Sommer POV:
I can't believe him... He was trying to hit on me!!!! He killed my parents and he's trying to hit on me! I walk into my house and slam the door. "What's up baby girl?"Jamie asks lifting me up and laying down on the couch with me on his chest. I turn around so that I'm laying on my stomach on him. "A guy was hitting on me at the bar,"I say with a sigh because I couldn't tell my best friend about my other life as a supernatural. "What did you expect... Guys won't just ignore a beautiful girl sitting at a bar all alone,"He says kissing my forehead laughing a bit. "I was kinda hoping they wouldn't notice me plus I'm not beautiful,"I say looking into his eyes. He laughs. "Yes you are but I'm not gonna argue with you right now.... I have a question,"He says with a smirk. "And what would that be?"I ask messing with his hair. "Was he cute?" He asks. "Oh my god your so gay,"I laugh. "Well that is my sexuality,"He smiles. "Now answer the question,"He pleads laughing. I roll my eyes. "Ya I guess he was... He's perfect for you,"I say as the door bell rang. Jamie laughs as he helps me up so I can answer the door. "Show me your flirty walk... Maybe you'll get to meet him again,"Jamie calls after me. I laugh and loosen my button up shirt. I turn around and bite my lip sexily. I lean against the wall and give him a cute wave before walking away while swaying my hips in a slow motion. Jamie laughs and claps as he wolf whistles. I take a bow and answer the door. "I like your book... It's quite interesting,"Says a familiar voice. "Huh?"I ask realising that the man before me was Nicklaus. I glare at him as he stares down my shirt with a huge smirk. I button back up my shirt and cross my arms. But there was something about him like I just couldn't stay mad at him even if I try. "Your book... You left it behind so I decided to read it,"Nicklaus says with a nervous smile. "You read my book in the matter of 5 hours... Do you not have a life?"I ask taking my book from him. "I do but it will last forever... I have time, plenty of it,"He says as he relaxes on the door trying to look inside. I scoff. "You brag about being a vampire yet it can be the most brutal thing in your life,"I say as I feel my eyes turn a brownish/ yellow. That always happens when I'm angry or annoyed... My inner werewolf wants to rip off someone's head but I don't let myself, I know better than that. "I guess so but sometimes I try to think on the brighter side of things, my sunshine,"He says with a wink. "I prefer moonshine,"I laugh. "Are you some kind of drunk or something?"He asks laughing at me. "No, I only drink on special occasions, although this occasion isn't that special,"I say with a sigh. Jamie comes over and wraps his arms around me protectively and Nicklaus looks at him shocked. "Your birthday is totally a special occasion whether you think so or not... I'm glad that you exist sweetheart,"Jamie says kissing my forehead. "Are you two together?"Nicklaus asks biting his lip. "No why? Are you jealous? I mean you can have him as long as you return him at 12:30,"I say with a sly smile. Nicklaus looks at me revolted. "Ok then , I'm Jamie and I'm all yours... Wait a minute 12:30? That's 30 minutes from now,"Jamie complains. "Exactly,"I laugh. "Um I'm Nicklaus, and actually i'd like to talk to Sommer so if you'll excuse us,"Nicklaus say lifting me over his shoulder and starts to carry me away. "I'll have her back soon,"Nicklaus says over his shoulder his chin hitting against my butt. I punch him hard on the back. "Ok... Use protection!!!!"Jamie yells laughing. Nicklaus laughs as Jamie closes the door. I heat up my hand using my powers and press had on his neck. "Ow!"He yells dropping me. "What are you doing... I told you to leave me alone!"I yell at him. "Listen Sommer, I loved you since I held you as a baby, you use to use your powers so that we could both see you imagining us when we are older and we were so happy... You loved me too and I think you still do,"He says in a soft tone. My eyes were welling up... I could feel the tears urging to fall. "That was when I was a baby,"I say quietly. "You didn't deny that you don't love me Sommer,"He says tears forming in his eyes. "Because I can't but you know what's really weird you fell in love with a baby... Not me and you probably had tons of girlfriends in the mean time go to them, maybe we can be friends,"I say turning around and walking away as I let the tears fall down my face. He stops me and places both hands on my shoulders, his face stained with tears. "I love you Sommer, I don't want anyone else and I definitely do not want