fuck

"N-no", I mumble out scratching the back of my neck.

"You must tell her or I will", he threatens crossing his arms over his chest.

Not saying anything I just walked out of the office heading towards the school's parking lot.

Grabbing my phone out of my pocket, scrolling through my contacts until I hit Gia's contact, I call.

After 2 rings she answers

Eli
Where are you?

Gia
I'm by your car waiting for you

Eli
Wait there... I'll be there soon

GiA'S POV

I was at ease after hearing from Eli, but at the same time I was feeling nervous since I'm going to confront him about what Aiden said.

My heart starts racing fast as I spot Eli heading towards me.

Again this stupid butterflies

What happened next I couldn't explain.

I'm guessing it was a natural reaction.

I Launched myself onto Eli's muscular body giving him a tight hug.

"Babe I was so scared for you!", My voice cracked.

That fight was so intense as well as not knowing what was going to happen to him

"I'm fine baby", he rubs my back in circular motions.

"So what happened?", I ask pulling away cuffing his cheeks with both of my hands.

"I'm suspended for this week only", he replies shrugging his shoulders.

"I guess that's good.. But that means I won't see you at school", I frown at the thought of this.

"Baby relax you'll see me before and after school", he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"You sure? You don't have to", I look up to his gorgeous face.

"Yes it's my responsibility to give you a ride to school and back okay", he kisses my forehead.

He's so sweet

"Thank you", I say feeling so thankful to at least see him before and after our routine not breaking.

I scan his face as I sat on the passenger seat.

He didn't have anything besides a greenish- purplish bruise on his right cheekbone.

Alright Gia it's time

I took in a deep breath as I exhaled, "is Aiden saying the truth about you?".

Eli's body stiffens as he grips onto the steering wheel tight.

"Hello", I wave my hand for him to speak.

"No he's lying", he responds.

"So you have no record?"

"No! Now drop it", he scowls annoyed

I doubt my Uncle would be making this up

"I don't believe you", I cross my arms over my chest.

"Don't start", Eli warns.

"Pull over now!", I demand glaring at him.

I hate liars

Eli drove into a park parking us to the side.

"What Gia?", He brushes through his hair with his hand.

"My Uncle mentioned you have a record?"

"Why didn't you tell me our school's principle is your Uncle?", He changes the subject raising a brow.

"It's not important now answer me!", I hiss.

Ring Ring!

His phone started going off as usual.

Eli forward the call sending it to voice mail.

However whoever was calling him called again after being forwarded.

"Oh my fucking..!", Eli growls eyes full of anger.

"Answer!", I say slightly annoyed.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?!", He yells through his phone.

"I CAN'T RIGHT NOW I'M BUSY!"

"I'LL SLIDE THROUGH IN 30 MINUTES NOW BYE!", Eli hangs up slamming his cell phone into the cup holder.

30 minutes really?

"Who was that?"

"No one important", he responds

"Where are you going in 30 minutes?"

"Stop it with the interrogation!", He hisses.

"Answer me are you a drug dealer?!", I snap loosing my patience.

"I don't have time for this bullshit!", He groans turning on the engine driving off.

I can't believe this

The whole car ride to my house was quiet, we didn't say a word to each other.

Anger is all I felt at this moment, for how he's acting.

As soon as he parked outside my house, I didn't hesitate to rush out of the car slamming his door.

"Gia!"

Ignoring his calls for me as I quickly entered my home shutting the door.

I peeked through my front door's hole to see If Eli left yet.

Luckily my mom's keys were on the key holder on the wall.

He won't tell me then I'll have no choice, but to spy on him

I quickly grab the car keys on the wall and opened the front door slowly noticing Eli barely driving off.

Running to the car as I jump in I start the engine.

I quickly reversed out of my drive way and drove off fast catching up to Eli.

After 35 minutes of driving we reached an warehouse up in the hills.

I carefully made sure not to be so close to Eli, so he wouldn't suspect anything.

I parked a couple of distance away from where Eli parked.

Taking the keys out of the ignition, I got out of the car quietly closing the door lightly.

