My art skills improved a lot and because of that I have quite a few pieces to showcase.

I don't like it really but it's okay.

I really like this.

Did a lot of watercolour to experiment with different art media's and materials. They all turned out well.

I was going to do four pages of fashion inspired by the seasons but have only finished a few pieces.

Believe it or not but I drew this as an entry for my high school logbook and it got the well deserving front cover (first place). I surprised, not only myself and my family, but a lot of those people who didn't even know me well enough that I draw that well (and that was pretty much everyone except my closest friend). The teacher I submitted it to (cause he ran the whole thing) thought it was digital but he knew me because he taught me and knew it was a drawing, especially since he had the hardcopy to scan it. The principal even thought it was digital when she saw it and my teacher that I submitted the art to had to convince her that it was in fact hand drawn. I'm sure a lot of people still think it is because it wasn't known enough that it was traditional. A few people were like, oh it's lovely, and I'm like thank you and I had to mention that it was traditional so people knew the effort and hard work that I put in because everyone was mistaken. Mind you a lot of the artworks submitted into the logbook cover comp had been digital for years and I decided to make my last year the best and that's what I did and I was glad to achieve my goal of getting first place too.

Also my piece was the only traditional one I think and there has been at least one traditional piece win 1 of 4 covers over the last 4 years of highschool. 6 year's ago digital was starting to be introduced to the covers and traditional was slowly being overridden and my last year would have had all digital if I hadn't decided to enter in my piece. I doubt there will be any traditional art from the following years but I was glad to finish it off with what I had. And to win over the other three digital pieces was just amazing because digital does look better than a scanned piece of traditional artwork.

So yeah a lot of people were shocked and needed a little convincing that it wasn't digital.

(Sorry for that major paragraph, I just loved everyone's expression and realisation of how well it was drawn and the fact that it was drawn by me. It was and still is such a proud moment for me.)

There was absolutely no reference images used for this so it is pretty terrible because of that but it is actually pretty good to have it completely from the mind. A lot of flaws but I wanted to do a Christmas themed piece and wanted it done quickly and that's what I did.

This is a bit meh but it's pretty good.