to just be friends,"He says wiping away my tears with his thumbs gently. "But you killed my parents," I say shyly. "I know and I'm so sorry but you know that they tried to kill me first and it was the first time that somebody try to kill me that didn't do it because of the bad things that I've done but because I was turning soft... Because of you, I don't want you to think differently of your parents but they also have done evil things,"He says calmly. I stare at him in shock and disbelief. "I didn't know... I'm sorry,"I say hugging him tightly. He hugs back. "It's ok,"He says hugging me while rubbing my back gently. His hand wonders to underneath my shirt and I hit his chest. "Owe what was that for?!"He asks innocently. "No wondering hands!"I yell at him. He chucked and pulls me close to him and hugs me again. I sigh and hug him back. "Ok let's get you to my house so that no one spots you,"Nicklaus says lifting me up again. I disappear then reappear in front of him. "You have to stop doing that,"He says with a long sigh. "I can't go to your house what if you're planning on raping me,"I say biting my lip. "It's not rape if you enjoy it,"He laughs as I roll my eyes at him. "Don't worry my brothers and sisters won't let that happen,"He says lifting me back up. This time I climb onto his back. "Ok then... Let's go,"I say resting my head on his shoulder. "Happy birthday,"He whispers. "Thank you,"I mumble my eyelids suddenly growing heavy. I can see his smile just as I close my eyes.

In the morning

I wake up with strong arms around my waist. I'm shocked when I see Nicklaus but then I remember the other day and smile. "You know you're really cute when you sleep,"Nicklaus whispers brushing the hair out of my face as he kisses my forehead. "So since when do friends that are in love sleep next to each other and kiss each other's heads comfortably?"I ask smiling a little more as I bury my head into his shoulder. "Since us,"He says pulling me against his chest which I just noticed was bare. I look down hoping he was wearing pants and thank god he was. "I'm not just gonna be your friend with special privileges... We're either friends, girlfriend and boyfriend, or we're nothing to each other,"I say against his skin. He shivers and pushes me away gently. He makes sure that I'm looking at him. "The last one is impossible, the first one will be awful, and then the middle one sounds amazing... We were never meant to be friends with special benefits,"He says with a soft smile. I smile back. "It does sound amazing but if we do become 'boyfriend and girlfriend' then it has to be a slow and proper relationship,"I say placing my hands on his bare back. "Ok but how about right now while we're still just friends we go fast,"He says with a smirk. I laugh. "No,"I reply sternly. "Fine then... Sommer will you be my girlfriend?"He asks with a sigh. "No,"I smirk. "You're just full of no's aren't you?"He whispers. "Why not?"He asks like a little kid. "Because you have to work harder than that,"I say disappearing to my house. "Awe man,"Was the last thing I hear him say. I unlocked my door and rushed into my house. I walked quietly up the stairs to go back to bed when I bump into Jamie on the steps. He caught me as I was about to fall down the stairs. "Sommer?"He asks throwing a baseball bat upstairs. "Um ya,"I say blushing, a little embarrassed. "Ok tell me what happened?"He says excitedly as he carries me to my room. He lays me on my bed as he sits down."well um, we talked and then he gave me a piggy bank ride to his house and I fell asleep... Then I woke up, we talked some more, I'm making him work for a relationship and then I went home leaving him stunned at his house,"I say with a shrug. "Ok so no doing the dirty?"He asks with an eyebrow raised. "Um no and who says that anymore?"I ask but he waves the question away. "I do, anyhow your making him work for a relationship... Come on now, he was hot I would have hopped right on that pony, took it for a ride, and then claimed it,"He said, not so surprisingly, honest. I laughed. "Of course you would... That's you not me, I like to mess with the guy first,"I say with a sly smirk. "You're right, playing with them is more fun than to watch then immediately getting layed then not having anything else to go off of... You get to see who he truly is, he gets to know you and then it's not like your dating a stranger,"He says actually thinking about the idea. "Exactly... Now if you'll let me go back to sleep that would be great,"I say. Jamie sighs and lays down next to me. He wraps his arms around me and we both fall back asleep.
