So I drew my best friend Varsity101 (go check her out) for this art competition called J.V.A.S.E. I was in 7th grade when I drew it and I used the grid method. Basically you grid a picture and draw it square by square.

It basically looked like this when I was working on it.

I think I could have done a little better but I won a medal for it so I am happy with how it looks. You also had to explain your draw and use art words like value and texture. When I entered in 6th grade I was the only one in my grade who didn't get a medal because I didn't explain my work right so I was mad but when I entered in 7th grade only me and another person got a medal out of the whole grade so I was happy. Totally wasn't stressful at all...yeah.

I did do drawings like these before. This one I did for Hispanic Heritage Month. It was a picture of Cesar Chavez.

I think I did this one I 7th grade too or 6th grade I forgot. I don't have the picture of this finished though. My art teacher probably has it.
