BOOM

Xavier kicks the door down hard and we immediately rush in aiming our guns everywhere.

There was no sign of anyone. The hallway was long and dark leading into another room that has a light on.

Eli signals me to stay behind me as he follows Xavier as we scurry towards the room. We come into a halt as Xavier peeks his head slightly into the room.

He then whispers, "there's two of them playing games."

Eli nods and we proceed inside the room very quietly careful to make no sudden noise. I glance at the two guys who are playing video games with head sets on.

No wonder they didn't hear the door slam down on the floor.

"Bitch ass foo you let me fall!", one of the guys scolds to the other.

"It's the stupid control not me!", the other one grumbles.

Eli signals me to stay in the corner and I nod. Xavier and Eli both take steps towards the two men playing and aim their guns at their heads.

Next thing I know, the two men are laid out on the ground blood spluttered on the wall and a pool of blood quickly forming on the carpet.

I wanted to gag from the disgust of it all. Quickly I averted away avoiding that horrific scene in order to regain composure.

"Babe?"

"I'm okay", I cut him off.

The last thing I want is for Eli to worry about me or prove he was right about this not being my scene. I mean it isn't, but I hate when he's right.

"Let's keep moving", Xavier splutters walking towards another door.

We all come into a halt hearing voices coming from the other side of the door. There is definitely more people than what we just faced.

Eli turns around beaming at me. I could tell he's regretting having me here. He must be shitting bricks with worry for me.

"Get ready I'm busting the door", Xavier whispers giving us a serious face expression.

We both nod getting ready to encounter what's on the other side of this rotten ass door.

Xavier instantly kicks the door down open with his foot and we barge inside aiming our guns all over the place.

There is three tattooed guys aiming their guns at us and a female who has purple half shaved hair with piercings on her left brow and right bottom lip.

Her and I instantly mug each other aiming our guns at one another. I can't wait to beat the shit out of her.

"DROP YOUR FUCKING GUNS NOW!", Eli scolds.

"FUCK YOU!", one of the guys shout back shooting fire.

Eli immediately gets down the bullet missing him going through the wall.

All hell breaks loose.

Bullets are flying all over the place. The purple haired female charges towards me tackling me down to the floor.

My gun flies out from my grip. She is now on top of me punching me. I immediately put my hands up blocking her blows to my face.

Gathering my strength, I throw her to the side flipping her. I'm now on top of her punching. It's been a long time I've been in a fight, but damn the adrenaline merges within me quickly becoming the bad girl I once was.

I feel muscular arms wrap around my waist lifting me up from the bitch. I turn my head to my right seeing it's one of her partners.

"Eli!", I shout kicking trying to break free from his strong grip on me.

The purple haired female stands up blood bursting out from her nose looking pissed off. She throws a punch at my cheekbone making me wince in pain.

Suddenly, Xavier lunges at the guy holding me breaking me free. I then lunge at the bitch throwing punches to her face.

She grabs my hair swinging me back and forth  throwing blows with her free hand to the side of my stomach.

Feeling annoyed as fuck from her not letting go of my hair. I grab hers pulling down as hard as I can making her scream.

"YOU BITCH!", she shouts kneeing my stomach.

The pain causes anger to quickly rise as this unknown strength takes over me. I push her away with a kick to her stomach that caused her to let go of my hair from the impact.

"COME AT ME BITCH!", I grit my teeth both of my fists clenched ready to box like a real bad ass.

She glances at my fists then at me immediately getting what I want. She evilly smirks clenching her fists as well ready to box me.

I start throwing punches, my fists meeting her jaw and forehead. She tries to throw punches as well, but I dodge every one of them.

We've been boxing each other for about 2 minutes. Me being in the lead. It's clear that this bitch has no boxing skills.

BANG

Two gun shots are heard and I turn seeing two of the enemies lifeless on the floor. Eli and Xavier are aiming their guns at the third guy who's hiding behind a chair.

Suddenly, I fall over the couch rolling off down to the ground from the sudden punch to the side of my face the bitch threw since I was distracted.

"FUCK!", I huff wincing in pain on the floor.

"Babe!", Eli splutters worriedly.

Eli shoots towards the purple haired female, but she jumps down to the floor.

While Xavier is shooting at the guy. Eli crouches down beside me helping me up. I place my hand on my cheekbone then let my hand down glancing at it seeing blood.

The purple haired female stands up aiming my gun at me ready to shoot. Eli immediately aims his gun at her giving her a death glare pushing me behind him.

I slide my hand in my pocket remembering I have a pocket knife I grabbed from Xavier's trunk earlier.

I couldn't risk Eli getting shot by my sudden movement I'm planning to do. So I trip him with my foot making him tumble down to the ground.

The purple haired bitch fires straight and I crouch down. The bullet flying over us hitting a lamp.

I quickly stand up firmly throwing the knife at her and I watch the knife fly like a rocket launcher stabbing her right on her chest.

