I think I mentioned Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) in another recent chapter. I watched it in three days (the only season that's out only has twelve episodes so . . .) and it was amazing! The characters and storyline are so unique and the animation is breathtaking! I seriously can't recommend it enough!

So I drew Phosphophyllite (Phos) the main character. I think so far my favorite character is Bort, but Phos is also very amazing and doesn't deserve all these hard times they have to go through because they are so precious.

I drew post-winter Phos, and Phos has other designs that go through the story, but this one just looks very interesting to me. I also found out that, I think it was terra cotta, wine, and parrot green look very cool together. Screw my camera quality

Anyway, here is the completed drawing!

I'm REALLY proud of this. I did things that I haven't done before and I believe I was able to do them well, so yay! I love how sparkly it is. 

Also tip: practice your drawing before you do it! I did lots of thumbnails for the pose and how to color the hair and the gold alloy, and that made a big difference. I guarantee that if you do little sketches and practice things that your drawings will improve very much!
