Welcome! Some notes about this story before it begins:

- This is my entry for the JustWriteIt 10-chapter challenge. Since the deadline for the contest is Aug 31st, my plan is to publish a chapter daily up until that date, starting Aug 22nd.

- This story was written as a challenge to see whether I could write a tropey romance that fits into Wattpad's verticals. Therefore, the tone is a bit different than my other stories, and the title and cover are chosen to reflect this style.

- I've wanted to write a sports romance for a long time, as I am a huge sports fan, and soccer felt like the natural choice as I used to play myself in my teens and I'm an avid watcher of the sport on TV. So I should be decently familiar with words and terminology (but please correct me if I get something wrong, as I've noticed my English vocabulary on this is a bit lacking).

- This story is set within my Sweet Universe, using Sarah who was a side character in that story as the main character because I love reusing characters I already know and developing them. There will be some other characters from those stories appearing as well but largely, this story will be freestanding. However, everything happening within this story will be canon within the Sweet Universe. This story is set about a year after the first story in that universe, Sweet Little Birds, starts and Sarah is in this story a sophomore in university (she is a year younger than Tyler and Robin from that story).

- This story will be slightly steamier than my previous stories since it will be driven by sexual interactions in a way that my other stories haven't been (even if they've also had such content). So if that is not your thing, maybe skip this one. I'd also caution young readers to consider whether this is something you're interested in reading (even though I know I can't stop anyone).
