"This was a stupid idea.." Brendon whines out as his friend Dallon drags him along, Brendon whining the whole way.
"Stop whining, you scaredy cat. You'll be fine! It's not like we're gonna get stuck in here! Besides Brenny, I'm here to protect you!" Dallon replies, giving the obviously terrified Brendon a cocky look.
"Great! Now you've jinxed us! We're gonna die in this fucking house!" Brendon exclaims, and he desperately tries to pull his arm away from his friends grasp. "Let me go, you ass!"
Brendon wasn't a scaredy cat, he swears he isn't. Like he's not afraid of spiders like he knows his friends Josh and Pete are. Sure the little creepy crawler death dealers were scary, but they were no match for him! Not at all!
He just.. needed some help escorting the small arachnids out the door sometimes. It wasn't because he was scared to touch, or even look at them though, nope! Not at all, he just liked the help!
And he sure wasn't scared of some scary old house his friend, and crush, had managed to drag him to. The scary old house he had heard many rumors about. The scary old house where someone had supposedly died and their body still lays completely lifeless in one of the beds upstairs. And the house where there had supposedly been ghost sightings.
He wasn't scared at all.
At least, that's what he kept trying to convince himself.
He hears Dallon laugh, the male rolling his eyes at the smaller before him. "Oh c'mon Brendon, you've got me here to protect you!" He states, and he nudges the raven haired man in the arm.
Brendon feels his cheeks heat up and he glares daggers at him, though it doesn't last long when he actually takes a moment to look at Dallon, and he almost melts.
Dallon, on the other hand, only rolls his eyes at Brendon's glare, not noticing the dazed look in Brendon's eyes as he now drags the male along.
Brendon snaps out of his little love daze when they actually happen to reach the house, and he looks up at Dallon, seeing the older male actually looking a bit excited.
Dallon gently takes Brendon by the arm, and he starts pulling him to the front door, and Brendon feels as though his heart is going to beat out of his chest, his nerves driving him crazy now.
"C'mon Bren, you'll be okay I swear," Dallon says, and his voice actually manages to calm Brendon down a bit.
They walk inside, and Brendon stays right by Dallon's side as Dallon starts to look around at the old house, almost everything has dust on it or cobwebs, and Dallon uses his phones flash light to look around the room as they walk.
"Nothing's really in that bad of condition, despite how old this house is.. it's kinda weird," Brendon says, as he too looks around the room, grimacing a little when he sees more cobwebs on a set of curtains. "I see the spiders found their home though, nasty.." He adds, gagging slightly.
Dallon laughs and rolls his eyes, and he pulls away from Brendon a little to walk into another room, and he expects the younger to follow him. He gets distracted as he sees a bookshelf and he walks over and shines his light on it, curiously looking at it and cocking his head.
"Some of these books are newer it looks like, yet they're dusty as hell, I guess the ghosts don't know how to clean," Dallon jokes, and he turns to look at Brendon, but when he turns, he's met with no one.
"Brendon?" Dallon calls out, and he panics slightly as he doesn't know where he went.
"Brendon? Where are you?" He tries to call out again, but there's an eerie silence that settles in the house, and Dallon doesn't like it one bit.
He begins walking back to the room where he last saw Brendon, and he tries to look around for him, his worry growing as he still can't find Brendon, or even any signs of him at all.
Suddenly, he hears a noise behind him, and he jumps and spins around, pointing his phones flash light in the direction of the noise.
He swears he sees something move, and so he walks closer, pointing his flash light in every direction to see what it was.
When he reaches another room, that looks almost like a kitchen, he sees light and immediately follows it, trying to find Brendon.
He finds the place where the light was and when he peeks around to look, he sees Brendon, and he gasps and smiles.
"Bren! Oh my gosh, thank goodness you're okay! I was so scared when I lost you!" Dallon says when Brendon turns to look at him, and he immediately goes over and hugs him, the small boy slowly wrapping his arms around Dallon in return.
"I was so worried about you.. don't walk off on me again," he says as he pulls away from the hug to look at Brendon, and he sees a small smile on Brendon's face.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get lost, but then all of a sudden you were gone.." Brendon replies, an odd tone settling into his voice but Dallon just presumed it was because he was scared, he knew Brendon hated being alone, especially somewhere like this.
They look at each other in the eyes, and Dallon pulls Brendon closer to him by the waist, the smaller make looking up at him with his lips slightly parted. Dallon leans down slowly, and Brendon stands up on his tip toes as their lips connect.
Their lips move flawlessly together, and they don't pull away until they both need air, both of their cheeks now being a bit flushed as they look at each other.
Brendon smiles a little, and giggles, yet he leans in again and kisses Dallon again, his arms wrapping around the taller man's neck. Dallon is slightly surprised, but he ends up kissing back once everything's registered in his mind, and he grips Brendon's hips more.
They hardly pull away, and when they do it's only for a few seconds before their right back at it again, their lips moving together still.
Dallon starts to push Brendon back until he's pushed up against a counter in the kitchen, neither of them caring at the moment as they make out, Dallon's hands now trailing Brendon's sides slowly.
Dallon ends up being the first to pull away, and he kisses at Brendon's jaw gently, and he notices that Brendon's skin seems colder where his clothing isn't covering it, yet he says nothing about it as he takes a deep breath, his breathing slightly uneven but as is Brendon's.
"How about we get out of here, and when we get to my house we can continue this? We can also eat the rest of the candy that the trick or treaters were supposed to get," Dallon says breathlessly, and he chuckles a little.
Brendon gently nods as Dallon pulls away and he grabs his phone off the counter where he had set it after Dallon had hugged him.
"Alright, lets go," Dallon says with a smile, and he starts to lead the way back to the entrance of the house, actually eager to get out himself. He hears Brendon's foot steps so he continues.
