Apollo the greek god decided to quickly swing by a temple in Athen. And there he saw the most wonderful woman he had ever seen. Beautiful wavy hair and olive green eyes, her beauty was stunning and he quickly fell in love with her, but she didn't feel the same way at first.

After years, she finally responded to his love and they loved eachother dearly.... However, Cassandra was worried for their love, since he was a god and she was just a simple girl. Apollo noticed this, and gave her the power to see into the future, so that she could rest assure that he would only love her.

That night, Cassandra used her power to see their future together, but to her fear, she saw something way worse. Apollo was alone without her. They would have a happy life, but it would all just be gone in the blink of a eye when she died, and he would be left alone without his love.

Cassandra was devastated and her heart was broken to imagine a future, where they made eachother happy, to just rip away his heart when she died.

She slowly made her way to the sacred river. She would rather die now, than to wait 20 years and let Apollo feel all the pain of all those years they spent together, when she would have to leave him.

She jumped down from the bridge and let the water drag her down.

Apollo felt that something was wrong, and found her body in the river. He has never forgiven himself, and the other gods can't even reach out to him anymore.
