I DREW THORN AS A SHADOW SPIRIT!!

Because I kind of figured you guys didn't really have a good picture of what he looks like.

I love how it almost looks like he's on fire!! AND HIS EYES. AND JUST-

HIM.

In case you guys are confused about Shadow Spirits, they are basically beings made of shadow and infused with Dark Magic. They're not really born - simply created. They are able to inhabit bodies so they can remain solid without having to feed off the power of shadows. A Shadow Spirit without a body can be solid, but only for a few hours at a time. After this, they must settle into a shadow and regain their strength and magic. Thorn's shadow spirit figure is in between solid and shadow most of the time, and since he doesn't have a body anymore, he must occasionally jump into shadows. Shadow Spirits have the ability to shapeshift into any form they wish, but to attack or touch anyone, they must make themselves solid. 

So I was explaining that to my older brother and two younger brothers, and they were all like "That's actually really cool." That made me really happy, because most of the time, they playfully tease me about my OCs and my stories. I told them that these characters, the Shadow Spirits, and the whole plot has been in my head since I was little. Like, ten maybe? I just didn't know how to write the story until Wattpad came along.
