Here we have a (badly self drawn) family portrait of King Afal Sakari with his first wife Brusinka and their (ten year old) son, Appel. Quick extra, Appel is heir to the throne but is the second son- he was determined heir however due to validity. The first son Punainen was born to Afal's second wife who wasn't as popular/well known as Brusinka. Basically even though he's legally married to both, Punainen's mother is like a concubine whereas Brusinka is the queen so they went with Appel instead.

Here we have Punainen and Pansy, his "fiancée" (I don't really like her outfit coloring 😓 tried to base it off an actual pansy but failed

Punainen is one of my favorite bois cause I made him have a whole slew of issues 😂 one of which happens to be Pansy. Punainen is a little- ok BIGGG playboy. He dates like, five girls at any given time, but isn't serious about any of them. He's respectful though and let's it be known to all of the girls he's seeing that he's just in it for fun, no actual feelings involved. If their cool with it he'll play around with them and if not he'll back off. Pansy was one of his numerous girlfriends but decided that wasn't enough anymore when she fell in love with him. Punainen tried to break it off when he found out but she ended up blackmailing him into making her his fiancée against his will. As for what she's black mailing him with. . .

When Punainen was younger he was isolated from most of his family due to distrust of his mother who tried to kill Appel on his tenth birthday. Despite this the only one who actively spent time with him was Violetti, Afal's third wife (ok pretty sure y'all noticed but yes Afal's got several wives at the same time) As a result Punainen got extremely attached to Violetti and developed feelings for her which eventually morphed to him being full on in love with her. Sadly such a thing is REALLY not ok considering she's not only one of his fathers' wives but the mother of two of his younger sisters. He still loves her though and keeps it pretty well hidden from everything though occasionally has a slip, which Pansy caught and threatened to expose resulting in the whole blackmailing thing. Violetti herself knows nothing of his feelings and he plans to keep it that way, but occasionally looks at his now grown up self and has a bit of a double take. She still cares for him though.
