Lilly and Star

I was walking around the forest in search of a fairy I heard they can be pretty valuable for companionship and navigation. It depends on which you find I had my bow in hand with an arrow loaded ready to shoot if any of those monsters find me. Or I can use it to scare of bandits my white hair flowed in the breeze my pink eyes scanned the area for any movement. When I heard a rustling in one of the bushes I aimed my bow until I saw something fly out of it. It was a fairy I set down my bow and walked closely up to it trying to quite my steps. As the fragile creature stopped and looked around I quickly cupped my hands and quickly catching it between my hands bring it close to my body. It was flying around between my hands trying to get out, for a solid minute it kept fighting till it stopped and I felt it sit I opened my hands a little just enough for me to see it. I then saw the helpless small creature sitting on my hand looking up at me horrified it put its tucked itself in a ball and stayed like that. I then grabbed a jar from my bag with tiny holes at the top of it opening it and placing the fairy inside gently. I then closed it and headed back to town to my house.

Half an hour later we arrived back a my place I walked threw the door locking it behind me then walking to my room placing my bag an bow down beside my door. I closed my door behind me then walking to my desk placing the jar down where the fairy was. She was looking down then faced me with a sadden expression as if it was ready for its fate. I then sat down at my desk I placed my hand on my cheek "so you got a name cutie" I said softly not wanting to scare it. I decided if I'm going to keep this little one I might as well treat it like a human and not a monster. The fairy looked confused at my conversation starter but nodded a little before standing up a little "my names Lilly what's your honey" she looked down a little embarrassed till she finally spoke. "M-my names Star" she spoke in a hushed voice her voice was smooth and gentle I smiled a little "thats a beautiful name" Star blushed then looked down she was smiling she was kinda cute she had coal black hair chocolate brown eyes and sun kissed skin. Her hair was in a bun and had a small flower crown surrounding her bun. With her bangs covering her left eye but still letting it show. She was wearing a lilac short sleeved dress with lilac wings her feet were laced with thin green vines and had a brown satchel to compliment it. We talked for awhile getting her comfortable I then decided to let her out.

We've been together for a couple of months and my life changed when I got Star. She showed me a different view in monsters. I've decided to quit hunting and I started going on adventures and because of that got me much more friends. She's been very helpful with my quests, helping me finding my way out of trouble, keeping me in good company and helping me in my anger and stress level. I wouldn't trade her for the world. Sometimes I always wonder if I never caught Star how my life would be now. Probably falling in the path of greed and insanity but I shake that thought out of my head knowing to always think ahead. I'm glad I found her.
