Luca had lived a terrible life, he had always been treated harshly ever since he was a kid! Two twin brothers named Santana and Santaro found him when they were six years old while ge was still five, he was injured to death but they healed him back to heath, Luca decided to stay with the two and the biys (reluctantly) agree. The two started to noticed that Luca's body was frail and very weak and thought that they should toughen him up by treating harshly like other kids to see if he could fight back. Unfortunately it never works, so they kept trying to make him stronger by bullying him and make fun of him like other kids do. That atill only made him cry and run away like a baby. They both kept doing this as they hot older, as they did, Luca's behavior around others changed,  he became cold and distant. Tried to look intimidating to others just so that way they could stay away from him. He was cold and tries to keep it that way because he thinks others would try to hurt him more. The bullying and git to him and he immediately started becoming distant from others but that didn't mean that the beatings and the words from the twins never escaped him. Not once did he had a friend until he had meet Taiki 'Thorn' Kudo! He was a punk but was also kind hearted to others. He was the only one who wasn't afrad of Luca. (Aside from santaro and santana) He started talking to him, trying to break his shell to see the real him. Until finally, Luca started to warm up to him. A year later Luca realized that he started to fall in love with him but one day, he saw that he was talking behind his bavk with Santaro and Santana,  making him feel so angry that he gad went to confront his so called 'friend'. Once they meet up words were thrown along with questions. Luca was shocked when he found out that he was just being used by Thorn for his own gains on getting money from others. Luca wanted to think that what he was saying was a joke but he knew he had to face reality. He soon ran off without another word, trying to hide his tears. Soon Luca had enough and went to his secret spot which was a bridge. He soon jumps off the edge and drowns in the ocean. But fails at commiting suicide when someone saw him and saved him from nearly drowning. He wakes up in a hostpital room, his partner Digimon Gato was waiting near the window, he hugged him and explained that he saw him drown and wanted the both of them to leave the city, and his team. Luca agrees with the idea without a second thought and soon, they both leave byt when they both get sucked into a portal that leads them to a 'different' digiquarts, things start to get a lot more interesting from there.
