After one week Matsuri's rib got healed in no time. She was in her parents house sitting in her room with the curtains closed and lights out. She was laying on the floor in darkness. She had many missed calls from Yuzu. Matsuri groaned and her mother then knocked on the door
"Sweetie...I know you're depressed but Harumi's grandmother wants to talk to you. Matsuri clenched her fists tightly and went up to the door slightly so she could grab the phone from her mother.
"What do you want?" Matsuri asked in a harsh tone
"I thought I told you that I needed to have a serious talk with you" The old lady said
"Whatever..." Matsuri said
"I ordered someone to pick you up. We will have a serious talk. Maybe after the serious talk you'll start packing your bags" The bold lady said
"Huh? What do you mean packing my bags?" Matsuri asked
"You'll see when we have our serious talk" The old lady said
"Fine...I'll go" Matsuri said
"Good. See you later...Mizusawa" The old lady said and hunged up. Matsuri sighed looking down then walked out of her room and put the phone back
"Sweetie do you want to eat something?" Her mother asked
"No...I'm good" Matsuri mumbled
"Matsuri...please eat something" Herother begged with her worried eyes
"Okay..." Matsuri said. Her mother then prepared a meal for Matsuri to eat since she decided to skip breakfast. After eating Matsuri left to her room to be in the darkness
"Matsuri...at least open your curtains" Her mother said
"I don't wanna...I don't care anymore..." Matsuri said and walked in her room laying back down on the floor. Her phone rang again and again. She groaned and stood up walking up to her phone and saw it was Yuzu. Matsuri sighed and answered it
"Hello?" Matsuri answered
"Finally you answered! Don't you know how much you worried your big sis!" Yuzu exclaimed
"Yuzu-chan...I'm not a kid anymore" Matsuri mumbled
"I know I know but you still act like a kid sometimes...it just makes me wanna take care of you" Yuzu said. Matsuri chuckled a bit and smiled weakly. She used to have a crush on Yuzu and always enjoyed Yuzu's company. Her heart felt empty still. All she wanted was her senpai to be okay but she slightly doubted it.
"Matsuri? You there?" Yuzu asked
"Huh? Oh yeah..." Matsuri said
"Hey do you want to hang out?" Yuzu asked
"No...I'm busy later" Matsuri said
"What are you busy with?" Yuzu asked
"Just something..." Matsuri said
"Hm? Well...alright I guess" Yuzu said
"Also is...Taniguchi-senpai...o-okay?" Matsuri asked her voice a bit shaky
"Oh well...she's still okay but hasn't woke up" Yuzu said
"O-okay...bye..." Matsuri said and hunged up then fell on her knees and covered her face as she felt her tears.
"Wh-why did you kill me?" She heard a familiar voice. Matsuri trembled and saw Harumin bleeding from her stomach and she was crying...blood?! Matsuri teared up and clenched her fists tightly
"I-I didn't...no...I-I"
"It's a-all your f-fault..." Harumin mumbled
"N-no...Taniguchi-senpai...pl-please"
"I don't want to ever see you again...murder" Harumin said
"N-no...I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to! It's not my fault!" Masuri shouted and cried. She looked at Harumin's bleeding body and crawled up to her wanting to hold her
"You murder...you killed me! You killed me! This is all your fault!" Harumin shouted. Matsuri cried loudly and suddenly the floor broke then Matsuri fell down in a pit of darkness
"TANIGUCHI-SENPAI!"
Matsuri gasped and woke up on the floor. Her body was trembling and she felt tears rolling down her cheeks. Gina appeared in front of her and gave her a worried look. Matsuri shook her head and slowly stood up
"Matsuri...someone is here for you" Her mother said. Matsuri wiped her tears and went to the window to see who it was and saw a car and a man standing in front of the door.
"I'm coming..." Matsuri said and walked out of her room heading to the front door. She opened it and saw the driver. He then opened the door for her and Matsuri got in. The trip to the Taniguchi mansion was silent. Matsuri was just looking out the window staring at the sky. She looked at her dragon tattoo then Gina appeared in her shoulder. Gina nuzzled her neck which made Matsuri giggle a bit and smile a bit. Matsuri then stroked Gina's head softly
"Thank you for being here with me..." Matsuri mumbled to her. Once they arrived the man opened the door for Matsuri and she got out and followed the man to the mansion then he opened the door for Matsuri. Matsuri walked inside and saw the old lady sitting in a couch while drinking tea.
"Madam...she's here" The man said
"Thank you. Now please take a seat" The old lady said. Matsuri sat down on a couch and glared at the old lady
"Do you want something to drink?" She asked
"No thank you. I'm fine" Matsuri said
"Alright well I think you know why you're here" She said putting her cup of tea down
"Taniguchi-senpai..." Matsuri mumbled
"Yes...my granddaughter. I just can't believe you two met again after the whole...incident back when you two were kids" The old lady said and sighed
"It wasn't my fault...I met my friend Yuzu-chan and she was with her so...yeah we met in the arcade" Matsuri said. The old lady pulled out a piece of paper which was a picture and placed it on the small table that was between them.
"What's that?" Matsuri asked
"You might have probably forgotten...this might refresh your memory" The old lady said. Matsuri rolled her eyes and grabbed the image and her eyes widen. It was a picture of two kids. The one on the left was Harumin and right next to her was...her?!
"Wh-what...h-how?" Matsuri asked and kept looking at the picture
"After the little incident...you decided to come back to her for forgiveness. I think that's how it started...but this was shocking to me" The old lady said and pulled out another image and it was them...kissing?!
W-we...huh?! K-kissed?! We kissed when we were little?!
Flashback
Matsuri and Harumin were both walking on the sidewalk. Matsuri looked at Harumin and blushed a bit. Harumin didn't remember the whole incident and Matsuri didn't want her to know she was just glad that they were friends but they had to keep their friendship a secret from Harumin's grandmother and older sister. Matsuri then reached for Harumin's hand wanting to hold hands. Harumin looked at her then giggled and held hands with her. For some reason Matsuri felt her heart beat fast when they held hands. She felt like that with Yuzu since she took care of her but for some reason it felt..different. Matsuri looked at the arcade and saw a photo booth. She wanted to take a few pics to have memories about the girl that saved her.
"Hey Harumin wanna take some pictures?" Matsuri asked
"Of course" Harumin said. Matsuri smiled softly and brought Harumin to the photo booth. Once they were inside the two girls started doing funny faces. Harumin then placed her arm around Matsuri's shoulder and smiled as they were taking one last picture. Matsuri didn't know what was going through her head but she leaned in wanting to kiss her cheek. Harumin noticed Matsuri getting closer to her and turned around to look at her and that's when their lips connected and they...kissed.
End of Flashback
Matsuri blushed deeply at the flashback and could feel Harumin's lips. They felt soft and warm. Matsuri shook her head and kept looking at the picture of them kissing
"I found that in Harumi's bedroom. She hid it from me but once I saw it...I told her to forget about you and never see you again" The old lady said. Matsuri looked down and sighed. The old lady chuckled and smiled
"She will definitely forget about you...once you move to the U.S." The old lady said. Matsuri's eyes widen and she looked at the old hag.
"Wh-what do you mean once I move to the U.S?" Matsuri asked.
