Okay, so I said that I had a great dream last night, and now I really just want to write it, so I'm going to tell you guys the story idea and see what you think. PLEASE give me feedback!

General Plot:

In a world of magic and princesses, an evil rose up from the underground. A dark spell, chanted by a mysterious man who keeps in the shadows, is slowly spreading over the lands. The Five Princesses of the Five kingdoms, united by an oath taken by their ancestors, come together to destroy and defeat this evil. 

The virus like spell can succumb beings to their will, making them look sickly and act irrationally. Some CHOOSE to be overcome by the spell and use it to create power. The spread of the spell is lead by one such man, Varian, someone who used the virus to rise up in power among gangs and villain leagues. The Princesses must stop him before he reaches the Earth kingdom. If it spreads there, it may be unstoppable. 

The Five Princesses, using their elemental magic, manage to defeat and drive off the enemy, and weaken the virus spell. Several of the people that were overtaken by the magic become very weak, and a few of them are found dead. Varian is assumed dead as well. 

Princess Serena, the Princess of the Ice Kingdom, as well as some of her people, are tasked with taking care of the dying and the dead. Serena is taking care of Varian's "body" when he suddenly springs back to life, holding knife to her throat. He's seriously injured and needs to heal, so he strikes a deal with Serena.  She must help him recover, but she only agrees if when he promises to leave her and her kingdom along once he's better. 

The story then goes on explaining how she snuck him into her kingdom, how she got him into the castle, the lie she told her large family about him when they learned he was there, and so forth. In the many months Varian spends while he is in the Ice Kingdom, he learns of Serena's struggles as a person and a princess. Serena learns why Varian accepted the spell to gain power, and how he first tried to use it to save his family. The two of them end up falling in love, and Varian sees the error of his ways and wants to help stop the virus spell once and for all, with Serena's help. 

When the two of them leave the Ice Kingdom, for the first time in several months, they learn that the spell has spread even farther than ever, and most of the kingdoms are overrun by the people who "control" or "follow" the dark spell. Two princesses have even been killed by the virus. Varian and Serena must go into hiding, trying to learn more about the spell and how it came to be while remaining discreet. 

I'll stop here because I don't want to reveal too much, but I have most of the ending planned out. *evil laughter*

Main Characters:

Princess Serena

Age: 18

Height: 5'10

Magical Abilities: She can control snow and ice, but she can also conjure a few other spells.

Likes: Casual wear, lightly goth clothes, her fireplace, her family, her people, Princess Ariana, her cat, ice cream.

Secretly Likes: Varian

Dislikes: Her job, wearing stuffy princess attire, her advisors, the assumptions people make about her and her people, the rumors about her and her people, the cold, giant dogs, people making fun of her, her cousin Aaron. 

Personality: Serena is a very quiet princess. She does not talk much to other people, and will give the impression that she is cold towards people. However, Serena is actually a kind princess, and a hard worker. She is a determined young lady and when she puts her mind to something, will do her best to get it done. She is soft-spoken most of the time, but when faced with difficult situations, she is very coolheaded and handles them well. On rare occasions, she can be pretty stubborn. 

Appearance: Serena is a tall but dainty looking princess with long legs and long arms. She has perfect cheekbones and full lips, but her nose is a little small in her opinion. Her eyes normally have dark rings under them, unless she hides it with makeup. Her hair is silver with streaks of black, normally braided or loose, and falls past to her waist. She likes to wear black or white clothes, no in between. She has violet eyes.

Varian Hothshadow

Age: 21

Height: 6'4

Magical Abilities: Can spread virus spell over lands and people, can manifest shadows and control them, can blend into darkness and become unseen, possible undiscovered abilities.

Likes: Being in control, getting stronger, warmth, comfy homes, his abilities, teasing.

Secretly Likes: Being hugged, being shown affection, showing affection, having friends and family, softies, Serena. 

Dislikes: Being looked down on, being disregarded, snobs, spoiled brats, being weak.

Personality: Varian is a stubborn and determined young man. He doesn't talk much if he doesn't know you, but he doesn't come off as shy. However, he is a nice person to be around once you get to know him (and if he likes you). He can make you laugh and he will tease you. Otherwise, he's fairly chill and calm, though he can have a pretty wild temper at times. He is very passionate and if he's upset he may go into long rants. 

Appearance: Varian's appearance changes depending on what he's doing. Normally, he is a sturdily built tall young man with white hair that brushes past his ears, and his eyes are yellow. However, when he uses the dark spell to manifest his abilities, his hair turns black and his eyes turn red. He has a black wispiness around his body when he uses spells. He normally wears black clothes. His favorite thing to wear is his leather jacket with a wool hood.
