Work Doodle #22
Dang, it's been a while, but we're finally back with the "Beyblade Burst God AU x Epic: The Musical" crossover!
The next saga, the Thunder Saga, hasn't been released yet, but Jorge has been posting lots of sneak peeks about upcoming songs both in that saga and future sagas! We have a lot of material to work with, so we're going to keep this going!
I checked the lineup, and the next song is "Scylla"!
(I'm actually impressed with how well this came out. I forgot how pen and ink can make a drawing look extra creepy.)
I drew Bisuke singing as Scylla, the monster that Odysseus and his men face in the water. I know Scylla isn't a god, like Tiresias from the previous Work Doodle post, but it's my crossover AU and I make the rules.
Bisuke is the God of Fear, so he's especially sensitive to places with high levels of horror. He'd be tracking Odysseus and his men for a good chunk of their journey, finding amusement and pleasure in their fear. Bisuke's main job is to remind humans of their fears, so he'd be understandably ticked off when he notices Odysseus being persistent in his journey to get home, despite all the obvious dangers he faces. He would confront the Captain and his crew to remind them of their fears, and to show them exactly what their fears can do to them if they're not on their guard.
To prove his point, he would transform into the crew's worst nightmare: a monster with enough mouths to swallow each of them up in the blink of an eye.
(I would've drawn the transformation, but goddamn, it's such a tiny notebook.)
Here's the song that the drawing is based off of, animated by the incredible Gigi! The song isn't officially out yet, so it's only a snippet, but it's still so cool! See you guys in the next Work Doodle!
