Before this...

Gold's POV

I saw Lailani worth Ari, walking to the park.

I ran toward Lailani and Ari, scaring them. They screamed, as I laughed. "You jerk!" Lailani cried, blushing, and punching my arm, me smiling. Well, I thought that I would come with you guys." I said, blushing at Lailani, then looked at the dark night sky.

"Well, I am going to go. See ya!" Ari said, walking home. Me and Lailani waved back, holding Lailani's hand while she didn't see. We found a spot on the grass, to lay down and look at the stars and the dark sky.

"Why did Ari have to leave?" I asked Lailani, then who ignored me, me confused.  Then Lailani looked at me, finally talking.

"Well, its---"

The ground rumbled, feeling an aura. "What is it, Gold?" Lailani said as she saw me close my eyes.

"Its something...big, coming this way..."

I couldn't figure out what is was..My power never was like this...

I opened my eyes, looking at where Lailani was.

'She's gone...'  I thought as I heard a scream. It sounded just like Lailani.

I looked up, seeing Dr. Eggman's ship, sending robots down.

I saw people running, screaming for there lives. "Don't be scared, fight the robots!" I heard a voice behind me say.

I saw Cloud, with a Wispon in his hand, giving it to Gadget.

"Cloud! Gadget!" I cried, punching a robot on the ground.

"Can you guys take these guys? I have to stop Eggman!" I said as I watched Cloud and Gadget fight the robots.

They both nodded.

I ran to the Fleet, seeing Eggman with Lailani in his hands.

"Let her go, Eggman!" I screamed.

When I was about to punch Eggman, I felt a little bite on my arm.

I kept seeing two Eggmans, and a masked stranger.

"Gold! Wake up!"

That was the last thing I heard before everything went black.

I woke up in a contaminate chamber, with bubbles in it.

I saw that strange villan staring at me, with his yellow eye.

"Your awake, hedgehog." I heard Egghead say, smiling.

"What...Where am I?" I asked, confused.

Until I looked around, I was on the Fleet.

Great.

"You see my new invention, Infinite." Eggman said with a chuckle.

Infinite took off his mask, with me shocked.

I thought he was a ROBOT!

"You won't get away with this! Sonic will defeat---!"

I felt dizzy. Like bubbly soda..

"Have a nice sleep...Dark" I heard Eggman said as everything became a blur.

I woke up...everything hurting...even my face felt like it was melting...

''Hello, Gold'' I heard a voice in my head say as I looked around, seeing where I was..

"He's over here!" A voice said, holding a light.

Lailani's POV

I walked toward the body, seeing Gold. I gasped as I saw the scars on his body. Ari looked at Gold, then turned around seeing me cry. Then Ari hugged me for comfort.