Hiding behind a large tree, I watched as Eli got out of his car walking towards this warehouse ahead.

The warehouse seemed like the size of an garage by the looks of it.

Following behind Eli, I hid behind the racks of chopped wood that were stacked up in a huge pile.

Noticing there was a small window up above I stood up a bit to glance in what's inside.

"Well well well look who's finally decided to show up!", A deep creepy voice came from behind a huge chair.

"I'm here now let's get this over with!", Eli hisses  rolling his eyes towards the chair.

The chair suddenly turns all the way exposing that same bald tatted man, we saw at the carnival's parking lot.

"Are you forgetting who's the boss here kid?!", the bald man grits ,his teeth.

"No one's trying to take your spot so fall back" Eli sighs.

"Lately you've been to busy for business.. I'm starting to worry", the man says raising a brow.

"Give me the drugs, so I can get your money stop wasting my time!", Eli scowls slamming his fist down onto the man's desk.

OMG! Aiden was right!

"Woah calm down now! I'm starting to think that girl you've been hanging out with lately is starting to become a distraction for you", the man pulles out a pocket knife as he traced the tip towards his desk.

Fuck that's me

"Leave her out of this! I'm here ain't I?! She's no distraction!", Eli growls as he clenches his fists.

"Uhm you know what I do with distractions if they get in the way of my business Eli!", The man smirks letting out an evil chuckle.

Wtf

"Watch it!", Eli grits his teeth fire burning through his eyes.

"Get your priorities right boy that's all I'm saying.. Now here!", The man throws a bag full of drugs onto the desk.

Eli wtf have you gotten yourself into

Eli quickly grabs the bag of drugs as he rolls his eyes at this man turning his heel heading out towards the door.

I quickly ran towards my car being careful to not step on anything that'll get me caught.

Before Eli got into his car, I was already starting my engine making a U-turn to head down the hill.

Fucking Eli! He lied to me straight to my face!

I parked my car in my driveway as I took the key out of the ignition.

Stepping out of the car shutting the door.

I felt someone pin me towards my car.

My mouth was covered immediately before I could yell for help.

"Shh babe it's me!", I quickly recognized that familiar deep voice.

My eyes scanned up locking with his Emerald green eyes.

Pushing his hands off of my mouth I sighed in relief knowing I wasn't about to get kidnapped.

"Where the fuck did you go huh?!", He hisses anger written all over his face.

"I-I followed you!", I scoff.

Eli's whole body language froze and his face suddenly became more angry.

"How dare you?! What the fuck did you see?!", He hissed pinning me more onto my car.

"Everything! Your a fucking drug dealer!", I shout pushing him off of me.

Eli's eyes soften at my reaction dropping his face down to the ground.

"Why did you lie to me! Aiden was telling the truth!", My hands flew all over the place.

Eli remained silent still looking down to the ground.

"Hello! Tell me do you also beat up innocent people for drugs?! How many times have you been locked up huh?!", I shout stepping towards him.

"Gia I didn't want you to know about this part of my life", he mumbles clenching his fists.

"So it's all true Elias Gold?!", A tear manages to fall down my cheek.

"Y-yes besides the beating up innocent people for drugs.. A few times I had to handle those who owed money that's all", he responds looking me in the eyes.

My heart felt like it was being stabbed by all this information

"Why Eli? Why do you do this?", My voice cracks.

"Baby please don't cry", his large hand cuffs my cheek wiping the tear with his thump.

"How can I be with someone that does this?", I mutter under my breath.

"Baby please don't say that.. This is why I couldn't let you know because you'll see me different", he wraps his arms around me pulling me in for a hug.

"I love you Elias I couldn't dare see you different.. I-I just hate lies", I say looking into Eli's Emerald green eyes as I cuff his cheek.

Regardless of knowing all of this about Eli

My love for him is still the same

"I love you too Gia I really really do", he kisses my head while his hand played with my hair.

"Babe if you love me like you say you do then show me", I sigh still keeping my eyes locked with his.

"How baby?", Determination written in his eyes as he looks at me.

"Tell me everything right now", I demand giving him a serious face.

He took in a deep breath before saying
