Before getting into the update, it has been a long time since the last update so here's a quick recap for those who may have forgotten. A LOT has happened, so try to keep up.

Yuki Sazuka is your average high school girl who's life was saved by Killua. This story takes five years after after the Chimera Arc, so Killua, Gon, and Alluka are teenagers now. Yuki thought that would be the last she would see Killua until he and his sister surprisingly enrolled into her school. Killua begs Yuki to be friends with Alluka, who's having trouble making new friends. Yuki eventually discovers Alluka's secret of having a supernatural alter ego and Killua being a pro hunter.

Over time they grow to being fast friends, Yuki and Killua growing especially close. When her mom's art show got stolen, Yuki unintentionally gets kidnapped by the Phantom Troupe. There, she meets Kalluto, one of Killua's siblings. Killua saves Yuki and her mom's painting that night. It was then that Yuki established to have full faith in Killua and that she has fallen head over heels for him.

In the night of the Fall Firework Festival, Gon visits town and joins his friends. Yuki and Killua's friends ditch them so that the two would have some alone time together. During the fireworks, Killua confesses his love for Yuki (like in any anime cliche), and like other anime cliches the tender moment was interrupted when Illumi called to let her know that he's holding her little brother as hostage and he won't give him back unless she trades Alluka in return.

Killua and Gon know that they're going to need all the help they can get, including Yuki's best friend who is revealed to be a chimera ant humanoid cat. They infiltrate the auditorium where they said they'd meet. Gon and Killua throws hands with Hisoka while Yuki went on her own to find her brother. Of course, she is confronted with Illumi who reveals that Killua comes from a family of assassins, him being a former assassin himself. None of that information matters, though, because she loves Killua no matter what.

They save Rin and Yuki and Killua start dating. Yay! Lizz also has a crush on Gon. Aww. But Gon's feelings toward Lizz are still unknown. Boooo...

Killua and Gon introduces Yuki and Lizz to their friends Leorio and Kurapika in celebration of Leorio's passing in medical school. They all had a bit too much to drink, though.

When Killua meets Yuki's mom for the first time, the night was ruined when it is revealed that Yuki's father was killed by none other than Killua years ago. Their relationship gets tested but love and forgiveness won in the end.

Eventually, Canary brings Killua the news that his father is ill and will be kicking the bucket soon, so he reluctantly returns home with Yuki as his plus one. Upon arriving at the Zoldyck manor, that's where Yuki meets Shiki Mitsuki, Killua's childhood family friend who he once was betrothed to. Hearing the news that Yuki is Killua's girlfriend, nobody was pleased and everything at the dinner table was awkward. Enraged through jealousy, Shiki tries to kill Yuki but was intercepted by Killua. Yuki does, however show Shiki kindness due to the sympathy she felt about chasing someone you love who doesn't love you back.

Shiki didn't give up on the rivalry, however, so she enrolls in Yuki's school as well to steal away Killua however she can. Over time, however, Shiki becomes part of the group.

During a class field trip, Yuki runs into Kurapika and Kalluto again to find them killing each other. Yuki convinces Kurapika to not kill Kalluto. She levels with Kalluto that he now owes her a solid that if Killua is ever in trouble, he would help her.

Christmas is coming so the girls head out on a shopping spree. Unfortunately, the girls get kidnapped by former chimera ant soldiers. Alluka uses the power of Something to escape, but Shiki wiped out nearly the entire fleet. This put her on thin ice with Killua, but for some reason he acted like he had completely forgotten about that.

As Killua and Shiki spent more time together, he's been distancing himself more from Yuki, breaking her heart. This is because a powerful Nen specialist named Zexion was hired by Illumi to portray as a student at Yuki's school to tamper with everyone's memories to turn Killua into a puppet. Shiki was in on it but soon has a change of heart. However, this didn't stop Zexion's schemes as he changed Yuki and Shiki's memories, making them think they lived completely different lives without any recollection of their true friends.

Yuki could have ignored the odd feeling, but she resisted and managed to gain most of her memories back. Shiki got her memories back, feeling guilty, but there's no time for that. Killua and Alluka would be leaving town soon in the hands of Illumi. Luckily, Gon and Lizz managed to stall for time, stopping them themselves.

Shiki gives Lizz a helping hand on defeating Zexion while Yuki stops Killua from killing Gon. Yuki breaks Killua out of his trans through the power of love and Killua kills Illumi to protect his loved ones.
