"IT'S DONE, PEOPLE!"

After much trial and tribulation- actually, I enjoyed drawing this very much- it's finally done. (You know, after completely redrawing it. Not sorry boi.)

Anywho, these two lovebirds, er... anthropomorphic tiger thing and sea lion mermaid furry thing, (just deal with my representation) are a couple in said story, and I happen to love the ship so I was like "I am drawing fan art if it kills me."

Um... I ran into a lot of trouble with this thing. First off, I re-drew the characters approximately a thousand eight hundred times before finding a position I liked for Primarina... and then Incineroar came around and RUINED EVERYTHING. (JK) He... uh... *nervous laughter* how do you make something that's designed to be angry and fierce all the time romantic and hot? (Yeah... I'll just show myself out.) So... I asked for some advice and decided to look through the scenes where Incineroar and Primarina are together and got a basic idea for how I wanted the picture to look and searched up some images of Incineroar for an idea for how to make it not look strange (It's got a weird mouth that ain't great for conveying emotion... which is why he's realistic now yey!). And then... I re-drew the whole thing. Some may see this as throwing away three hours of work... I call it improvement.

So this is sorta like my own interpretation of what happens when it's not Incineroar's or Primarina's POV. It's indicated that  they  watch sunsets together and I just sorta spliced that whole concept with Primarina sort of taunting Incineroar about the water etc. So... IDK what inspired me to put everything the way it is...  literally it was ten o'clock one night and I started sketching a Primarina and decided "HEY THIS IS PERFECT FOR DAT THING I PROMISED TO DO" and here we are.

What AND YES, I KNOW INCINEROAR IS POTRAYED AS BEING BIPED IN THE BOOK, BUT IN THE I CHOOSE YOU MOVIE THAT SHOULD NEVER BE MENTIONED IT IS SHOWN THAT IT CAN RUN ON FOUR LEGS (also it was the only way I could fit it onto the canvas I'd chosen).  And yeah, no fire belt. I was lazy okay? (Sorry)

And I know there's a lot wrong with this, but I'm a middle school girl. What do you expect?

Final thoughts: I enjoyed making this fan art, even if it took three months (Translation: A thousand billion quintillion years) for me to finally draw them in a way I like and get over procrastination and art block. I just hope it does the book justice.