She freezes from the impact her dark eyes bulging out of their sockets realizing she has been stabbed right on the chest.

I watch as she stumbles a few steps back dropping my gun on the ground. Quickly, I run towards her grabbing my gun aiming it at her.

Realizing she's fighting her fate slowly suffering from the stab wound. I feel so bad for her, but it was either my life or hers. I pull the trigger, a bullet hitting straight through her heart immediately killing her as she helplessly falls down to the ground lifeless.

BANG

I turn around noticing Xavier killed the third guy that was left. Our four enemies are now dead and the three of us are still standing.

"Damn babe a warning would of been nice", Eli says getting up from the ground.

"I'm sorry babe there's no way I would risk putting you in danger", I respond walking towards him cuffing his cheek scanning every inch of him making sure he isn't hurt in anyway.

"I'm fine babe don't worry", Eli smirks loving the attention I'm giving him.

"Yo that was tight Gia!", Xavier applauds grinning.

"Thanks, I don't even know how I did that", I blush.

"Are you hurt? That fight was intense", Eli worriedly asks glancing down at me making sure I'm not bleeding from my abdomen area.

"A little bit of boxing, street fight, and doing some ninja type of shit yo was like a movie", Xavier chuckles.

"I'm fine Eli", I chuckle at Xavier's comment.

Suddenly, we hear a baby's cry coming from down the hall.

We all stay silent hearing the cry. A cry I find so familiar.

"It's my baby!", I screech scurrying towards the door.

Xavier grabs my arms bringing me to a halt.

"Let go of me!", I hiss trying to swat his large hand from my arm.

"They know we're here!", Xavier firmly says peering at me and Eli.

Eli grabs my other arm beaming at me with a serious face, but at the same time I can tell the pain and desperation he's currently feeling hearing Avalyn's cry.

"He's right babe, we need to be careful and not just barge through that door at end of the hallway", he whispers firmly.

A tear slowly slides down my cheek from anger. As much as I want to barge through that door, I can't. I must be careful for the sake of my daughter's life and ours.

I nod agreeing with the both wiping my fallen tear away focusing on the mission once again.

Eli scurries silently down the hallway. Xavier and I following behind him.

We hear Avalyn's screech cry again this time louder than a few seconds ago.

Eli bursts the wooden door open with his shoulder. We barge through the room seeing wooden boxes everywhere.  Newspapers laying everywhere on the floor.

My eyes instantly land on my baby who's wrapped in a white blanket in a opened box on an old brownish mattress on the floor.

I run towards my baby ready to wrap my arms around my precious angel I missed so much.

A few inches away from reaching my baby a gun fires. The bullet going through a box near me causing me to come to a halt letting out a scream.

"Babe is the baby okay?", Eli worriedly shouts a frightened expression on his face.

I glance at my baby noticing everything is fine the bullet was purposely aimed to hit the box near me to scare me.

"Baby is fine!", I huff easing my worst fear down.

"Are you okay?", Eli glances at me aiming his gun everywhere with Xavier next to him.

"A family reunion well isn't that nice", a sinisterly deep voice utters from out of the darkness.

"Please let me grab my baby.. I won't call the police", I plead beaming at my baby who's crying even louder after the gun shot was fired.

"Make me!", the evil voice chuckles.

"I'm going to fucking kill you.. show yourself!", Eli shouts aiming the gun at this black figure hiding behind the wooden boxes.

"SHOW YOURSELF!", Xavier grits his teeth.

Not being able to stand around any longer seeing my baby cry her face turning red. I sprint towards my baby.

Suddenly, I hear boxes falling down to the floor. I stop seeing Eli wrestling with the black figure and Xavier fighting off some other guy that looks familiar.

Within seconds this black figure hits Eli on the head with his gun causing him to fall down.

"Eli!", I shout not knowing whether to run to him or stay near my baby.

"Thought I never hear that voice again", the guy who was fighting Xavier a few seconds ago chirps.

I turn towards him seeing Xavier stabbed on on the side of his stomach laying on the floor.

"X-Xavier!", I stutter fear setting in.

I then glance up at this guy and I quickly notice it's none of other than Chris. The annoying gangster that I once invited to Jesiah's Halloween party in order to piss off Eli.

"Chris?! How could you!", I mutter.

"That's what you get for what you did to me!", he grumbles clearly still holding a grudge.

"You took it out on a baby that's innocent in all this! You should of came for me not her!", I grit my teeth hating Chris for causing me so much pain.

I quickly aim my gun at him pulling the trigger without any thought to it. The bullet strikes his head killing him instantly.

"Feisty", the black figure says walking into the light exposing himself.

He's older version of Julius just two shades darker than he was and has combed black hair.

"Say goodbye to your child Eli!", Julius's brother sinisterly chuckles aiming his gun towards my baby.

My eyes widen my heart thumping out of my chest. My body becoming hot and cold at the same time.

Without thinking not even for a second. I bolt towards my baby.

"Nooo!", Eli shouts as the gun shoots fire.
