You can see some difference between Marisa and Meriso.  (Genderbend)

-Marisa's tail have a heart shape and kinda have more fluffy one. 

-Meriso's tail have a sharp one and fluffy

-Marisa's Hair was more long and have a ribbon on it

-Meriso's Hair was short and have no ribbon on it
