♤Cursed♤ Monster! Matt
( sorry that the picture is a little fuzzy. But this is what the witch looks like )
~Matt's pov~
I was cursed by a witch for being vain and not caring about others.
I had grown a long serpent tail, my feket looked like those of a Velociraptor, my hands hand long sharp claws, and a large pair of antlers grew on my head. I was a walking nightmare.
I walked alone in the forest. I couldn't let the world see that I had become. I was a hideous monster now...
I had lost my way in the woods while Edd, Tom, and I were taking a hike. I walked down the dead pine needle trail until I saw an old cabin that looked abandoned. It had long ivy vines hanging from the roof and moss growing on the pillars. But there was smoke rising from the chimney. I walked closer and saw a figure wearing a purple cloak, hunched over, and smoking a pipe. As I got closer, the figure noticed me and looked up, the hood of their cloak hiding their face.
"Excuse me, young man, but could you help me stack my wood for the winter?" They said with an old, womanly, one.
"Um, no. I have to find my way out of this forest, so..." I reply to the woman.
"Please, it'll only take a few moments. Besides, a little old lady like myself can barely do this on her own." She asked once more.
"Look, I have more important things to do than stack wood for and old lady. Now, if you dont mind." I say to her as I start to walk off.
"Heh, just as I though." A new voice said. It sounded sweet and smoot, like a young woman.
I turn back to the elderly woman and she stands up straight, tossing her cloak aside. She wasn't an old lady at all. Instead, she was a beautiful young lady with long brown hair, deer ears, and little antlers on her head, with feathers and beads hanging from them. She wore a long, elegant brown dress that was decorated with feathers. She stared at me with disgust and scoffed.
"Your so cold and so vain that you wouldn't help and elderly lady in need? Shame on you." She scolded.
I instantly regret what I had said to her and try to apologize.
"I-im sorry. If I knew that you were a lovely young lady, I surely would have helped!" I say to her.
"So, if I really was an old woman, you still wouldnt help?" She replies with venom.
That was my mistake...
"Matthew Hargreaves. Your heart is Cold and Vain. You judge people for how they look and not for who they are. For this, you shall be punished." She said as if I was on trial for my actions.
She took out a wand that looked as if it was carved from a Stag's Antler and pointed it at me. Purple and black sparkles swirled around me and surrounded me. They lifted me up and I felt very strange. I felt numb. I was unable to move my arms or my legs.
After a minute, the cloud of sparkles set me down and faded away. I felt weak and just laid on my side on the dirt path.
"For your punishment, you have been turned into a monster. Everyone will judge you for how you look and will scorn and fear you. The only way to redeem yourself will to find a person who will accept you for who you are. Only then will you become human once again." That was all she said before she dissapeared.
I shakily stood up and ran to a pond and looked at my reflection. I was horrified...
I am a monster...