When he reaches the front door, he walks out and he's surprised when he sees Brendon standing at the bottom of the steps, his arms wrapped around himself as he paces a little. When he hears the door open, he looks up and he smiles as he sees Dallon.
"Dallon! Where were you?" He asks, and he walks over to him when Dallon makes his way down the stairs, confusion written on his face.
"Why're you here and not inside?" Dallon asks as he reaches Brendon, and he cocks his head a bit in confusion.
"Well, I chickened our after I lost you. And I couldn't find you to tell you that I was gonna go outside so I just stepped back out here and decided to wait. Though I was getting worried," Brendon replies and he smiles again.
Dallon gives Brendon a confused look still, one that Brendon slowly copies.
"I was just with you.." Dallon says, and he frowns slightly as Brendon furrows his brows, and cocks his own head, as he didn't know what Dallon meant.
"No.. I wasn't with you. I've been out here for almost twenty five minutes, after I lost you I immediately came back out here. I had no idea where you were," Brendon says, and he gives Dallon a concerned look.
"Are you okay? Maybe you're just shaken up from being in the house?" He questions, and Dallon shakes his head.
"N-No! I swear we were just together, are you sure you're okay? Bren we made out! What do you mean you weren't with me?" Dallon asks in return, and he watches as Brendon's jaw drops a little.
"What? Uh, no.. Dallon we didn't make out. Nuh uh, I've been out here basically the whole time you were inside, we couldn't have made out," Brendon says, and Dallon notices how his cheeks heat up at the mention of them making out.
"But.. we did make out.." Dallon says, gesturing to his slightly messy hair, and his darker colored lips, and Brendon only shakes his head.
"Nuh uh, the minute after I lost you and saw that ghost, I was outta there," Brendon replies, his cheeks darkening in color as he looks at Dallon.
"A ghost? I never saw a ghost.." Dallon says softly, and he trails off a little to the end as his eyes widen.
"Dallon.. Did you make out with a ghost?!" Brendon almost yells, his eyes wide as the realization hit him.
"I- but how could I?! It's a ghost! Not a person! What the fuck?!" Dallon says, actually yelling a bit, and he runs a hand through his hair and he tugs a little. "This isn't funny, Brendon!" He yells as he hears Brendon go into a fit of giggles.
"It looked just like you! And I could touch it! The only differences were your tones of voice, and your- its, skin felt a lot cooler when I touched it, and not warm like yours is.. how could I make out with a ghost?!"
Brendon covers his mouth to contain his giggles a little, and he continues to blush, but he slowly steps forward and he pats his shoulder.
"Dall, have you never read any of the stories from this house? People say they always see themselves in there, and they all think it's ghosts, and that's probably what happened, so now we know! I'm here now and I'm real," Brendon says smiling, and he puts his hands on Dallon's chest as he smiles up at him.
Dallon just looks down at him with an unreadable expression, and Brendon giggles again.
"You're positive you're real?" He asks, and he slowly wraps his arms around the smaller boy in front of him. "Like, you're not some stupid ghost, and you're not lying to me right?"
Brendon shakes his head and he wraps his arms around Dallon too so that they're now hugging.
"No, Dally, I'm not lying to you. I'm right here, that stupid ghost is still back in the house," Brendon replies, and he looks up at Dallon and giggles more.
"Oh, shut up.. it's not that funny," Dallon huffs out, and he rolls his eyes a bit as Brendon just continues to giggle.
"Yes it is! You made out with a freaking ghost!" The shorter replies, and he pulls away from Dallon, grabbing his hand and pulling him back down the walk way of the old house.
"That shouldn't be funny though, we should be more concerned about the fact that I touched a ghost.."
Brendon giggles but he nods gently. "That too, that is pretty creepy. Well, now we know not to come back to this house, like, ever again," he replies, and he swings his and Dallon's hands.
"Yeah, and especially on Halloween," Dallon adds, and Brendon nods.
They reach the end of the drive, and it actually looks a bit normal. There actually happens to be signs of civilization, so it immediately reassures both of them.
Dallon lets out a heavy sigh and he looks over at Brendon, smiling a little.
"We still going to my place?" He asks, looking down at the younger as he chews on his bottom lip, the younger's smile immediately reassuring him.
With a gentle 'Yes, please,' Brendon slowly starts to walk with Dallon, keeping their fingers intertwined the whole way there, both of them being more than comfortable with it.
As the reach the boys house, Dallon smiles, sighing. They walk up the porch, and as they reached the door, Brendon slowly turns and he looks up at Dallon, smiling a little.
"That was crazy," he giggles, biting his lip a little and Dallon just huffs, another blush creeping up onto his cheeks.
"Oh, shut up.." he murmurs, rolling his eyes fondly.
Brendon giggles, and he just flashes his bright smile. He leans up on his tip toes and he swiftly kisses Dallon, the taller being a bit shocked, but he quickly relaxes and kisses back, just melting into the sweet feeling of the others lips against his.
It was a crazy sensation to him. He felt that little fire ignite inside of his chest, almost like it did when he was kissing the ghost, which he would never live down, except he knew it was real this time.
As they pull away, they both pant slightly, their foreheads slightly pressed together, Dallon's hands having moved up to cup the smaller's cheeks.
"Has this been enough proof that I'm real?" Brendon asks, smiling. Dallon only chuckles.
"More than enough, actually."
Brendon hums, as if he was in thought and he just giggles. "Good, now unlock the door," he says, giggling a little.
Dallon nods, smiling a bit as he steps forward, carefully unlocking the door in front of them.
"C'mon, ghost kisser," Brendon giggles, slowly leading the taller into the house after he's gotten the door open.
