titles?
Haha, funny story. I think everyone accidentally does this. Chooses the name "AfterTale". Such a popular name, isn't it? And a popular AU too.

Why did you choose the final title?
I felt as if, during my story, the world is turning into Chaos. I don't understand why I did the Chao part, maybe to make it sound a little better. But you can call it ChaoTale or ChaosTale, it doesn't matter.

Was it easy or hard to choose a title?
It was actually kind of hard, because I wanted something with Under or Tale in it, and I decided against Under. And I wanted a name that went with the plot.

Who's the protagonist?
Frisk and Sans

Why are they the protagonist, and not someone else?
This is partially mentioned in my Chaos references chapter, but not a very good reason.
Frisk, of course, is the final human to ever fall in underground, and they serve a great importance to the storyline.

Sans, on the other hand, I feel as if he could be seen more useful and powerful.
I see him as a main protagonist a lot, he's actually a pretty popular character.
I wanted to go with two protagonists originally. I thought: maybe I should do someone who is close to Frisk.

I didn't want to do Papyrus or Toriel, them being against killing humans and monsters.
Undyne I felt didn't have a close enough relationship, Mettaton is a no, and Alphys just doesn't seem like one of those heroes who would literally go through void after void, just to save the world.

And Sans has gained so much knowledge about what you do after resetting, and is aware of so many things. Flowey is capable of this too, but I don't see him as much as a hero.

Are they a hero or everyperson?
They are, yes.

What's their job?
Not really. Frisk is still technically a child, and Sans is just lazy.

Do they have a love interest? Rivals fighting for their affection? A harem that hangs on their every word?
The book isn't too much based on any relationships, but I usually sneak in a scene sometimes, but not mostly. I was never much of a person for romance books (Though I do really like The Selection, it's pretty good. Don't judge me), but Soriel is a thing I'll mention once or twice, and Frisk pretty much is just alone.

Is there a secondary protagonist? Who?
No, not really. Unless you want to count Tekton, I suppose.

The main antagonist?
Chara

What do they have against the protagonist?
Alright. A little more backstory. So, I've always imagined Chara as being a guide to many humans that fell down in different universes and times lines, to try and persuade them to do a genocide route.
In ChaoTale, I have Chara say once or twice that Frisk had betrayed them, or wished they had listened to "him", otherwise known as Flowey, when he says its kill or be killed. Now, onto the main plot, Chara is furious that the monsters are above ground, and feels that humanity nor the monsters deserve this, because some of the humans actually love having the monsters up above.

They want to destroy Frisk and all of the monsters, and hopes for humanity to fall down with them.

Are they a loner, or do they have a second-in-command?
Chara is a loner, but they do control Matthew/Tekton

Villain with good or bad publicity?
I honestly don't understand this question too clearly.

Who's the most important character not on this list? Why are they
important?
I know I've already mentioned him in one thing, but I feel as Tekton is important to the story, but not because he's my OC.
Of course, Chara could've just found another person to control. This is something that follows along with the story. Since Chara is already known by Frisk and Sans, they can't go out and try to manipulate the group. After the past reincarnations of the souls had failed Chara, the green soul was one of the only other ones to control. And Chara hit the jack pot. Tekton's kindness as a skeleton slowly drains away as Chara sinks into his skin, and he grows more and more attached to his human form, than who he truly is. He starts to judge, such as at the beginning asking why Frisk lived with monsters. He's important to show Frisk Chara's power, and to also explain everything about his past, and potentially for even readers to learn a lesson of the saying, don't judge a book by its cover; and don't judge a person for who they are.

Who's the least important character that you pay attention to?
Not really anyone.

What's the most prominent canon ship?
Prominent... I totally didn't look up what that meant.
But as said before, the story doesn't focus on this.

Sans and Chara are probably my favorite characters to write with. I love the fighting scenes with them, and practicing my evil characters with Chara.

Write a nice, long description about the story:
Frisk is a human who had fallen down into the underground long ago. It was filled with monsters, hoping to take their soul and free themselves. Frisk ended up peacefully getting through the underground and escaping not by themselves, but with all the monsters behind them.

Now, they live with their friends in a small quaint house with a secret underground base.
But soon, Frisk and one of their friends- a lazy punny skeleton named Sans- start to have nightmares of humanity killing monsters merciless.

Eventually one night, Frisk couldn't take the nightmares anymore, bursting into tears. Toriel and Sans come to comfort the child, and Frisk and Sans go out stargazing, until a group of humans- the main ones leading the war attack them.

They thankfully escape, and all of the group hide underground in the secret base.

After Frisk snuck out to warn other monsters, they find the king fallen, and killed.
They are soon killed after. Sans saves their soul from further harm, and the two work together to bring Frisk back to life and restore the peace once again.

That sounds interesting, but can you cut it to under 200 words for the back cover?
Uh, Frisk is a human child who lives with their monster family above the surface. Them and Sans- a close skeleton friend in the family start to have odd dreams, ending up to Frisk's demise, and the start of a war.
