Not that I think someone will, but ya know 😅 can never be too careful 🤗 I put a lot of effort into making these things. I'd be really upset if someone tried to claim my hard work as theirs.)

Today's lesson- Drink people! Or more specifically Liquid people. For today's example I shall be using Maasika (Maasika Banaani Silee), one of my food people OCs who is a Drink person. As the people who follow my comic may know, in the world it takes place people are not human, but rather a kind of humanized version of food. Well, not exactly human. And for those who wonder about the way the world functions or how the Food people species work, I've decided to make chapters like this explaining how!

Drink people are those whose flavors or food is any type of liquid, hence the other term for them, Liquid people. Drink people are not limited to drinks, but to any kind of food that is not exactly solid, like syrup, sauce, glaze, ect. However they are only considered a drink person if their flavor is specifically only a liquid, like a milkshake. If their flavor is a cake with Lemon glaze, then they are not a drink person. And there are thin lines between a Liquid person and a Food person, but I'll get into that another time since it gets confusing.
Firstly, Drink people are able to naturally retain a humanoid form. Similar to how humans are able to breath without thinking about it, Drink people's brains involuntarily have their bodies take shape. The immediate shape they take is their humanoid one, because that's how they usually live on a daily basis. If your thinking, "Oh cool, then does that mean they can shapeshift into whatever they want?" The answer is no, they can't. However, they can take the shape of whatever they're placed in like liquid does. (Because of this they usually sleep in giant cups or specially designed beds)

Their bodies are made entirely of liquid. They are only solid while they are in their humanoid forms and even then they are not entirely solid. If they are suddenly shocked or frightened, their bodies will revert to liquid form and they will act like a drink spilling out of a cup. Once they splash to the ground it usually takes a few moments before they turn back into their normal shape, similar to how when someone falls it takes a moment to get back up again. Of course because of this if they choose to they can remain on the floor like someone would lie on a floor. When they're in their liquid form they are able to move around somewhat, but not very well. If they want to move around in liquid form their movements will be rather sluggish and they would have to be careful not to be stepped on or have some of their liquid soaked up by a carpet. If some of them did happen to be soaked up by something or if they just lost it somehow, when they reform there are a few things that would have happened.
1: Their bodies will look exactly the same but they will be smaller.

2: They will be missing a portion of their body, like an arm or a leg.

Or 3: The length of something on them will be shorter, like their hair or a foot.

All of these are easily fixed though. All they need is some more of their own liquid or a liquid they use and they'll be good as new. (For example if Maasika had lost some of her liquid and she became half her usual height, someone could just throw some milk on her or better yet, a strawberry banana smoothie and her body will absorb it. After that she'll be her normal height again without any problems)

Drink people eat food and they do require substance. While that substance doesn't have to be solid food, it does have to be substance none the less.
